    ACCEPTABLE FAST (6): EXTEND MERCY TO YOUR RELATIONS

    Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?Isaiah 58:7 (KJV)

    Fasting exposes one to see the vanity of this world and its possessions. It is easy to drift into a life of selfishness where nobody but you and yourself matters. You find that most times people are good to all but their own relations. They give to outsiders but when they get home, it is a different ball game. No wonder, Elohim is emphasizing that you are not to hide yourself from your own flesh. When you see needs in your family, don’t hide and pretend as though you are not seeing it. I Timothy 5:8 says, ‘But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.’ This is a very serious issue. Don’t turn your back on your own flesh and blood. Show mercy to your relations and ensure that they are not crying out to Yahweh for needs that you can meet. Know that Adonai placed you in their lives for you to be His extension to reaching them. That starts with ensuring that they have heard the gospel enough to make a decision whether to accept or reject the offer of salvation that Yahushua brought. So ensure that their spiritual needs are met. This is your first obligation as a believer. Acts 16:31 (NET) says, ‘They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”’ If you are saved, the next obligation for you is to ensure that your household comes to the saving knowledge of the Lord Yahushua.

    Secondly, Adonai placed you into their lives to ensure that their physical needs are met according to your grace and capacity per time. So, please don’t hide yourself from your flesh and blood. This starts with your relations and family and extends to the larger body of Yahushua. You are the answer to the prayers of your people and whenever what is needed is within your means then don’t allow such to still remain a prayer request. Do you now see that Adonai is very mindful of the welfare of humanity. You can see that all that makes fasting acceptable before Him all concern the welfare of humanity. See what Mark 11:25 says, ‘And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.’ That is your fasting will be a waste of time and exercise in futility if you are not in good terms in your relationships. You must live a life of forgiveness. All these are requirements for acceptable fasting.

    It is pertinent to conclude this day with this charge: “17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy? 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate? 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.” (I Timothy 6:17-19).

    REMEMBER: Adonai expects you to be His hands to your family and relations.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for Your word to me today. I ask for the grace to always be there for my flesh and blood according to the capacity you have given me per time in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: Everything you need to provide for your family and relations and be a blessing to the body of Yahushua is released now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    ACCEPTABLE FAST (5): OUTREACH TO THE POOR

    Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him;
    Isaiah 58:7 (KJV)

    This is one major difference between scriptural fast and religious fast. When it is just religious, it lacks human compassion but Adonai expects us to remember the poor and downtrodden when we fast. This is because the heart of Elohim is constantly yearning to address the inequality that the wickedness of both humans and the devil created to foster poverty on people and you are His extension to reaching these poor ones. For your fast to be acceptable, it has to incorporate the welfare of the poor. Adonai never created anyone poor. People become poor because of poor choices and the wickedness of other humans and the devil. Most people are poor because of circumstances that is totally out of their control and their situation displeases Elohim. Your prayers are fast-tracked if you can open up your bowels to reach out to the poor. Notice these aspects that the Word lists: feeding the poor, providing shelter and clothing. No matter how small it is, plan to provide food to the poor. In your own level, try to see how you can support struggling families to pay for their accommodation. Instead of burning your used cloths, try dry-cleaning them and package for people you consider yourself better than and these people are not hard to find in your present locality.

    Psalms 41:1-3 is one of the moving scriptures about outreach to the poor and its attendant benefits to you. “1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.” Your deliverance in time of trouble is tied to your attitude towards the poor. Your preservation and safety is a function of your outreach to the poor. You enjoy blessing upon the earth that labour can never procure to you just for considering the poor. Adonai ensures that your enemies are helpless before you. They will watch you prosper but can’t do you anything. You enjoy supernatural order of strength in your body and your health is preserved. Even if your health is attacked, you are recovered by Adonai Himself. The poor is truly our opportunity to procure favour with Adonai and it is most important during fasting to take advantage of this channel of blessing to make your fast acceptable.

    Whatever you do to the poor ensures that you and your generations will never be in that poor position. When you reach out to the poor, you terminate any such agenda of Satan from coming near you and your generations. Go ahead and remember the poor today.

