THANKFUL FOR APRIL 2023

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Colossians 4:2 [KJV]

Here at #WordForTodayDevotional, we devote the last day of every month as our thanksgiving day where we celebrate the grace of Yahweh that has seen us through the month. We do not take for granted the mercies of the Lord from the first of the month to today the thirtieth. What is thanksgiving and what does it hold for the believer especially in ensuring success in soul-winning? First of all, we are appreciating Yahweh for the privilege of salvation. The greatest thing that can happen to man in this side of eternity is salvation. To be saved is the greatest mercy we can receive from the Lord and for that we owe Him thanks. Come to think of it, without salvation where would you be today? If the author is to be alive today without salvation, then his life would have been such that he cannot be proud of. But see what the Lord has done that today we are saved, and sent as instrument to save others. Father, we thank You for the privilege of salvation. We are enjoying good health, providence, supernatural supplies and preservation all because of salvation. We are living in zero fear, praising the Lord all the way just because we are saved. We cannot appreciate you enough for this wonderful miracle of salvation.

Our opening text says that we should watch with thanksgiving. Do you understand that? Do you remember that we discussed intensive intercession as one way to prepare the ground of the heart of the unsaved soul? Our opening text is saying that as you pray intensely in intercession, that you should keep awake with thanksgiving. That means that intercession no matter how intense is not enough to win the soul, if the ingredient of thanksgiving is not involved. You must be vigilant to thank Yahweh for the salvation of that soul you are praying for as intensely as you interceded. This is a breaking point in seeing that the soul is rescued. You must watch (that is keep awake) with thanksgiving. This is to underscore the importance of thanksgiving in winning spiritual battles. No spiritual battle can ever be won without intense thanksgiving. As intensely as you interceded, you must also thank Yahweh for the victory to ever see it in reality.

Thanksgiving is also instrumental to the preservation of the souls in the local Church. Whatever you thank Yahweh for is preserved, so as you begin to thank Yahweh for preserving the soul in the local Church, He ensures that the soul never draws back. We saw in Malachi 2:1-2, Yahweh threatening to curse the blessing in the lives of the priests because they refused to return with thanksgiving. Whatever success we experience in the harvest field is not because of eloquence or wisdom but it was entirely the grace of Yahweh and the work of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we must promptly always return with thanksgiving giving Yahweh all the glory! This is very important to preserving whatever gain we made in the harvest field. What Yahweh has done for you is only preserved in returning to Him with quality and quantity thanksgiving. Do that today and make it a lifestyle. Both in your personal life and your soul-winning drive, always know that it is not your power but the help of Yahweh and be quick to return with thanksgiving. You shall continue to grow and see more grace for greater heights in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

REMEMBER: It takes intense thanksgiving to win the harvest field.

THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, we are not worthy of the least of your mercies. What shall we say for taking us through the whole month of April 2023, no loss, no tears, we saw goodness and mercies, abundance of blessings in front and at the back. Thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for entrusting me with the gospel. Thank You for manifesting in power as I bear the gospel around the world. Thank You for your preservation, provision and supplies. Thank You for abundance of your Word on soul-winning this month. To You alone be all the glory in the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Having returned with thanksgiving today, I declare that everything with your name on it still hanging be released now. There shall be no carry-over of April releases in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

IT IS ABOUT BEING FAITHFUL

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
John 4:36 (KJV)

