TO GET THE YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH (6): KNOW THE REALITY OF OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
I John 1:3 (KJV)

The very core reason for redemption is fellowship. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 says, ‘God is faithful, by whom ye were called UNTO THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.’ Notice, you were called unto fellowship with Yahweh’s Son, the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. The Greek word for fellowship in our text is ‘koinonia’. It means joint participation, communion, intercourse, intimacy. This is literally saying that we are in intercourse with the Father, and with His Son the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. This is the highest honour for the human spirit. The highest honour that the Father has ever conferred upon us is to be “joint-fellowshippers” with Himself, with His Son, and with the Holy Spirit in carrying out His dream for the redemption of the human race. But relationship without fellowship is an insipid thing. It is like the marriage relationship without love or fellowship. Fellowship is the very mother of faith. And fellowship is the parent of joy. It is the source of victory. And Yahweh has called us individually into fellowship with His Son. If you have fellowship with Yahweh and you are walking in the light as He is in the light, then prayer becomes one of the sweetest and one of the greatest assets to which we have become an heirs in HaMashiach.

This fellowship comes majorly in four ways:
1. By reading, studying and meditating on the Word. In John 6:63, the Lord Yahushua says that the words he speak are spirit and life. When you are in the word, reading, studying and meditating, you are having intercourse with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. By praying in the Holy Spirit that is praying in tongues. I hear people talk about what praying takes out of them. People wear themselves out because they are trying to carry the load themselves without Yahweh’s help. There is such a thing as resting in the Lord. In Isaiah 28, Isaiah prophesied that speaking in tongues is the rest wherewith the weary shall rest (see Isaiah 28:11,12). It ought to refresh and build up people to pray in tongues.
3. Worshiping in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. In Colossians 3:16, the word says that we should teach and admonish one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord. When you sing to the Lord, you are fellowshipping with Him. This brings the cloud of glory down.
4. Preaching the Gospel. There is nothing on earth that engages the partnership of the Father and the host of heaven like preaching the gospel. When you witness to others about the love of Yahweh that is the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach, at that point of sharing, you are fellowshipping with the Father and all heaven is backing you up. Mark 16:20 says that they went preaching everywhere the Lord working with them, confirming the word with signs following. So many Christians do not know what witnessing for Yahushua holds for their lives and destinies. It is an anchor for your faith because of the fellowship and partnership with the Father involved.
Become active in fellowship today with the Father and see your faith soar to the highest you could never imagine before. Shalom!

REMEMBER:   Fellowship with the Father is the secret to the highest kind of faith.

PRAYER:   Beloved Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I received grace to be in fellowship with You actively and consistently in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO GET THE YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH (5): KNOW THE REALITY OF THE INDWELLING PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
I John 4:4 (KJV)

Of all the mighty truths connected with redemption, this is the apex: Yahweh Himself, after He recreated us and made us new creatures and made us His own, is actually making our bodies His home! When you are born again, it is more than an experience. The Holy Ghost, the Third Person of the Godhead, a divine Personality, comes to live in you. In fact, the Bible even goes so far as to say that Yahweh Himself is living in you. 2 CORINTHIANS 6:16 says, ‘16 … for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell IN them, and walk IN them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.’ Yahweh no longer dwells in the man-made Holy of Holies. Through the new birth, our bodies have become His temple.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19, 20 says, ‘19 What? know ye not that YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE of the Holy Ghost which is IN you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.’ We need to become “God-inside minded.” In other words, we need to just simply take Yahweh at His Word. We need to believe and act like the Bible is true when it says, “. . . greater is he that is IN you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4)! “He that is in the world” is the god of this world, Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4). But, thank Elohim, He who is in us, the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, is greater than he who is in the world! Thank Elohim, Yahweh indwells us as believers, through the Person of the Holy Spirit, today too. Because of the indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit, it should be a common practice in the Church today for believers to say in every crisis of life, “I am more than a conqueror.” However, the truth is, making positive confessions based on our rights and privileges in HaMashiach is almost an unknown practice in the church world today.

You must remember that the Book of First John and the other epistles were letters written to believers who were Spirit filled. But you know, when faced with tests and trials, sometimes even people who have been filled with the Holy Ghost and have received the enduement of power from on High will sometimes run around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to find someone who can help them. They don’t always realize that they have received the Powerhouse, the Holy Spirit, living inside of them. Actually, the potential of all the divine Power there is dwells in us. If we’ll begin to believe what the Bible says and begin to confess what Yahweh’s Word says, then He will rise up in us and give illumination to our minds and direction to our spirits and health to our bodies, and He will help us in every aspect of life. We can be conscious of His indwelling Presence and power every moment.