    REMEMBER: Your outreach to the poor makes your voice to be heard on high.

    CONFESSION: I am born at such a time as this to be the hand of Elohim to reach out to the poor. It is with great delight that I flow with resources to the poor. Glory be Yahweh!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree the compassion of Yahushua overwhelms you now towards the poor in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    ACCEPTABLE FAST (4): DESTROY EVERY YOKE

    Is not this the fast that I have chosen? and that ye break every yoke?Isaiah 58.6 [KJV]

    One of the things we connect to at the place of fasting is the anointing and the anointing is for breaking every yoke. Isaiah 10:27 says, ‘And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.’ John 12:24 says ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.’ In fasting, the flesh dies. That is why you must schedule a major fast this season. All these 6-6 wont help you much. Even three days dry is not enough. We are talking about 21 days to 40 days fast. This is the fast that mortifies the flesh and brings you into the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You need this anointing to break every yoke in your life and in the lives of the people in your world. You need this anointing to reign and rule in your business/career. Believers are lazy to go up and take their inheritance. No wonder, occultists are in power in many realms because they are ready to pay the price that the devil asks them to pay and most times it would even be fasting for days just to acquire power to dominate in their field. And you a believer is eating your destiny away day in day out.

    You need the anointing to stop the devil in his tracks. Yahushua told his disciples, ‘And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.’(Luke 24:49). But tarry. Beloved, there is a tarrying before endowment from on high is possible. That tarrying is in fasting. It is almost impossible to see the endowment of power if you refuse to tarry in fasting. In almost all generations, those that ever saw the endowment of power are people of fasting. This is the year that Adonai has determined that you will see the manifestation of the power of our Lord Yahushua HaMashiach in your life, but you have to tarry. And as you tarry, begin to break every yoke. Whatever binds and restricts is billed for destruction. Destroy the yokes in your life, family and nation. Negative family patterns that your family has laboured under is billed for destruction. The yoke of childlessness is billed for destruction. The yoke of frustration of marital settlement expectation is billed to be destroyed. Whatever your “this kind” is, can be tackled at the place of fasting.

    Fasting makes us fit spiritually. In the realm of the spirit, it is survival of the fittest. If you are a spiritual weaklings, you will even lose the one that is in your hands now to the wickedness of the devil. But you need to come to that point of power with Yahweh. May this season provoke you and spur you to that point of power with Adonai. Shalom!

    REMEMBER: Acceptable fast destroys the yokes.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, Thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to discipline my body in fasting in order to receive the anointing in Yahushua’s Name Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I release the grace for long fasts into your life today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    ACCEPTABLE FAST (3): RELEASE THE OPPRESSED

    Is not this the fast that I have chosen? and to let the oppressed go free,
    Isaiah 58:6 [KJV]

    All these things we are enumerating are the things that Adonai said are the fast He has chosen. That means for your fast to be acceptable to Him, you must strive to accomplish these in your fast. Adonai desires that no one lives under oppression of any kind. There are human being oppression to his/her fellow. When the author was leading a Teens’ Church, there was a case of a woman that would put her kitchen knife on fire and when it is hot, she uses it to beat the small girl that she was living with. When that issue came up, if this little girl remove her cloth, you would instantly start weeping, it was an eyesore. We immediately activated that girl leaving that house same day and locked up the woman in question. A delegation was sent to return the girl to her people. That is human being oppression and wickedness to his/her fellow. Just remembering that incident now, tears still runs down my cheeks freely. It was something I have never seen before. When they say that some human beings are beast, I saw it first hand in that case. This was a woman that comes to church that can perpetrate that kind of oppression what would those that don’t even hear the Word of Adonai do?

    There are also spiritual oppressions that people labour under. This one can even be worse than physical oppression. Sickness and disease is an oppression of the devil. Delayed expectation some times can be oppression of the devil. Prolonged state of being unmarried is satanic oppression. Extreme poverty in-spite of working hard is oppression of the devil. The list is almost inexhaustible. Whenever you see what negates the Word of Yahweh in your life or in the lives of others, you are looking at the result of oppression. In Luke 13:16, Yahushua says “And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” You see that this woman’s affliction is a direct oppression of Satan. In Acts 10:38, we saw ‘How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil? for God was with him.’ This is the life that we are called to live in Yahushua, to let the oppressed go free. In fasting, we subdue our carnal nature in order to connect to the power of Adonai to send the devil packing in our affairs and in that of the people in our world.