Understand that there is no failure in the harvest field. Winning souls involves both “sowing” and “reaping.” Yahushua used these terms in talking to His disciples as recorded in John 4:35-38. Exactly what is the difference between “sowing” and “reaping?” Sowing is the work necessary to enable the seed to enter the ground so that one day harvest is reaped! In agriculture, sowing involves preparing the soil and planting the seed. In winning souls to HaMashiach (the Christ), sowing likewise involves preparation and planting: (a) In which the hearts are being prepared for the reception of the gospel. (b) In which the hearts are first introduced to the gospel and its principles. Reaping is the actual “harvesting” of what has been sown. In agriculture, reaping is the collection of the fruits which have produced by the sowing into the barn or storage facilities for preservation. In winning souls, reaping is that harvesting which occurs when souls who have had the Word planted in their hearts decide to obey it and are subsequently planted in the local church! What is important to appreciate is the statement quoted by Jesus in John 4:37, “One sows and another reaps.” Those who sow do not always witness the reaping that may one day occur. And many times those who reap are benefiting from the efforts of those who did the sowing before them. In evangelism, this means that often times you will be sowing the seed and it may appear that you are not getting any results. But some time later those souls you were trying to reach may decide to finally obey the gospel and another Christian may actually do the reaping in your place! Then again, there will be times when people just sort of “fall into your lap,” ready and anxious to obey the gospel with little effort on your part. In this case, you are reaping what others have sown! The point to keep in mind is that evangelism involves both “sowing” and “reaping,” and there will be times when what you sow will be reaped by someone else. Let this be an encouragement to you when it appears that you are not reaping as you would hope. You might actually be making it much easier for some brother or sister in the future!

So in evangelism, there is nothing like failure if there is faithfulness in planting the Word in the hearts of people. What you should concern yourself is to make sure that you are faithful in planting the Word; that you are diligent in preparing the ground for the Word to do well. Whatever then becomes the outcome in terms of instant decisions for Christ is still success. Sowing the Word is as much success as the person that reaps the soul into the kingdom. Without what you have done, that reaping wouldn’t have been possible probably. So you are a success anyhow the tide turns in the harvest field. This is the mentality Yahweh wants you to have. Yahweh is expecting you to be faithful. “Moreover, it is required of a steward that a man be found faithful” (I Corinthians 4:2). So the requirement is FAITHFULNESS. As a believer, are you faithful in preparing the ground of the heart in intense intercession, breaking off the hold of the god of this world over the minds of the souls you are about ministering the Word? Are you faithful in speaking the Word and not the wisdom of man? These are the points of success in evangelism and soul-winning. If you are faithful, you should not be bordered if the number of decisions are not encouraging because you are just sowing and the harvest will surely be reaped.

An important element of success in personal work is perseverance and faithfulness. Those who persist in sowing the seed eventually bear fruit. The problem with many people is wrong perspectives and negative attitudes. That translates into failure, no matter what the task is at hand. If you have wrong perspective that it is the decisions you record that determines your success in the harvest field, you may be faced with discouragement, meanwhile, that perspective is wrong according to our opening text. It is wrong perspective and attitudes that makes for failure. May the Lord help you correct every wrong perspective and attitude and help you maintain the winning attitude in soul-winning in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

REMEMBER: Remember that one sows and another reaps.

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for the revelation of Your word. I receive grace to be faithful in sowing and reaping in the harvest field. Thank You for the immense harvest of souls daily in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: As we draw close to ending this month, I decree that systems, organizations and individuals holding what is yours lose their sleep, rest and peace until it enters your hands. I decree grace to be faithful released upon you now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT THIS PARTNERSHIP HOLDS FOR YOU (4): VIBRANT SPIRITUAL LIFE & RAPTURE READINESS

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
John 17:19 (KJV)

In Romans 2:21-21, the word says, ‘21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? 22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?’ That goes to say that preaching the gospel forms as a check on your own life. You cannot preach a thing and afterwards goes right into that sin. Preaching is one way to maintain a vibrant spiritual life that is burning for the Lord. The preparations required to engaged in productive evangelism and soul-winning is such that makes for a robust spiritual life. That is why as a benefit of bearing the gospel, your spiritual life is enhanced. You are always on fire for the Lord. Another thing that makes that possible is the challenges encountered in the harvest field. As you go out to preach the gospel, you come in contact with people that have debilitating issues that will take sleep out of your eyes in the night as you cry out to the Yahweh for intervention in their lives. There are situations you encountered that fasting just began from there on the spot because you must see that situation changed. You cannot be doing all that without experiencing fire on continuous basis.

