    THANKFUL FOR JULY 2026

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
    Colossians 1:12 (BBE)

Here at #WordForTodayDevotional, we devote the last day of every month as our thanksgiving day where we celebrate the grace of Yahweh that has seen us through the month. We do not take for granted the mercies of the Lord from the first of the month to today the thirty-first. We have had a bath of the Word of righteousness and holiness this month and we owe the Lord thanks. What is thanksgiving and what does it hold for the believer? Thanksgiving is realizing the grace and mercy of Yahweh upon our lives and returning to Him with praise, giving Him glory. Thanksgiving is returning to the Lord with a loud voice giving Him glory for the goodness and mercy we have seen. Thanksgiving is appreciating Yahweh for who He is, a great God, a merciful God, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love (see Exodus 34:6; Deuteronomy 10:17). Thanksgiving is knowing that the Lord is the source of whatever blessing we have experienced and returning to the Lord with joy, gratitude, praise and worship, giving Him glory.

Beloved, the Lord is waiting for you to return with thanksgiving before you can see the next level. Whatever blessing you have now can be perfected but that is only if you agree to return with thanksgiving. Luke 17:17-18 says, ‘17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.’ Your complaining is the reason things are still complicated in your life. Your murmuring is what has been responsible in dragging your destiny to the mud. Your grumbling is the one factor that is causing your destiny to groove in darkness without any ray of light at the end of the tunnel. Would you not repent today and know that not to return with thanksgiving is shooting yourself on the foot. So, one benefit of returning with thanksgiving is perfection of blessing. When the man healed of leprosy returned with a loud voice, the Lord Jesus said to him, “Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” (see Luke 17:19).

Another benefit of returning with thanksgiving and praise is divine presence. Your thanksgiving is the gateway to the presence of Yahweh. Psalms 100:4 says, ‘Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.’ So if you are the person that is given to returning to the Lord with thanksgiving, you will never lack His presence in your life. When the presence of Yahweh is with you, the sea of life will see you and flee, the mountains will skip like rams and hills like lambs (see Psalms 114:3). You will literally know no barrier in life. Your life will enter autopilot of success and blessings. That shall be your portion from now!

REMEMBER: It is righteousness to return with thanksgiving and praise to Yahweh.

THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, we are not worthy of the least of Your mercies. What shall we say for bringing us to the end of this great month, no loss, no tears, we saw goodness and mercies, abundance of blessings in front and at the back. Thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for the continuous flow of Your Word on this platform. Thank You for Your preservation, provision and supplies. Thank You for encounter with the Spirit of holiness this month. To You alone be all the glory in the Name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Having returned with thanksgiving today, I declare that everything with your name on it still hanging be released now. There shall be no carry-over of July releases in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    WHAT RIGHTEOUSNESS OFFERS (2): BEAUTY

The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
    Isaiah 60:13 (KJV)

The place of Yahweh’s sanctuary is a beautiful place. It is made for glory and for beauty. It means that anyone that dwells around that region enjoys beauty and colour in their lives. Holiness is colourful and beautiful. Sin stinks. Adam was created a beauty to behold. His life was full of colour and glory. But as soon as sin arrives, Adam became naked. How beautiful is nakedness? Nobody on their right mind advertises nakedness. It is shameful to be naked. Purity gives birth to beauty. Nothing glorifies and beautifies like holiness. When the Church will rise in holiness and righteousness, there shall be beauty, heaven-decked beauty upon Zion. When we come to that point that men take covenant oaths, “If I perish, I perish, but I will live for the truth!” then we have arrived at the chores of the beauty and glory realms of the Church. Purity is the mother of beauty. Psalms 149:4 says, “He will beautify the meek with salvation.” What is salvation? Referring to the Lord Yahushua in Matthew 1:21, the Word says, “He shall save his people from their sins.” That means your beauty, true colour, and covenant colour emerges only when you are saved from sin. That is when your dominion and authority over sin is established, only then will your true beauty emerge. When sin goes, colour is established. I see your beauty emerging in a most powerful way!

