TO ACCESS HOLY SPIRIT’S VOICE (4): RISE UP EARLY

The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:4 (KJV)

Heaven has broadcasting times and seasons. The above scriptures suggests that. If the Lord Himself, awakens someone morning by morning, it means that there is something about the morning that is critical to hearing the broadcast of heaven. When is the best time to hear from the Holy Spirit one may ask. Psalms 19:2 says, “Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.” For everything, there is a time and a season (see Ecclesiastes 3:1). Broadcast stations have programme schedules for all their programmes. If the prime news hour is 7 a.m. each day and you tune in at 8 a.m, you can no longer catch the news. You’ve missed it for that day. All you can do is to settle for second hand information, which is not the same as hearing it by yourself. So also, hearing from God has its own time and season. And if you know when He attends to people, it becomes cheap to receive direction from Him. The exploits in Jesus’ ministry was founded on, “As I hear, so I judge…” (see John 5:30). But how was this possible? He had an understanding of times and seasons. He knew when best to get His Father’s attention.

TO ACCESS HOLY SPIRIT’S VOICE (3): BE SPIRITUALLY LIGHT

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight,…
Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

Accessing the voice of the Holy Spirit demands that we cast off every weight that seek to bring us down. To be spiritually light is to be rid of every spiritual weight that can weigh us down hindering us from accessing the voice of the Holy Spirit. What are these weights? Fear is a weight. II Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear? but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Fear is a spirit that can paralyze one causing the person to fail from faith. You are either in faith or in fear. Fear starts with doubts about Yahweh and His Word. You must lay aside fear if you desire to access the voice of the Holy Spirit. Worry is a weight. Philistines 4:7 (NET) says, “Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.” Worry places upon your shoulders such burden of the issues of your life. But how far can you go carry heavy weights. That account why many are breaking down in health because a lot of issues are in their minds that they should lay down at the feet of the Master Yahushua. Matthew 11:28 says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Worry makes you weary. Yes, heavy burdens of life makes life weary. But you can heed the Master’s call today and lay it down. You cannot hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in the midst of worry.

The Holy Spirit speaks. The challenge we have today is that we are not positioned in that place to access His glorious voice. Right now as you are reading this, there are radio waves in the air but you are not hearing anything because one you may not have the right kind of equipment to access the waves or you may even have the right equipment but it may not be powered on or even tuned into the frequency of the sound. So, you don’t only need the right kind of equipment or even having that equipment powered on, you also need to know how to tune your radio to the right frequency to be able to access the sound

KNOW YAHWEH’S LEADING (2): BY THE INWARD VOICE

I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Romans 9:1 (NASB)

The second way Yahweh leads us is through the inward voice. The Inward Voice is the voice of your recreated human spirit. It is called the conscience. Your recreated human spirit picks information from the Holy Spirit and repeats that through your conscience. The Holy Spirit dwells in your recreated human spirit and it is in there that He speaks. So your spirit picks up what the Holy Spirit is saying and repeats it. This is why quietness is very critical to picking that inward voice. The Inward Voice is often the school master and it is important that you keep it tender. You can sear your conscience. When you do wrong, it is not the Holy Spirit that condemns you. It is the Inward Voice that tells you “hey that is wrong”. So, to keep your conscience tender, always repent at its rebuke. When you continue to disregard your conscience, then at a time, it will go dead not speaking and correcting you any more. That is a situation of seared conscience. Don’t ever violate your conscience.

KNOW YAHWEH’S LEADING (1): BY THE INWARD WITNESS

The Spirit itself (Himself) beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Romans 8:16 (KJV)

When we talk about divine direction, so many people have this erroneous inclination that Yahweh would come and write in the sky or call them by name. From today, to some couple of days to come, we are going to x-ray how Yahweh actually leads. Expecting Yahweh to lead you in ways other than His approved way will expose you to the dangers of the spiritual realm. In the spiritual realm, Yahweh and Satan operates. Some are being led by Satan while all the time thinking that they are being led by Yahweh. The reason was that they sought divine leading in ways other than the Bible approved ways. The rule of the game is that all leadings must be scrutinized by the lens of the Word of Yahweh the Bible. Yahweh is never going to lead you contrary to the Word of Yahweh, the Bible. So any leading that you cannot point to scriptures that back it up or that expressly goes in contrast to the written Word is not from Yahweh. If you keep this in mind, then you would do well in the school of divine direction.