Another thing is preaching the gospel renews the consciousness of the rapture. As the consciousness of the rapture bears heavy on your mind, it makes you live ready. The Word says that if in this world only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable (see I Corinthians 15:19). That is why we are preaching the gospel, because the time of the rapture is at hand and there are many that are yet to hear it. However, as I bear the gospel, the consciousness of the rapture is awakened in my spirit which makes me live ready. This is the benefit of going for souls. In this world now, it is very easy to be carried away with the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches and that day will take one unawares. To maintain the consciousness is a huge blessing. One of the criterion of being raptured is that you must be expecting His coming (see II Peter 3:12; Hebrews 9:28). He shall appear to those who look for him; who are hastening and panting for his return. If preaching the gospel ensure that you are constantly looking forward to his return, then you are in a position where you can never miss the rapture.

As this month draws to a close beloved, I want you to make a quality decision about your primary assignment. Would you want to be tagged a failure before your maker? You are excelling in your secondary assignment but have completely neglected your primary assignment. This is very bad and I pray that you would not allow today to pass without deciding to reverse this trend in your life. The truth is that we are living in injury time. The days are numbers beloved, we do not have all the time to check time. Whatever you fail to do today, has gone. Today once it is passed it is gone. Your colleague that you are watching go to the lake of fire, will never forgive you for not telling him/her about the hope that is available in Yahushua HaMashiach. Your own is to tell them, theirs is to accept or reject. Whatever, they do with the decision, you would have fulfilled your own lot. There are tremendous benefits in being faithful to the course of soul-winning as we have seen a few. May the Lord enfire you to make a quality decision about the gospel today. Selah!

REMEMBER: Soul-winning helps you maintain vibrancy spiritually and also rapture consciousness.

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to be on the go with the gospel as it helps me maintain spiritual vibrancy and rapture consciousness in the wonderful name of Yahushua HaMashiach, Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: From today, I see your spiritual fire escalating to the next level and a high level of rapture consciousness engulfing your soul in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT THIS PARTNERSHIP HOLDS FOR YOU (3): SUPERNATURAL ADDITIONS

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

From our opening verse, the Lord spoke to Bishop David Oyedepo “Seek me and the interest of my kingdom first and all these things that men are running after shall be added to you”. “I want to build a house of my own”. “I want to buy a new car.” “I want to marry this year.” All these things that people are running after are additions to the person that goes about bearing the gospel. The author hates suffering and smiling. He strives to find out the way to get something without struggling and takes that path. You can suffer your head out just to build yourself a house. You save, you deny yourself of some many things, then after 20 years, halleluyah! You have a roof over your own head. There is another route. Be committed to the gospel and a roof over your hand is supernaturally added to you within five years of desiring one and that without going through all the denials and suffering. Which one would you rather opt for? Seeking Yahweh and the interest of His kingdom which is the salvation of the souls of men, endears you to the Yahweh for supernatural additions of those things that men are running around town for. It is foolishness to opt in for suffer-head!

Apostle Peter asked the Lord Yahushua, what would be their lot that have left everything to follow him. Matthew 19:28-29 says, ‘ 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.’ That goes to say that in this life, you have a guarantee of an hundredfold returns for following the interest of the Kingdom. Beloved, thirtyfold is even mindblowing, let alone an hundredfold. You cannot pursue Yahweh and the interest of His Kingdom and be last for it; and be pitied for it. It is a privilege to be called with this holy calling of bearing the gospel of the Lord Yahushua. It is a very high calling in life.

There is no business that is more profitable in life like the Kingdom business. Our supreme partner in this business is so faithful that when your commitment is verified, your returns just begins to amaze even you yourself. You begin to wonder what you have done to deserve the avalanche of favour, goodness and mercy that keeps littering your paths. I believe that it is your turn in case all that is discussed today sounds too good to be true. It is your turn to see additions beyond your imaginations. Now commit to bearing the gospel to the people in your sphere of contacts both online and offline. By all means preach the gospel today. When your commitment is varied, you will only be amazed at the returns. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Bearing the gospel triggers supernatural additions in life.