It is also important for us to understand that when beauty arrives, envy arrives with it. As your life becomes attractive by the glory of the Lord upon you, it will provoke persecutions. 2 Timothy 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” With every lifting and beauty comes persecutions, but I’d like you to know that Yahweh’s faithfulness is stronger than any attack that the quest for righteousness may bring your way. I defined persecution as, “a display of emotional displeasure, which leads to unjust treatment borne out of hatred, bitterness, envy, misgivings, etc.” It is the heritage of the front liners. Naturally, the seed of the bondwoman is on a commission to persecute the child of promise. So when you are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, Yahweh is giving you a signal of lifting from heaven.

As you begin and continue on this journey of holiness, be rest assured that plenty of mockeries will come from wayfaring Christians, the ones who are not going anywhere. They are wayfaring because they just stand on the way. They are the seeds by the way side, so the birds will soon come and pick them up. You must allow those who are behind you to do their job: to see your back and both talk at your back and bite it. Therefore, everyone who wants the blessings must automatically want the persecutions as well—that is, the lies, the mockeries, the slanders, the castigations, etc. If you don’t know that these things are there, you will be tired. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Your beauty lies in righteousness.

CONFESSION: I am like a city set upon the hills that cannot be hid. The beauty of the Lord is upon me. My life is colourful! Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: As you walk in righteousness, I release you into beauty and colour from now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT RIGHTEOUSNESS OFFERS (1): PROSPERITY, PROMOTIONS AND HONOUR

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
    Proverbs 14:34 (KJV)

Proverbs 14:23 says that in all labour there is profit. There are unquantifiable profits in labouring to live a holy and righteous life. Apart from the other benefits, you also enjoy divine presence continually because you are standing on the right foundation. Whereas sin brings a curse, righteousness brings blessings. Righteousness causes you to be planted in the very presence of Yahweh which guarantees your flourishing. Psalms 92:12 says, “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” No matter the drought in the land, the righteous shall flourish; his leaves will remain green. Just as Job flourished by righteousness, everyone that practises righteousness will flourish. Uprightness takes up. That was the testimony of Job. Job 1:1-3 says, “1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.” Righteousness was the reason for the height Job attained. Evil must die in your life, so the glory that Yahweh has mapped out for you will come out. Job became the greatest man in the land not through crookedness or perverseness, but through uprightness and godly perfection. He was scared of evil; he never touched it.

That he avoided evil suggests that he was living in the days of evil, but never partook of it. Instead, he became the greatest man in the east! Righteousness announces promotions for the righteous. Who is righteous? Whosoever does righteousness is righteous. Joseph fled from sin. But his trouble became his triumph, as the prison yard became his palace. Even in the prison, he prospered! Righteousness holds a guarantee for your prosperity. All those I read about in my Bible that lived righteous lives were honoured. Potiphar’s wife would have ended Joseph’s ministry as a steward, but righteousness paved a way for him to the throne. The king’s rich food would have defiled Daniel and made him remain a mere civil servant in that country, but righteousness exalted him. He wouldn’t deny his Yahweh. No, not even in the face of death! He walked gallantly into the den of lions, and righteousness preserved him (see Proverbs 11:3)! He ended up in the high places of the government of his time! Honour has its root in righteousness.

Righteousness causes men to shine as stars. If you truly desire honour, then wisdom demands that you also desire righteousness with a greater intensity. Selah!

REMEMBER: Prosperity, promotion and honour are all rooted in righteousness.