WHAT IS DIVINE DIRECTION?

So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
Deuteronomy 32:12 (KJV)

We established that Yahweh created man and placed him in Eden. Yahweh brought us forth from the womb into this world. That Yahweh has a purpose in mind for bringing me. Having come of age, I must seek to know the purpose for my making. Purpose is the original intention for the creation of a thing. Man was made to worship and praise Yahweh; to bring pleasure to Him. There is also specific purpose for each one of us. For instance, the purpose of the author is “To bring all people to maturity in their knowledge of HaMashiach, so they can begin to reign in life and ready for eternity. (see 1 Corin. 2:6-7)” When you understand your personal purpose, you seek the Lord to know the vision. Vision is the visual insight into where you are going to end up. Yahweh may show you the vision of the end of your life. From where you are to the end of the vision is where divine direction comes in. Divine Direction is the unfolding of the details of the “how” to go about achieving the vision Yahweh has given you. Divine Direction is receiving the instructions from Yahweh from time to time on the next step and moves to make in line with fulfilling your Yahweh-ordained vision.

BE WILLING TO BE LED

O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:Isaiah 48:18 (KJV)

Yahweh made man a free moral being. This means that you are free to make your choice in life. Even though Yahweh desires that nobody ends up in hell but He leaves each individual to make a choice of where he/she spends eternity. Even though Yahweh wants all to worship him, he still leaves each individual to make a choice whom to serve; this is why so many are serving Satan today. One thing with Yahweh is that He never violates man’s decisions especially as it concerns his/her life. It is Satan that forces and coerces. That is how to identify a Satanic religion. That religion that forces people against their will to belong or die is surely Satanic. Yahweh always present a choice to you and urges you to choose life. But He never forces you to choice life, you are very free to choose death (see Deuteronomy 30:15, 19; Joshua 24:15). What Elohim is saying today is that “I want to lead you but I cannot force myself on you. You must make the choice for divine direction and be willing for Me to lead you.”

BE INSTRUCTION MINDED

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
Proverbs 4:13 [KJV]

There are a lot of believers in HaMashiach that are only blessing minded. They are the Amen crew of believers; receiving blessings and echoing Amen and that ends it for them. But Yahweh has designed life to function on principles. There is a principle Yahweh established in Genesis 8:22: While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. It is the principle of Seedtime and harvest. Science decoded it and calls it the principle of cause and effect. This means that if harvest is your objective, then you must not ignore seedtime. This means that no matter how you shout Amen to a prophetic declaration, if that your Amen was the only action you took, you maybe heading to frustration if the outcome requires other input. For instance, until you give, you cannot receive. Giving is the seed that is required to be planted for the harvest of blessings to result. Luke 6:38 says, ‘Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.’ It is what you gave that a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over is returned into your bosom. This is a principle of seedtime and harvest and it has no respect to whether you are born again or not. If you take this principle no matter who you are and diligently apply it, you will without fail, end at the supposed outcome.

THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Isaiah 45:19 (KJV)

We serve a speaking God. Yahweh said in Number 12:8 concerning Moses, ‘With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold:’ This Month you must be convinced beyond a shadow of doubt that the Yahweh that you serve speaks. Moses went to the mountain for 40 days fellowshipping with Yahweh and He was giving us hint of their communication when He said that He spoke with Moses mouth to mouth. I want you to crave that order of communion with your heavenly Father. If it happened to Moses, then it can and should happen to you. Yahweh Speaks and He desires to speak with you mouth to mouth. Whatever is written is written for our admonition (see I Corinthians 10:11). In this month, we are going to learn how Yahweh speaks to us and how He told us to seek His direction.

YAHWEH HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11 [KJV]

In Jeremiah 1:5, Yahweh says ‘Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.’ Yahweh has a specific plan for you. Yahweh has a general plan for all of us His creation but also for us individually, He has a specific assignment. This is crucial because life becomes a frustration without taking delivery of the plan of Yahweh for our individual lives. So many people are frustrated even with fat bank accounts and all that money could buy. We have seen people parking their cars and going into the bush to commit suicide. So frustration is not just about not affording this world’s comfort. There is a plan for your life, if you are not functioning in that plan, there will be a hollow in your heart that can sometimes drive people to insanity of behaviour. Yahweh is stirring you up to seek Him for the unfolding of His plan for you. Whatever you are not looking for, you may not find.