PRAYER: Beloved Father, I thank you for your word to me today. I receive grace to daily bear the gospel to the people in my sphere of contacts. I connect to the supernatural additions in the wonderful name of Yahushua HaMashiach, Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Begin to walk in the reality of supernatural additions which will produce the harvest of increase, abundance, advantage of the Holy Spirit, favour and glory from now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT THIS PARTNERSHIP HOLDS FOR YOU (2): POTENTIALS COME ALIVE

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Matthew 10:2 (KJV)

The truth is that there are potentials locked up inside of you that are waiting for your active participation in preaching the gospel to be unlocked. There are things that are latent in you beloved and can only be unlocked as the power of Yahweh begins to flow through you to change the lives and destinies of the people in your sphere of contacts. So engaging in the assignment of soul-winning unlocks latent gifts and callings in your life. Whatever Yahweh has given you in terms of gifts and potentials, He is not going to take it back (see Romans 11:29), but they can be untapped until you enter eternity. Preaching the gospel is the easy way to unlock the gifts and calling of Yahweh upon your life. No matter what your secondary assignment on earth is, your primary assignment can bring it to prominence. The gospel raises whatever it comes into contact with, be it your career or business. As you give yourself to the work of preaching the gospel, everything in your life is enhanced because of divine presence. Divine presence is a like a fertile soil upon which whatever you sow on it produces maximally.

Look at the disciples of the Lord Yahushua (Jesus). Acts 4:13 says that the Pharisees and the Sadducees marvelled at them. They were perplexed to see that these seemingly ignorant men have become men to be wondered at. That is what the gospel does in the life of anyone. It has the ability to turn nonentities to celebrities. It has the power to manifest the marvels of your life to those who think that nothing can come out of you. The greatest answer to your critics is to be committed to the gospel because therein lies the power to make you a wonder in the midst of men. They marvelled at the disciples and took notice and knowledge that they had been with Yahushua. You see your association with Yahushua only profits you on the wings of bearing the gospel. If you want people to see the colour of your Christianity, then go mad for the gospel and see how beautiful your feet becomes. Men will literally want to lick your feet just to make contact with you. There is nothing that glorifies like bearing the gospel.

There is something in you. You are not ordinary. You are laden with gifts and calling. Your calling to preach is the sickle that harvests the gifts of Yahweh in your life. The gospel is a double edged sword, it profits the bearer and the receiver. You are doing yourself great disservice by neglecting your primary assignment as a Christian. The truth is time is very short. You do not have eternity to fulfill destiny. Get going beloved! Fulfill your ministry, preach the Word. Tell the good news till nobody in your sphere of contacts is going to hell. Then, suddenly, the world would begin to mind you as a result of potentials that are beginning to show forth all around you. Selah!

REMEMBER: It is only bearing the gospel that has the ability to unlock the gifts and calling upon your life.

PRAYER: Precious Father, thank you for enlightening me today, I receive the grace to run with the gospel because the time is short. Help me to unlock all the potentials you have locked up inside me in the wonderful name of Yahushua HaMashiach, Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the gifts and calling of Yahweh upon your life finds expression as you go bearing the gospel in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT THIS PARTNERSHIP HOLDS FOR YOU (1): DIVINE PRESENCE

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Mark 16:20 (KJV)

If you want to know the pulsated presence of Yahweh, go preaching. Divine presence always accompanies those that bring good news. Many believers are wondering if they are still in the faith because there is no manifestation of God around them at all. This is because the power of Yahweh is in the gospel and it is only those that bear it that see that power manifest in real terms. The glory of Yahweh is upon His Word and those who herald it experience that glory both in their own personal lives and through them to others who now become partakers of the glory of the gospel. Beloved, are you thirsty to see the manifestation of the Lord in your life? Are you desiring to see Yahweh work with you? Then get going with the gospel. Go preaching the Word. Start sharing the Word with your family, friends, colleagues and associates and see how instantly there will be divine confirmations.

We have heard testimonies of those that were condemned to death by one terminal sickness or the other and they carried their last breath to preach and share the gospel. When you are in the harvest field, you are an instrument to bring healing to others. The pipe that carries water cannot be thirsty. So in the process of sharing the gospel, the affliction went back to hell. They went to the doctors and confirmed that the terminal disease has been terminated. These testimonies come in from time to time confirming that you are the first beneficiary of the power of Yahweh that accompanies you to preaching the gospel. It first of all eliminates the issue of shame and reproach in your own life. But that power will never work for you until you are committed to the gospel. Our opening verse says that they went everywhere preaching and the Lord was working with them. They didn’t seat down; they went. As you begin to go, the presence of Yahweh floods your path and do things in your life that you only wished were possible.