CONFESSION: I am labouring to walk by the Word and in righteousness. I am a prosperity entity on earth. The honour of the Lord is upon me. Glory be His Holy Name forever!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree a turnaround for you now into the realms of prosperity, promotions and honour as you align with righteousness in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT BRINGS THE FEAR OF YAHWEH

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
    Psalms 9:10 (KJV)

The fear of Yahweh comes from the knowledge of Yahweh, which is from knowing Yahweh. The Bible tells us that the beginning of wisdom and knowledge is the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” As Yahweh’s presence is revealed to us physically and spiritually we stand in awesome respect of His power and majesty. The children of Israel had an encounter with Yahweh that made an impression on them at Mount Sinai. Exodus 19:17-19 says, “17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. 19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

In Yahweh’s presence the people were terrified, but Moses explained that this was good for them. Yahweh had revealed a small portion of His power to them so that the fear of Yahweh would be with them to keep them from sinning. Exodus 20:18-20 says, “18 ¶And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

The greater our knowledge of Yahweh the greater our love will be for Him, and the greater our fear (awesome respect) of Him will be also. The prophet Isaiah had an encounter with Yahweh that changed his life. Isaiah 6:1-5 says, “1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 ¶Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” In the revelation of Yahweh’s light and glory even our slightest shortcomings are revealed which causes us to immediately repent. Notice that Isaiah even felt contaminated by the sin of the people that he had been with, when he stood before Yahweh.

REMEMBER: It takes the intimate knowledge of Yahweh to fear Him.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask that You reveal Yourself to me Father like You did to Moses in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened now to know Yahweh in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

BENEFITS OF THE FEAR OF YAHWEH

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
    Psalms 128:1 (KJV)

What are the benefits of living a lifestyle of the fear of Yahweh? Why should I live with this trembling before the Lord as a lifestyle? The treasures of the Kingdom is rooted in the fear of the Lord. Without the fear of the Lord, you have no chance with Yahweh. So, all the good things of life answers to the fear of the Lord in you. Firstly, according to our opening texts, the blessings of the Lord are only for those that fear Him (see Psalms 128:1-6). That blessing includes: a. That you labour and eat the labour of your hands. There are people labouring but others are eating it in the name of sickness or diseases or one case or the other. Psalms 128:2 says, “For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.” When you walk in the fear of the Lord, no devil can tamper with the labour of your hands. b. The fear of the Lord makes you a happy person. It ensures that the happenings in your life are those that bring you joy. No matter what the devil brings your way, it eventually ends in glory and in your favour. c. That it is well with you. This means that you enjoy good, beauty, better, bounty and prosperity. No evil occurrence. No activities of the enemy around you. d. That you are settled in marriage. No matter the curse of marital delay working in your family, the fear of the Lord ensures that you are settled gloriously and covenantly in marriage. Not just that, it guarantees your fruitfulness. No form of barrenness. Psalms 128:3 says, “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.”

Secondly, the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Psalms 111:10 (NASB) says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.” Proverbs 24:3 says, “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:” Every enviable life is a function of Wisdom. Everything that is built that is commanding attention is the work of Wisdom. It takes Wisdom for you to experience wholeness in your life. That is a situation that your spiritual life is fantastic, your finances are a wow, your marriage is heaven on earth, your children are epitome of excellence and virtue, your health is sound and bouncing. That is what we mean when we talk about being whole or experiencing wholeness. You cannot smell wholeness without the building force of Divine Wisdom and you cannot access this Divine Wisdom without the fear of the Lord actively at work in your life. Job 28:28 says, “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

For space, let us conclude by saying that the ball is now in your court. Selah!