REMEMBER:   All the power of Yahweh resides in you in the Holy Spirit.

CONFESSION:   I am a victor. I am more than a conqueror. The Creator dwells in me; the Greater One lives in me. The Person and Power of the Holy Ghost dwells in me. Praise Elohim, He puts me over. He makes me a success. I cannot fail because of Him. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:   I decree the power of the Holy Spirit upon you today to dissolve every challenge in your life now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO GET THE YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH (4): KNOW THE REALITY OF OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN HAMASHIACH

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

II Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)

This area of righteousness is one of the major arsenals of the devil against the faith of most believer in HaMashiach because they lack the understanding of our righteousness in HaMashiach.   Firstly, at new birth, you were born righteous because you took after your father. It is same DNA in your father Yahweh that runs in you. Yahweh is righteous and that nature of righteousness is what you were born with (see 1 Peter 1:23; John 1:13). At new born, you are not trying to be righteous, you are born that way. The challenge for most people is that this nature of righteousness is only in your spirit because man is a spirit which has a soul and lives in a body. Your soul/mind was not born again. Your body was not born again. So without educating your mind with the word of Yahweh and disciplining your body, you can never manifest this righteousness practically (see Romans 12:1-2; I Corinthians 9:27). In the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach you are perfect, righteous and holy. You are complete in Him (see Colossians 2:10). You must educate your mind and discipline your body to conform to this new nature in your spirit. Sometimes, you may fall short but as soon as that happens, confess your sin and fall back in line with that your nature of righteousness.

ROMANS 5:17 says, ‘For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.’ Of course believers are to live right. But, actually, “righteousness” means rightness or right standing. And righteousness is a gift. If you can’t see that, read Romans 5:17 again and let it sink in. Righteousness as a gift is something that is received now. Righteousness as a stage of spiritual development is a fruit of the born again recreated human spirit and it takes time to grow. Other scriptures in the Bible do talk about “the fruits of our righteousness,” but they are referring to the fruit that is a product of our right standing with Yahweh (see Philippians 1:11; 2 Cor. 9:10). Righteousness as a fruit of the born again human spirit is a result of our being vitally connected to the Vine (see John 15:1-8). But if the word “righteousness” referred to in Romans 5:17 was a fruit of the spirit, it would have said, “… and of the FRUIT of righteousness” (see Romans 5:17). In other words, you would have to grow or develop to that place of righteousness. But it doesn’t say that. It says that we receive “the gift of righteousness” (Rom. 5:17). Every one of Yahweh’s dear children has the same righteousness and the same standing with Yahweh because we are in HaMashiach and He is our righteousness.

When you know this, your faith will abound, and your prayers will work. So many people struggle so long in the realm of self-condemnation and, in the process, let the enemy rob them.

REMEMBER:   The knowledge of your righteousness is your backbone and boldness against Satan.

CONFESSION: I am the righteousness of Yahweh in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach.   I was born righteous. It is my nature. I do not sin. The Lord Yahushua HaMashiach is my righteousness and that fuels the fruit of righteousness in my life today and forever. Halleluyah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:   The revelation of your righteous standing with Yahweh overwhelms your spirit-man today in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO GET THE YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH (3): KNOW THE REALITY OF YOUR NEW CREATION STATUS

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away? behold, all things are become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Our redemption has a legal side which is very crucial for you to understand in order to stand in liberty and command of faith. You need to know that in the mind of Justice, we were recreated in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. This means that the justice for sin demands death. When HaMashiach dead, the new creation died in and with the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. In the death of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach on the cross, the demand of Justice was fully satisfied. Halleluyah! That is not the end of the Story. The Lord Yahushua HaMashiach went to hell on our behalf and collected the key that Adam surrendered to Satan back. He was raised up on the third day with Zoe – the Yahweh-kind of life and as many as surrender to Him, He quickens (recreates and gives life) to their spirits.