You can be an instrument of healing and deliverance if you will yield yourself to the assignment of the gospel today. All your long list of prayer requests will be a thing of the past if you would get going with the gospel today. Why is that so? Because divine presence benefits you the carrier first and through you reaches the people you are ministering to. That divine presence forbids that you are suffering sickness, disease or lack and want. Whatever will hinder you from doing your task well, is eliminated by God’s presence in the gospel. Go out today and make preaching the gospel your lifestyle and see a new lease of life you never thought possible. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Divine presence follows the preaching of the gospel and benefits the carrier first.

CONFESSION: I am a bearer of the gospel of the Lord Yahushua (Jesus) making disciples of the people in my sphere of contacts. Today and always, preaching the gospel is my lifestyle. I am committed to the gospel. Glory be Yahweh!

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS PARTNERSHIP (9): BE COURAGEOUS

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Joshua 1:9 (KJV)

Courage is essential for a soldier in battle and for a soldier of the Lord Yahushua in the fight of faith (see Ephesians 6:10-18). Courage is the strength of the soul. Yahweh has no use for cowards (see Hebrews 10:38-39). Spiritual strength includes steadfastness, bravery, faith in the Yahweh and honesty. It does not come by accident. It is deliberately developed. Courage is boldness to dare anything in the harvest field. It is only the courageous that becomes the victorious. Whatever you cannot dare, you can never take. The seriousness of a man’s face or his high fence, does not scare you. Until courage is in place, conquest is not in view. To be successful in the harvest field, therefore, one must be very courageous. Courage to tell the truth. Courage to preach the undiluted word of God. Courage not to fear at the faces of the people. Jeremiah 1:8 says, ‘Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.’ It takes courage to preach somethings the Holy Spirit will give you.

It takes courage to worship Yahweh in some places and countries today. We saw situation like that in Babylon where Daniel was a captive (Dan. 6). By divine providence Daniel was one of the three presidents under the kingdom of Babylon. He was impeccably honest (vv. 3-5). He openly served Yahweh knowing that he was risking his position and his life (v. 10). He would not compromise his service to Yahweh for any reason. He overcame through God (vv. 16, 22). It takes courage to stand against sin. We saw in the lives Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. (Dan. 3). It takes courage to flee evil. Joseph is a clear example (see Genesis 39). It takes Courage to fight (even when no one else will): David (see 1 Samuel 17). It takes courage to teach the truth. Prophet Nathan confronted King David at God’s word and that could have cost him his life.

How do we come about this courage. First, righteous living makes bold. Proverbs 28:1 says, ‘The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.’ It is not possible to walk boldly in unrighteousness. Sin corrupts your courage and turns it into bold face but bold face is not courage. As long as you are committed to walking in righteousness and holiness, you will see yourself manifest courage. Second, the baptism of the Holy Spirit imparts courage. Acts 4:29-31 says that they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of Yahweh with boldness. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is for boldness in the harvest field. When you are a person given to praying in the tongues of the Spirit, you will exhibit tremendous courage in the harvest field. It takes courage to see miracles. As you declare boldly the Word, the manifestation is called miracles. Acts 14:3 says, ‘Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.’ As they spoke boldly, signs and wonders were done by their hands. Courage is the springboard of signs and wonders. Whether in your life or in the harvest field learn to speak boldly the Word of Yahweh because that is the platform for the manifestation of signs and wonders.

REMEMBER: It takes courage to command signs and wonders and it takes signs to command the attention of souls.

