PARTNERING WITH THE LORD INVOLVES (6): LIVING OUT THE GOSPEL

Then, even if some are disobedient to the word, they will be won over without a word by the way you live, when they see your pure and reverent conduct.

Everyone of us has the privilege to live out the gospel in our day to day operations. With most people that are close to you, lifestyle evangelism is normally the most effective. It is normally a contradiction when you see one that is vocal about the gospel but whose lifestyle is directly the opposite. There is nothing that turns off children than to see parents that proclaim the gospel in words but their lifestyle at home is opposite the gospel. This is the reason so many children from Christian homes turn away from the Lord as soon as they left home. You have parents that are Christians in the Church but devils at home. No matter what you tell children, what they see you doing is what they are going to imbibe. Lifestyle evangelism is so critical at home, office and with close associates. People that relate with you on a daily bases will be drawn to the Lord more with your lifestyle than with words. When you have shown Christ-like character, it is easy to preach and be heard. So, as a Christian, your lifestyle is critical to the success of the gospel in your sphere of contacts. Your colleagues are watching you. You cannot take bribe, lie and cheat and then turn around to preach Yahushua to them. It is not possible to take such a person seriously. You will regard the person as a religious fanatics. But when someone has challenged you with a solid life of integrity, and the person talks to you about Yahushua, you are quick to listen.

THE ONLY REMEDY – THE GOSPEL

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 3:36 [KJV]

Genesis chapters 3 shows us the fall of man. The consequence of that fall amongst other things was inheriting the destiny of damnation of the devil. If the devil is your lord, then you would be where your lord ends up. Isn’t that logical? Same is true if the Lord Yahushua is your Lord, then wherever He is, is where you will be also (see John 14:3). The fall of man condemned man to the lake of fire at the end of the age and in the interim to hell. Humanity’s condemnation to the lake of fire has nothing to do essentially to the sin of each individual. It has everything to do with the nature that humanity inherited from Adam. If it is possible to find one adult that is sinless, that human will still land in hell because he/she is a human being created with the nature of sin. This is very important for those who are very conscious of their self righteousness. There are those who believe that they are not sinners because they are not committing any known sin to them, but the fact that they were born by the coming together of a man and a woman has implicated them to the same condemnation of sinners. But the reality is that all have sinned (see Romans 3:23).

Happy New Month Beloved! Welcome to the month of April 2023, the first month of the second quarter of the year of the #DependableYahweh. It is vital for me to remind you today that we serve a God who does not lie and who cannot lie. What He says, He does. So success in life is discovering what Yahweh is doing and becoming a partner with Him. You would not need to fight or struggle because Yahweh’s agenda is completely out of the reach of all resisting forces of hell. I believe that you are already baptised with the Spirit of faith that makes you more than a conqueror in life. To Yahweh alone be all the glory.

THE SPIRIT OF FAITH

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
II Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)

There is the spirit of Faith. The spirit of faith is a speaking spirit that enables you to speak the word of Yahweh before any situation. The spirit of faith empowers you to say what is written in spite of the happenings. The spirit of faith is faith operating from your spirit. It is faith irrespective of the climate insisting for a turnaround and not repudiating until it is delivered. There is a difference between the word of Faith and the Spirit of Faith. The Word of Faith gives you light to enable you act on it. The Spirit of Faith moves you to act on the word. The Spirit drives you (see Mark 1:12). When the spirit of Faith is in operation, reasoning is deactivated. The Spirit of Faith drives you to achieve the purpose of Yahweh and will not stop until it is achieved. In Numbers chapters 13 and 14, we saw the story of the twelve spies sent by Moses and their report. All twelve of them saw the same thing, but they reported differently. What was the difference? In Numbers 14:24 says, ‘But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.’ That another spirit is the spirit of faith. From this story, let us briefly outline what the spirit of offers:

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
Acts 24:16 (KJV)

To wrap up on conscience, we are going to see how that it takes exercising your conscience to maintain a Good Conscience. A good conscience is exercised. Paul told Felix that in our text. Our conscience, like our muscles, must be exercised. If our conscience lies dormant and is not exercised, then it becomes an evil conscience. Hebrews 5:13,14 describes this: “For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

HOW TO PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK (1): BY CONFESSION

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

There is the law of faith that you must learn today. This law of faith states that CONFESSION OF THE PROMISES OF YAHWEH COMES BEFORE POSSESSION OF THE PROMISES. We must learn this law if we are going to be successful. I boldly declare and confess Yahweh’s Word, then and only then do I possess the promised blessing or benefit. I make my lips do the work. I give the Word its place. I take sides with the Word. If I side in with the disease and pain, there is no healing for me. But I repudiate the disease and the sickness with my words, which are an expression of my faith in Yahweh’s Word. My confession gives me possession.

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (3): BY KNOWING THE REALITY OF YOUR NEW CREATION STATUS

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away? behold, all things are become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Our redemption has a legal side which is very crucial for you to understand in order to stand in liberty and command of faith. You need to know that in the mind of Justice, we were recreated in Yahushua HaMashiach. This means that the justice for sin demands death. When HaMashiach died, the new creation died in and with Yahushua HaMashiach. In the death of Yahushua HaMashiach on the cross, the demand of Justice was fully satisfied. Halleluyah! That is not the end of the Story. Yahushua HaMashiach went to hell on our behalf and collected the key that Adam surrendered to Satan back. He was raised up on the third day with Zoe – the Yahweh-kind of life and as many as surrender to Him, He quickens (recreates and gives life) to their spirits.

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (2): BY KNOWING THE REALITY OF OUR REDEMPTION

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, … 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
I Peter 1:18-19 (KJV)

What is it that makes you a believer in HaMashiach? What is it that makes you different from other people that claim to be calling on Yahweh? The difference is that the believer in HaMashiach is redeemed by the precious blood of Yahushua HaMashiach which was shed on the cross. The Greek word rendered redeemed in our text is ‘lutroo’ meaning to ransom. To ransom is to pay for the release of someone; it is to pay money demanded for the return of a captured person; it is the act of freeing from captivity or punishment. In the Garden of Eden, Adam sold humanity to the captivity of Satan and his agents, then humanity was condemn to hell as the devil. Yahweh came down in the person of Yahushua HaMashiach to redeem man. Having paid in full, you are now redeemed. What are the implications of our redemption? This is very critical for you to understand because it will just automatically put you over the dominion of the devil and his agents. The implications of our redemption includes:

FAITH IN WHAT? (1)

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

We live in a world where you are encouraged to believe in yourself. Self-confidence or self-reliance is not to be reckoned with here. Our faith is in Yahweh, our Elohim, El-Shaddai, Adonai. Have faith in Yahweh our Master told us in our opening text. Come to the point of total confidence in Yahweh; total reliance in His Word and complete abandonment to His will and purpose for your life. Yahweh does not want you to trust in yourself. II Corinthians 1:9 (KJV) says, ‘But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:’ Yahweh want to be your sufficiency. II Corinthians 3:5 (KJV) says, ‘Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;’ All these self-confidence motivation is an attempt by Satan to bankrupt your faith, don’t subscribe to it. Jeremiah 10:23 (KJV) says, ‘O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.’