You should also know the reality of the new birth vitally for yourself. You should know and understand that the moment you accepted the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach as your Saviour and confessed Him as your Lord, you were recreated. That is when the legal act of redemption, which was wrought in Yahushua’ death, burial, and resurrection became a reality in your own life. In the new birth, you have in your spirit the very life and the very nature of Yahweh.   The new birth is not just an experience. It is not a religion, and it is not joining a church. It is the actual rebirth of our spirits. We are the very sons and daughters of Almighty Yahweh. He is our very own Father; we are His very own children. We know that we have passed out of Satan’s dominion – spiritual death – into the realm of life through the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach.   We were born into the family. You cannot join the family; you have to be born into it.

What will be the effects of this knowledge of the reality of the new birth and the new creation? In the new birth, Yahweh becomes your very own Father and you are His very own child. You have as much freedom to fellowship with the Father as Yahushua had in His earthly walk because Yahweh loves you even as He loved Yahushua (see John 17:23). Thank Yahweh, we are begotten of Yahweh. We are born of Yahweh. We are children of Yahweh. We are heirs of Yahweh. We are joint or equal heirs with the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach (see Romans 8:17). We are not magnifying ourselves when we talk about our inheritance in Yahushua; we are magnifying Yahweh and what He has done for us through the Lord the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. We did not make ourselves new creatures; Yahweh made us new creatures. And Yahushua is the Author and the Finisher of our faith (see Hebrews 12:2). Thank Yahweh, we are new creatures created by Yahweh in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach.

REMEMBER:   You are a new creation which empowers you to dominate Sin, Satan and Sickness.

CONFESSION:    I am a new creation in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach an heir of Yahweh and a joint-heir with HaMashiach. I was begotten of Yahweh and a child of His love. No activity of Satan can prosper in my sphere of influence because as He is, so am I in this world. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:    I decree that you be drunk with the knowledge of your new creation status from now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO GET THE YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH (2): KNOW THE REALITY OF OUR REDEMPTION IN HAMASHIACH

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, … 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
I Peter 1:18-19 (KJV)

What is it that makes you a believer in HaMashiach? What is it that makes you different from other people that claim to be calling on Yahweh? The difference is that the believer in HaMashiach is redeemed by the precious blood of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach which was shed on the cross. The Greek word rendered redeemed in our text is ‘lutroo’ meaning to ransom. To ransom is to pay for the release of someone; it is to pay money demanded for the return of a captured person; it is the act of freeing from captivity or punishment. In the Garden of Eden, Adam sold humanity to the captivity of Satan and his agents, then humanity was condemn to hell as the devil. Yahweh came down in the person of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach to redeem man. Having paid in full, you are now redeemed. What are the implications of our redemption? This is very critical for you to understand because it will just automatically put you over the dominion of the devil and his agents. The implications of our redemption includes:
1. Delivered from Satan’s Kingdom and dominion: Colossians 1:13 says, ‘WHO HATH DELIVERED US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” Another translation of verse 12 reads, “. . . which made us ABLE to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light“! Thank Yahweh, we are able to be partakers of our inheritance and we can enter into our inheritance in HaMashiach. Now read verse 13: “Who HATH delivered us from the POWER of darkness. . . .” This verse does not say Yahweh is going to deliver us; it says He has already delivered us when we were born again into Yahweh’s Kingdom. The Greek word translated “power” here means authority. In other words, we could read that scripture, “Who has delivered us from the authority of darkness….” Now that word “darkness” means everything that Satan is – the kingdom of Satan. But in HaMashiach we have been delivered from the power or authority of Satan’s kingdom.
2. 1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20 says, ‘19 What? know ye not that your body is the TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.‘ Here the Bible says not only your spirit, but your body is bought with a price, so glorify Yahweh in your body and in your spirit, which are Yahweh’s. Notice it says, “. . . glorify Yahweh in your body…” (1 Cor. 6:20). That means you are to glorify Yahweh in your body. Does Yahweh get any glory out of the devil dominating you physically with sickness and disease? Could Yahweh get any glory out of a body, which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, being deformed or afflicted by the enemy with sickness or diseases? No, certainly not! The Bible tells us that we have dominion and authority over the devil through the blood of Yahushua, which includes sickness and disease (see John 10:10; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).
REMEMBER: Knowing what redemption offers you is key to operating the highest kind of faith.