CONFESSION: Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I function in the righteousness of Yahweh and anointed to speak boldly with attendant signs following. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: From today as you say it, you shall see it in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS PARTNERSHIP (7): BE COMPASSION DRIVEN

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Compassion was the energy that drove our Lord Yahushua HaMashiach (Jesus the Christ) into soul-winning. Compassion is what causes the virtue to flow and brought the people both the Word of God and healing in the ministry of the Lord Yahushua (Jesus). Compassion is coming to a deep awareness of another’s suffering and out of sympathy and empathy doing something about it. Understanding the eternal position of the unsaved soul is something that will drive any humane soul to doing something to help. Even though you are tired and needed rest, you go in search of a new convert or to share a tract or word with someone because you understand that the person can exit life at any time and then face eternity unprepared. The understanding of the state of the unsaved evokes compassion and compassion drives gospel campaign. To be successful in soul-winning therefore, compassion is very vital. You want to function in the healing anointing, then you must be compassion-driven. Matthew 14:14 says, ‘And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.’ The unction flows in the direction of compassion and the preaching of the gospel is unction-driven. ‘For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance;’ (I Thessalonians 1:5).

Another thing about compassion is that it is a seed and what you sow is what you reap. As you sow compassion into the lives of others, you inevitably begins to reap same in your own life. The truth is what is sown doesn’t just come back in the exact proportion that it was sown but it is always pressed down, shaken together and running over. Somehow whatever anyone does, of the same shall he/she receive of the Lord. Ephesians 6:8 says, ‘Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.‘ So the issue of compassion isn’t just about winning soul but also it’s about the law of seed time and harvest. The truth is that the seeds of compassion we sow in the souls of the unsaved speak for our generations unborn. There is what you are doing today that is an investment into your generations unborn. It speaks in time for you and throughout all eternity. What a life!

What is it that powers compassion? It is the Understanding of the Word that imparts compassion. The Word gives you a mindset. It is a mindset of divine provision for humanity. When that mindset is in place, anything that is not consistent with that provision in the lives of others will evokes a response to see them corrected and helped. The more of the Word you know, the more heart of compassion you develop. As a soul-winner, you must be taking in the Word on daily basis. You must be a Word addict, consistently eating the Word for your spiritual health and development. The Word will develop compassion in you and guarantee that you are successful in Kingdom business. Selah!

REMEMBER: Compassion imparts unction to function in the harvest field.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I am love born and the love of God is shed abroad in my heart. The compassion of God is compelling me to reach out to the unsaved in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the seeds of compassion that you are sowing in the lives of the unsaved begin to speak in your own personal affairs in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS PARTNERSHIP (6): POSSESS ETERNITY DESTINATION CONVICTION

when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
II Corinthians 1:7-8 (KJV)

For you to be successful in soul-winning, you must have a firm conviction that anyone that does not obey Jesus and His gospel is lost in eternity in the lake of fire. That is what our opening text is saying in essence. Jesus Christ is the way to eternity in heaven. There is no alternative whatsoever. You must be fanatical to this conviction that the gospel is the only escape route from the destruction that awaits every unsaved soul. If it is, then you hold the key to someone’s eternity in heaven. That is a grave realization. It is that understanding that drives one to attack the task of the gospel with reckless abandon. Think about it, all the people you know now that do not obey the gospel are hell bound unless they repent and obey the gospel. And to think that this same gospel of salvation has been committed to your trust is so sobering to think about. No wonder Apostle Paul said that he was made all things to all people so that he might by all means save some (see I Corinthians 9:22). See what Apostle Paul says in II Corinthians 5:11, ‘Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.’ He understood that humanity is lost without the gospel. This gave him the temerity to persuade men into the Kingdom of Yahweh.

Come to think of it, people are lost if they wouldn’t obey the gospel, but how many know and understand this fact. Lost humanity can argue blindly with you as they hopelessly stroll into a doomed eternity. Seeing that they do not understand the gravity of the matter, we persuade them and for some even compel to turn to the Lord. All these efforts is because we understand in the first place that it is a matter of life and death even though they may not realize this at the time. To be successful therefore, one must be firmly convicted that humanity is on their way to eternity without hope without the gospel of the Lord Yahushua (Jesus). This is very crucial.