REMEMBER: The Fear of the Lord is the secret of divine treasures and blessings.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I connect to the treasures of heaven and the blessings thereof by walking in the fear of the Lord from now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: An end has come to every curse working against your life and destiny today in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • THE FEAR OF YAHWEH (B)

    THE FEAR OF YAHWEH (B)

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
    Acts 9:31 (KJV)

We are continuing from yesterday. We are looking at what the fear of the Lord really means. Firstly, we said that it is not figurative. Secondly, the Fear of the Lord is to understand Yahweh to the extent that you literally tremble in conducting your affairs as a person. What do you understand that evoke this fear? His Person, that Yahweh is not a player or joker. His holiness – that there is no unrighteousness with Him. His Position on sin – anything that goes contrary to His Word is sin and it is regarded as rebellion. His judgments – you see how He dealt with people that sinned before to determine your fate with Him. His justice – that he does not respect persons. Whatever you are makes absolutely no meaning with the Lord. II Chronicles 19:7 “Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

Thirdly, the fear of the Lord means to be in love with Yahweh in that dimension that your greatest dread in life is to displease Him. In conducting your affairs your greatest caution is the pleasure of the Lord your love. Deuteronomy 13:4 “Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.” This means to develop a heart that longs and yearns for only the pleasure of the Lord in ones life. This is the singular factor that gave David a place in Yahweh’s heart. Deuteronomy 10:12 “And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Fifthly, the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Proverbs 8:13 “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” Whatever that the Word call evil is evil, no matter who thinks otherwise. A few of them include, pride and arrogance, the froward mouth (Hebrew tahpukah meaning perverse or fraud). Dictionary defines perverse as: a. Marked by a disposition to oppose and contradict. b. Resistant to guidance or discipline. c. Deviating from what is considered moral or right or proper or good. The Father hates a froward perverse mouth. It is evil before Him. In these last days evil will be on rampage (see II Timothy 3:1-5). You don’t only hate evil, but you also hate evil in the lives of people; you don’t go on cheering evil. Psalms 139:21-22 “21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.” If you are at peace and at home with evil in the lives of people around you, that is a clear indication that the fear of the Lord is not active in your life. Selah!

REMEMBER: The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.

CONFESSION: I am walking by the Word. I am walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit and I am seeing multiplication in all realms. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree hatred for evil upon your spirit-man today in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    THE FEAR OF YAHWEH (A)

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men? …
    II Corinthians 5:11 (KJV)

One of the things that is missing in the Church of nowadays is the fear of the Lord. The first thing to establish today is that there is no Old testament Yahweh and another New testament Yahweh. Another thing to note is that Grace is more grave than the law. It only gives you more rope to repent but it is just as grave and even more than the law. That is why you must understand that the same Yahweh in the Old testament that drove Adam and Eve from Eden (see Genesis 3:23-24); that cursed the ground for man (see Genesis 3:17-19); that razed down the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (see Genesis 19:24); that drown the whole earth of those days in flood and wiped them out (see Genesis 7:21-24); that wasted Pharaoh and his army in the red sea (see Genesis 14:28); that though He delivered the people from Egypt, wasted those that believe not in the wilderness (see Numbers 32:13); that though he swore a covenant to Israel, destroyed Israel and took them away in captivity according to His Word by His prophets (see I Chronicles 6:15); that though He loved the Son, looked away when He bore the sins of the world (see Mark 15:34); is still the same Yahweh you are dealing with today. He hates sin!!!!!!! He hates rebellion against His Word. Beloved, why did the Lord Yahushua come? It was because of sin and its consequences. How then do you think that you can receive eternal life and continue in sin? How then do you think that coming to Church is enough even though you continue to wallow in iniquity? You cannot be living in heaven and with the Lord Yahushua in the heavenly places and still be living a lifestyle of hell and Satan as your director. Impossible!

I am afraid for the believers of this generation. We do not know who Yahweh is. When Hebrews 12:29 says that Yahweh is a consuming fire, please it is not a figurative expression. It is just as it said it that it is. What then is the fear of Yahweh?