CONFESSION: Dear Father, thank You for the precious blood of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach that redeemed me. I walk in the consciousness of my dominion of sin, Satan and sickness. Halleluyah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that today’s truth settles deep down in your spirit causing you to function in a winning faith all the days of your life in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO GET THE YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH (1): KNOW THE INTEGRITY OF YAHWEH’S WORD

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Psalms 138:2 (KJV)

Faith is a function of the knowledge of Yahweh. You cannot exercise faith beyond the level of revelation of the Lord Yahushua that you have. Psalm 9:2 (KJV) says, ‘And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.’ This follows that if you don’t have faith in Yahweh, it is the proof of your bankruptcy of the knowledge of Yahweh. You cannot Know Yahweh and not trust Him. One aspect of the knowledge of Yahweh that helps you to function in highest kind of faith is the knowledge of the integrity of the Word of Yahweh. When we talk about integrity, we talk about the infallibility, unbreakability and reliability of the Word of Yahweh.

The first step necessary to attain the highest kind of faith is to know the integrity of Yahweh’s Word. You must know that Yahweh’s Word is actually what it declares itself to be. The Word of Yahweh is a revelation from Yahweh to us. We should also realize that the Bible is Yahweh speaking to us now – today. The Bible is not only a Book of the past and a Book of the future, but it is a Book of the now. This Book, the Bible, is a Yahweh-breathed, a Yahweh-indwelt, and a Yahweh-inspired message. HEBREWS 4:12 (KJV) says, ‘12 For the word of God is QUICK, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.“ Moffatt’s translation reads, “For the Logos [Word] of God is a living thing. . . .” You see, “quick” means alive or living. And so the Word of Yahweh is a living thing. But it will only come alive to you and work in your life as you accept it and act upon it. Therefore, the first step to attaining the highest kind of faith is to settle on the absolute integrity of Yahweh’s Word. The Word of Yahweh should be of foremost importance in your life. Sometimes folks feel that Yahweh hasn’t spoken to them unless they have received a message in tongues or a prophecy, but Yahweh’s Word – the Bible – is Yahweh speaking to us! And tongues and interpretations or prophecy are not to be put above the holy written Word of Yahweh.

The Word of Yahweh is of foremost importance because it is Yahweh speaking to us. When you settle on that fact, you have gone a long way to understanding faith. There is no need to try and argue about the Word. It is amazing to me how many folks will endeavor to get around certain truths in the Bible or explain them away. But you should always accept the Bible for what it says, and walk in the light of it. Then again, it seems that some folks want the Word to say certain things, so they just sort of read certain things into the Word, whether they are in the Word or not. But we only have the right to believe what the Word says, not what we think it says. You can lean completely on the Yahweh’s Word and go to sleep concerning any area of your life. Shalom!

REMEMBER:   Your faith is at the mercy of your knowing and doing what the Word says.

HOW TO FEED AND EXERCISE YOUR FAITH

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 (KJV)

Many people wonder why they are not growing in faith. Many times, it is because they are not feeding on Yahweh’s Word. Faith will grow by feeding it and exercising it. We feed our faith by reading and meditating on the Word, and by hearing the Word of Yahweh being preached. We exercise faith by being doers of the Word, and not hearers only. James said, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. ..” (James 1:22). Being doers of the Word means that we act on the Word. Simply reading and meditating upon the Word will not build faith. Reading and meditating on the Word will feed your faith and build a capacity for faith, but faith must also be a part of our daily speech. In other words, the Word that you feed on has to be exercised daily. It has to become a part of your daily speech. That word has to become a part of your daily conduct and actions.

As faith grows, Satan’s dominion over us wanes. Circumstances become less formidable and fear is destroyed. Nearly everyone longs for the day when he can be rid of fear; people can have so many fears. Fear does not need to dominate us in life because we have been redeemed from fear. Fear can become a thing of the past. As your faith grows, you begin to possess your rights in HaMashiach. You begin to take a hold of what belongs to you in HaMashiach. You begin to take the things that you only hoped for before. You hoped for money before, but now by faith you have it. If you are sick, you need to confess, “By His stripes I am healed!” But you can’t confess that and confess that you’re still sick at the same time! If you say you are still sick, then you are perhaps agreeing that the Word is still true, but you haven’t acted upon it and received it for yourself in your own life. If you say, “By His stripes I am healed, and, therefore, I’m not sick,” then you are acting upon the Word. You can reach that place of walking in divine health by acting upon Yahweh’s Word.