This consciousness helps you as a person to maintain your salvation because you are gravely aware of the consequences of not doing so. Having a firm conviction of eternity without HaMashiach (the Christ) not only help you succeed in the gospel business but it also empowers vigilance in your own personal Christian walk. Apostle Paul says that he keeps his body under and brings it into subjection least after preaching to others he would be a castaway (see I Corinthians 9:27). That consciousness helps in maintaining personal purity and integrity. You can confirm this fact in the lives of some Christians that do not care about the gospel; they live anyhow. Most don’t have eternity consciousness at all. It shows in the way they run after the things of the world. If you are not actively bearing the gospel, it maybe a sign that you are not eternity conscious and consequently not rapture ready.

REMEMBER: Having a firm conviction helps you not only succeed in the harvest field but also maintain personal purity and integrity.

CONFESSION: I know that humanity is lost without Yahushua HaMashiach and that the gospel holds the key to the eternity of all human race. This powers my tenacity in taking the gospel to all in my sphere of contacts. Glory to Yahweh, they are responding positively!. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree you shall not be a castaway in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS PARTNERSHIP (4): LIVE IN HOLINESS

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. II Timothy 3:19 (KJV)

This is one factor that impede the commitment of many to the gospel – a life of unrighteousness and iniquity. Soul-winning demands that the participant is delivered from a lifestyle of sin before he/she can qualify to be used to deliver others. Soul-winning is bearing the everlasting gospel to the next person and it is required that those that bear the vessels of the Lord must be holy and clean. Isaiah 52:11 admonishes, ‘Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.’ You cannot be meddling with sin and still be free to carry the everlasting gospel. The gospel is holy and uncleanness disqualifies one from bearing it. Living in sin and preaching the gospel is hypocrisy. If what you are preaching is effective, it should save you first. If the gospel you are preaching has not saved you, it would be impotent to effect any change in the life of the person you are witnessing to. Forever, guilt cannot allow you to be effective and successful in the gospel that is why you must clean up. No matter how good an apple is, if you handle that apple with a hand that you used to apply sniper (poison), that apple will be contaminated and can cause death. It is a good apple, the problem is the person bearing it. Same is true about the gospel.

The gospel is not effective in some quarters today is not the fault of the gospel but that of those who are bearing it in unrighteousness. You can deceive man but you cannot deceive God. There is power in the gospel but it cannot flow when the bearer is laden with sin and iniquity. For the power of the gospel to flow, you must allow it to affect your life first by obeying the gospel yourself before running with it. Clean up! Clean up! Time is running out! Don’t waste your life in sin. The worse deception is self-deception. The gospel has foundation (standard) for you to handle it and that is walking in holiness. In the Old Testament, you approach the holy things with sin, you drop dead instantly. We are in era of grace where Yahweh is giving you countless opportunities to repent but don’t take Yahweh for granted so you don’t end grounded.

Leviticus 10:3 says, ‘Then Moses said to Aaron, “It is what the Lord spoke, saying, ‘By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will honored.’” ‘ We are living in a generation that has no regard for Yahweh – a generation that know not the Lord. They are not aware that sin can shut one down and lower the person to early grave that is why they are playing with unrighteousness. A Christian is a king-priest. As a priest, you are expected to stand before the Yahweh on behalf of the people and before the people on behalf of God. How can you stand before a holy God and be messing with sin? This is not that you made a mistake but you are living and enjoying iniquity. I am afraid for you because I know this Yahweh does not take rubbish. That you are not yet dead like it happened to Nadab and Abihu (see Leviticus 10:1-3) should not make you think that Yahweh is a fool or is condoning with your lifestyle of iniquity. Repent today and cut off sin from your life. Living in sin is a choice for the believer. You can help yourself because the power is in you. You are your own worst enemy. You are stopping divinity from making you a show piece of the gospel by your lifestyle. Selah!

REMEMBER: Those that bear the vessels of the Lord must be holy.

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for Your word to me today. I am sorry and repent from every known sin in my life. I ask that the blood of the Lord Yahushua (Jesus) watches me. I cut off sin in my life from this day in the wonderful name of Yahushua HaMashiach, Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: That thing that has sapped your spiritual power is cursed today in your life in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