Firstly, it is actual fear not figurative. It is being completely overwhelmed by your thoughts of Yahweh to the point of shaking, quaking and frightened of Yahweh. Yes, it means to be afraid and scared of Yahweh and all that He represents, His Holiness, His justice, His personality, His wrath. Exodus 19:16 says, “And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.” This is the “shaken-to-the-core” kind of fear. See Deuteronomy 5:24-29. The Lord commends this kind of fear. That is really what the Fear of Yahweh means. Deuteronomy 5:28-29 says, “28 And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. 29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

REMEMBER: The fear of Yahweh is actual fear – a shaken-to-the-core kind of fear.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I ask for the grace to fear You in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Every programming to cut your life short backfires today. Receive grace to fear Yahweh now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    CONFORM TO YAHWEH’S HOLINESS

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing? and I will receive you,
    II Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)

Man is a creation of choice. There is nothing Yahweh forces upon the human. As much as His love is towards us, He does not force Himself on us. He does not force anyone to arrive to Him in heaven or to depart to hell. Where any of us finally lands will ultimately be our individual choices. He made you holy at the beginning, at creation but man made a choice to side with Satan and acquire his nature. Now, eternal life has arrived in the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach and it is still a matter of choice. Each one of us must decide what to do with the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach and that decision determines each one’s eternity. Next to that decision is a choice to bring out conducts or fruits in line with the Word; to live out the virtues of eternal life to the world around us. This is a choice that everyone of us must make. And this choice will determine the final destination of each one’s soul. Yahweh is Holy and there is nothing unholy that can enter into His kingdom. Having been washed by the precious blood of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach, should we go back to our vomit, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. Hebrews 10:26 says, “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

There is a clarion call today for each one of us to make a choice to conform to Yahweh’s holiness. There is a call for us to give the eternal life we have received expression. You cannot carry eternal life to cheat in your office just to corner some money. You cannot carry eternal life; that very life of Yahweh to meet that lady in that hotel room for immorality and still expect to go to heaven. There is a call for us to make a choice where we really want to spend eternity and conform to that standard. Matthew 7:13-14 says, “13 ¶Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” The way that leads to life is narrow. That means that it does not permit us to do just anything that we want on that road. You cannot satisfy the lust of your flesh and still remain on that narrow road. You are on the narrow road on Yahweh’s standard and fulfilling the Word in your life. On the other side, the broad way is wide enough to carry all manner of self indulgences. The irony of the matter is that some people claim to have confessed Yahushua as Lord and Saviour but they are on the broad way.

Beloved, this is a matter of choice. Are you going to conform to Yahweh’s holiness or will you continue in the lifestyle of sin and unrighteousness? Time is running out!

REMEMBER: Eternal life in you is holy, live it out.

CONFESSION: I refuse to allow sin reign in my life. I make a choice to live out eternal life that is in me. I shall never be floored by Satan. Thank You Lord!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: The mind of HaMashiach comes alive and into operation in your life from this day in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    THREATS TO HOLINESS (B)

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
    I Corinthians 3:19 (KJV)

We began yesterday discussing the threats to holiness. Yahweh is perfect; He lacks nothing. Yahweh is holy; He is set apart and wholly separate from sin. As with many of Yahweh’s attributes, He desires to communicate perfection and holiness to His creation. So He did. Lucifer, an angel of Yahweh, did not get enough of Yahweh’s perfection and holiness. He wanted it all. He rebelled against Yahweh and lost all of what Yahweh gave him. He became Yahweh’s nemesis – renamed Satan. Ever since, Satan wishes for holiness’s ruin. He elicited the fall of Adam and Eve, depriving them of holiness. He continues on his rampage against holiness. He wants our help; he wants co-conspirators. And humanity is altogether too quick to comply, but that’s our nature because of the fall. We have discussed the threats of relativism, tolerance and liberty. Let’s continue with contextualization and legalism.