Let us take a practical case of exercising faith from the ministry of the Lord Yahushua Himself. In Luke 17:12-19, we saw ten leprous men who met Him and asked for mercy. Then the Word came from the Lord Yahushua “Go shew yourselves unto the priests.’ (Verse 14). We said that you exercise your faith by doing the word. These men, as soon as they heard the word of the Lord Yahushua took off to the priests. That is faith, isn’t it? In the same verse, the Word says ‘and it came to pass that as they went they were cleansed.’ You see it is exercising your faith that causes your faith to produce results. You see your response to the word of Yahweh is what determines the result you will go with. Obeying the Bible is not old fashioned. It is the wisdom of triumphs and victory. In very little things, do what the Word says and see how your faith will grow and develop and start securing for you your inheritances in Yahweh. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Feeding your faith on the word and exercising it by obeying instantly what the word says is your guarantee of results with Yahweh.

CONFESSION: I have the faith of Yahweh in my spirit. Therefore, I am what the Word says that I am, I can do what the Word says I can do, and I possess all the Word says I can possess. My faith grows as I feed and exercise it in the Word today and always. Halleluyah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Mind-blowing results shall be the order as you exercise your faith from now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

FEAR IS FAITH IN REVERSE

For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
Job 3:25 (KJV)

In a way, everybody has faith. When you believe and confess things not consistent with scriptures, you have faith in the devil. Faith in the devil is called fear. So fear is simply faith in reverse gear. There is power in faith, in believing. Yahushua told the centurion,” …Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” (see Matthew 8:13). Believing is not something you always like to do, or always feel like doing. It’s a decision you make. Just as faith is a powerful force, there is also a force opposed to faith called fear. Fear is the reverse gear of faith. It is actually faith in the devil. Fear is faith that the wickedness of Satan is superior to the goodness of Yahweh. Fear is faith that Yahweh is helpless in the face of the cruelty of the wicked and that evil is more powerful than good and must occur.

If faith is the substance of things desired, then fear is the substance of things not desired but believed that will happen and Yahweh cannot do anything about it. The reason you fear a thing is because you believe in its manifestation. That’s why you worry. You believe in the manifestation of the thing you worry about; otherwise, you wouldn’t worry. If you don’t control fear or stop it, it will bring the very thing that you don’t desire to manifestation.

Job in our text is a classic example of this. ‘For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.’ (Job 3:25-26). Job practised his fear and greatly feared. Though he was in safety, he didn’t know it. Fear is Satan’s inroad into your life. Yahweh said, “He is in your hands.” Yahweh didn’t put Job there; he was already in the power of the devil because of fear. Fear will also tear your hedge down.

Growing Fear Nullifies Faith. Job said, “The thing I’ve greatly feared has come upon me.” There is no doubt that Job had faith, but he lost faith in his faith. When you speak your fears, they will grow and nullify your faith. You can’t keep the devil from bringing thoughts of doubt and fear to your mind, but those things will die unborn if you don’t speak them. Don’t be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Your words give the enemy the license to operate. You give either Yahweh or the devil the authority to operate by your words. Your words can give Yahweh the ability to move in on your situation in life.

Since faith is the substance of things desired, it seems that fear is the substance of things not desired. So when you talk fear, doubt, and unbelief, you are speaking into existence things you don’t desire. When you first say them, you may not realize the power of your words. But the more you speak it, the more it grips you—the more that force multiplies in you. Just as faith comes by hearing, fear comes by hearing.

REMEMBER:   When you speak your fears, they will grow and nullify your faith.

CONFESSION:     Fear has no place in my heart. I am a person of faith. I believe what the Word says that I am, that I have, that I can do and as I speak them today, my life is transformed into what the Word says to the Glory of the Lord Yahushua.   Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:   I terminate every attack of the spirit of fear in your heart now. I break every bondage of fear in your heart now. You foul spirit of fear, loose your grip out of this life now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

FAITH AND WORK: ANY CONFLICT?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:20 (KJV)

Romans 3:27-28 (BBE) says, ‘What reason, then, is there for pride? It is shut out. By what sort of law? of works? No, but by a law of faith.   For this reason, then, a man may get righteousness by faith without the works of the law.’ Apostle Paul is saying that you don’t need the works of the law to emerge the righteousness of Yahweh in HaMashiach. That the works of the law cannot get you saved, only faith in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach can. James 2:26 (NET) says, ‘For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.’ Apostle James is saying that if your faith in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach does not produce good works, that your faith is dead. Now, the question is: Is there a conflict between the view of Apostle Paul and Apostle James? The answer is emphatically NO. There is no conflict whatsoever between the views of these Apostles. They are saying two different things and it is important you understand it.