    There is what Adonai instituted in Leviticus 25 that is called the Jubilee. It is a year of release. At this Jubilee everyone is released and free to start life. Lands are released, properties are released and slaves are released. This is the will of Adonai that no one is under any form of oppression and He has called you to make it happen on the altar of fasting and prayer. Would you oblige Him?

    REMEMBER: Acceptable fast is releasing those that are oppressed.

    CONFESSION: I know who I am, an heir of Yahweh, a joint-heir with Yahushua. Just as my Father hates oppression, I also hate it with passion. I desire that all be released and I go about achieving this as I fast. Halleluyah!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree the termination of oppression in your life now in Yahushua’s name Amen!

    ACCEPTABLE FAST (2): MAKE LIFE BETTER (UNDO HEAVY BURDENS)

    Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to undo the heavy burdens,
    Isaiah 58:6 (KJV)

    Acceptable fast undo the heavy burdens. Adonai desires that life should be good for His creation. People should live in health, prosperity and peace. There should not be weeping, mourning and gnashing of teeth. This is the ideal of Adonai. However, the presence of Satan and his agents has brought untold heavy burdens upon people and Adonai is seeking for a person to stand in the gap and undo these heavy burdens upon humanity. So in fasting, you connect with power from on high as your voice is heard on high to undo heavy burdens. You don’t need to be a pastor or in the full time ministry to be used of Yahweh to undo heavy burdens. As a person you should stand for yourself and at least for your family members and ensure that no satanic burdens remain around you. Literally, this means, let those who work for you not be working under inhuman conditions. Don’t allow your workers work under conditions that make them sigh and mourn. Make life better for people around you. There are organizations today that are literal slave centres where people work under terrible conditions and as they work, their groans and sighs ascend to Adonai and this breaks His heart. Never be that kind of person that people around you are doing their work with bitterness and terrible conditions.

    Spiritually, this means undo every traces of satanic burden you sight. Be it sickness, disease or extreme poverty, attack that devil until he looses grip of his victims. When you see addictions of any type, it is a heavy burden that needs to be undone. The author heard a person say “spirit of smoking leave me alone” and the person was still popping the smoke out. That tells you that this person is held against his/her will. In the place of fasting, you attack that power holding that individual captive and undo that burden off his/her shoulders. One of the things that are prevalent in our day is sickness and disease. It is a burden that so many are labouring under and this is one of the reason that Yahushua came, to undo the heavy burden of sickness and disease. So as you fast, undo heavy burdens of sickness and disease in the life of anyone that comes to mind.

    II Corinthians 10:4-5 says, ‘(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds?) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ?’ The arsenal under our control is heavy and can undo any kind of heavy burden. You can see that the person that is not fasting is doing himself/herself great disservice. Fasting which implies praying too is your opportunity to take your place of authority both for you and the people in your world. Sleeping giant wake up!

    REMEMBER: Acceptable fast makes life better for others.

    PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to take my place of authority as I wait upon you, undoing heavy burdens both in my life and the lives of others in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: Every heavy burden hanging on your life is cursed now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    ACCEPTABLE FAST (1): LOOSE THE BONDS OF WICKEDNESS

    Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness,
    Isaiah 58:6 (KJV)

    Scriptures lets us know that there are acceptable fasts. This means that there are also unacceptable fasts. As a rule of thumb, any fast that does not have impact on your flesh is not acceptable. Any fast that does not bring about a change in you of some sorts is not acceptable. Isaiah 58:3-5 enumerates unacceptable fasts. Fasting to show off; fasting that increases wickedness in you to your fellow human, fasting for strife and debate are not acceptable and hence your voice is not heard on high. Fasting is spiritual exercise to mortify the flesh, therefore it should eliminate the works of the flesh drastically with every session of your fast. Galatians 5:19-21 enumerates the works of the flesh, ”19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these? Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” As you fast, these things must be dropping from off you until you come to the unity of the fast and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (see Ephesians 4:13).