Contextualization. In Yahweh’s quest to rescue holiness, He selected Israel as a light to the nations. He made this people holy. Yahweh gave Israel a charge to be separate from other nations. By doing so, other nations would look to Israel and find Yahweh attractive. Israel failed. This rescue initiative continues with the Church. The Church is meant to be a wholly set apart people testifying to Yahweh’s holiness. This is accomplished through the church’s union to HaMashiach, who fulfilled all Israel ought to be. Contextualization is when Yahweh’s holy people relate to their context. They connect to their context in meaningful ways. Contextualization is tricky. Yahweh’s people should contextualize without jeopardizing holiness. Our enemy wishes to see contextualization abused. 1 Corinthians 9:22 says, “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” Unfortunately, false teachers use this text to abuse contextualization, giving license to liberty. Yahweh rescues holiness from contextualization’s ruin by what He says earlier in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 he says, “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” Our union with HaMashiach gifts us with the Holy Spirit making us Yahweh’s temple. False teachers abusing contextualization beware!

Legalism: The flip side of liberty is legalism. Legalism has two parts. Legalism is not attempting to keep the law of Yahweh. It’s assuming we can keep it. Furthermore, legalism says Yahweh’s acceptance is found in keeping Yahweh’s law. Impossible! If that were the case, Yahweh’s grace in HaMashiach’s death, resurrection and all the implications is nullified (see Galatians 2:19-21). Legalism is also when people make new laws, parade them as Yahweh’s law and expect others to keep those laws. Often these new laws are conceived to protect from sin’s temptation or effect. Legalism is often sown from fear. Worse, people believe that Yahweh’s acceptance depends on these fabricated laws of men. Legalism restricts faith. Legalism is a tragic ruin to holiness because it restricts other attributes of Yahweh like beauty, creativity or power. Legalism restricts love. Yahweh rescues holiness from legalism’s ruin with faith and love. This is accomplished by Yahweh’s faithfulness and Yahweh’s love through the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach (see Revelation 1:4-6; Galatians 3:11, 14).

REMEMBER: It is only Yahweh’s Word that is trustworthy.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. Every trace of legalism and syncretism dies in me now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that your heart be stabilized in the Word now in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    THREATS TO HOLINESS (A)

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive?
    Ephesians 4:14 (KJV)

Satan is the architect of sin. When Yahweh made man, He communicated His Spirit to man which had all the attributes of Yahweh. So, man was a holy and perfect being at creation. Lucifer, an angel of Yahweh’s, did not get enough of Yahweh’s perfection and holiness. Yahweh’s enemy employs five methods to ruin holiness: relativism, tolerance, liberty, contextualization and legalism.

Relativism conveys that there are no absolutes. This perspective legitimises innumerable truths contradicting one another. Relativism ruins holiness because there is no longer a supreme authority. One is not wholly other. Satan deceives people into thinking multiple acceptable authorities exist. Ironically, all options outside of Yahweh point to Satan. He is the only other authority people submit to. Yahweh rescues holiness from relativism’s ruin by what He says in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Tolerance. Relativism leads to tolerance. If you do not accept multiple world-views, you must be intolerant, leading to the intolerance of intolerance. If you tolerate multiple world-views and authorities, holiness is diluted as Yahweh’s glory is shared. Yahweh cannot be altogether wholly other because He shares his holiness with other world-views and authorities, diminishing his glory. Yahweh rescues holiness from tolerance’s ruin by what He says in Isaiah 48:11, “My glory I will not give to another.

Liberty, otherwise known as antinomianism (against law), says that Yahweh’s law is entirely abolished by grace. Humanity is no longer expected to cherish and keep Yahweh’s law. This makes way for license to abuse grace. Our enemy would like to see grace abused. Where relativism dilutes holiness, liberty dirties holiness. Liberty is fostered by foolishness. Yahweh rescues holiness from liberty’s ruin by what He says in Romans 7:12, “So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.” Though we are incapable of keeping Yahweh’s law, it does not mean that we should not long to keep it. Here we are prone to ruin holiness with another abuse.

REMEMBER: Beware of every wind of doctrine that water the Word down.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I receive the grace to walk in the highest realm of holiness in my life in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Your struggle against sin and iniquity is over today. Receive grace to function in holiness where sin is no longer mentioned in and around you in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