Apostle Paul was addressing a false teaching that faith in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach alone was not enough for salvation, that you must have to observe the law otherwise you couldn’t be saved. The teachers of these falsehood were insisting that new believers be circumcised and observe the law otherwise they are not saved. But the works of the law cannot save anybody. If it could, then there wouldn’t have been need for the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach to come and die. No person can be saved by observing the law. Observing the law is good because the law is the commandment of Yahweh but it is grossly impotent in securing salvation for humanity. If you want to be saved, the only way is to believe in the sacrifice of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach and receive Him into your spirit/heart by confessing Him as Lord and Saviour. As simple as this is, it is the only way to be saved.

Apostle James on the other hand was addressing high-handedness of some believers whose faith is only by mouth, without works of mercy and compassion. The truth is that if you are truly born again, the love of the brethren must be in your heart. If your heart is devoid of that love and compassion, your faith is dead, you haven’t met with the Lord at all. James 2:15-17 (NET) says, ‘15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacks daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, what good is it? 17 So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.’ The works here are the works that show that you believe not the works that will secure salvation for you. You already have salvation. This is called ‘the works of faith’. It is working in obedience to the word because you believe the one who said it. So, there is no conflict between the two concepts. Let me ask you, does the faith you claim to have in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach produce good works (See Ephesians 2:10)? Selah!

REMEMBER:   Genuine faith powers good works.

PRAYER:   Dear Father, thank You for Your word to me today. Help me to be mindful to do good to my family, brethren and neighbours in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:    Today marks the end of every form of hard-heartedness. Your life shall be characterised with good works in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR FAITH (2): ACT ON THE WORD

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
Luke 17:14 (KJV)

Faith is not a mystery. Faith is responding in obedience to the Word of the Lord – the Bible. Stop struggling to believe; just behave the Word and you commit the one that spoke it to perform. Do you know Yahweh has exalted his Word above all His name? Psalm 138:2 says, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”. One of the things that cannot fail in life is the Word of Yahweh – the Bible. If you can find what is written and act on it, you can rewrite your story. As a believer, you are not helpless and powerless. Faith is the force that makes the almightiness of Yahweh available at your instance. The process of producing proofs is get what is written, activate it by speaking to yourself, devil and Yahweh, receive it by acting out your side of the deal. Every word of Yahweh gives you opportunity of a response.

Ten leprous men came to Yahushua and from a distance shouted to Him, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.’(Luke 17:13 KJV). In His compassion, The Lord Yahushua responded, ‘Go show yourselves to the priests’. What they do with that instruction was going to determine the outcome they would have from their encounter with the Lord Yahushua. Are you sick? What is that request you have been making to the Lord? The link to your manifestation is your response to the Word. The Bible says, ‘and it came to pass, that as they went, they were cleansed.’ This is something to shout about! As they went, they were cleansed. Acting on the Word, always produces what the Word talks about.   When we act on Yahweh’s Word, that’s faith. And when we’re in faith, we will receive answers to prayer. If we fail to act on Yahweh’s Word, just waiting for something to come to us first before we’ll believe, we will not receive what we need from Yahweh.

Naaman, the Syrian captain would have missed his miracle by refusing to act on the Word of Yahweh as spoken to him by Elisha, the same way many today are arguing and negotiating with the Word of Yahweh. Acting on the Word to prove that you believe Yahweh is a universal principle of faith without which, the power of Yahweh can never manifest for the benefit of man. In II Kings 5:10 (KJV), ‘And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.’ Whatever makes you angry at the Word of Yahweh from the Bible or spoken to you from the Spirit of Yahweh by a man of Yahweh, is gunning to depriving you of your testimony. After being convinced by his servants, Naaman went as instructed and came back with a miracle. Friend, your miracle is obedience to the word away. If you really know, you will act.

REMEMBER:   The miracles of Yahweh are at the mercy of the obedience of faith of man.

CONFESSION:    I am a doer of the Word. I am quick to respond to the word. I am a word addict. I am established in the Word of faith with appropriate response that commands instant manifestation of the power and glory of Yahweh for me in all areas of my life. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:    Grace to act on the Word in obedience is released now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