    One of the things that acceptable fast does is to loose the bonds of wickedness. The bonds of wickedness are those things that do not allow you and others to experience the liberty of the Spirit. These are the activities of the wicked Satan and his agents in your life or the lives of your loved ones and in the spread of the Gospel. As you fast, you are to loose such bondages of the wicked by the power of Elohim. Fasting connects you to the power of Yahweh which enables you to loose the bondages of the wicked in your life, family and in the spread of the Gospel. There are bondages over cities, communities and nations that makes the hearts of people not to be receptive to the gospel, these wickedness is dealt with as you fast. II Thessalonians 3:1 says, ‘Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:’ II Corinthians 4:3-4 says, ‘3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.’ Fasting is not a time to ask for bread and butter. It is a time of intense spiritual warfare to deal with forces that hinder the gospel from having a free course and that veil the eyes of people from seeing the light of the glorious Gospel.

    REMEMBER: Acceptable fast looses the bonds of wickedness over you, family, church, community and nation.

    CONFESSION: I am a power broker at the place of fasting, destroying the bonds of wickedness over my life, family and in the spread of the Gospel. I take my place of authority as I reign and rule with Yahushua today. Glory be Elohim!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: Every form of wickedness around your life is destroyed now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    SCRIPTURAL FASTING

    Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
    Matthew 6:16 (KJV)

    There are three activities that are non-negotiable for the believer. They are a matter of when and not if. First is giving. Second is praying and the third is fasting. These activities are a matter of living for the believer. You cannot live the life of HaMashiach (Christ, Messiah, the Anointed one) without giving, praying and fasting. So many have chosen giving and praying and forsaken fasting and that accounts for the powerlessness in the Church today. With all that Yahushua is, he needed to fast for forty days, that should tell you that fasting is a must, it is a matter of when and not if. Until you fast, you cannot connect the power to fulfill your destiny on earth. Until you fast, there are what Yahushua called “this kind” that cannot be solved in your life (see Matthew 17:21). You should be fasting as often as you are praying and giving. Everybody in all ages that have connected with power with Yahweh fasted. Fasting does not change Elohim but fasting changes you.

    One of the things that stops our access to Yahweh is the workings of the flesh. The carnal nature of man works against him in connecting with Yahweh. Romans 8:6-8 says, ‘6 For to be carnally minded is death? but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.’ What fasting does is to deal with the flesh so well that your spirit can rise to connect with the Spirit of Yahweh. A 21-day fast will help you crucify the flesh and give you access into the horizon of communication with Elohim that you never knew was possible.

    Isaiah 58:6-8 implies that fasting must of necessity go with prayer. Verse 6 says, ‘Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?’ This is done as you pray to loose the bands of wickedness. So acceptable fasting includes prayer. Fasting without prayer is hunger strike. Isaiah 40:31 describes fasting as waiting upon the Yahweh. This means that most times of your fast should be in quiet expectation in His presence for what the Elohim might say or show to you. This is waiting upon Yahweh; fixing your gaze upon Elohim in expectation. Major part of this waiting on Elohim is reading, studying and meditating on His Word. As you do this during your fast, you are illuminated. Psalms 119:105 says, ‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.’ Elohim’s word begins to enlighten your feet, showing you what to do on pressing issues of your life. This is what scriptural fast is all about.

    REMEMBER: Scriptural fast is crucifying the flesh, praying, waiting and being enlightened by the Word.

    CONFESSION: I am a product of the Word of Yahweh therefore, I am conscious that therein lies my life, future and development. As I wait upon Elohim, my paths are enlightened. Glory be Yahweh.

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: From today fasting shall be the delight of your soul in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    WHAT IS FASTING?

    And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
    Matthew 4:2 (KJV)

    There is a misunderstanding among believers as to what a fast is and because of that lack of knowledge, Satan deceives a lot of believers. Webster’s, and also the Bible Dictionary, define fasting as, “abstinence from food. Especially as a religious observance.” (FAST: “To abstain from food.”). We may ask the question, “Is water food?“ First, we will consider Webster’s definition of food, and it reads as follows: “Food: nutriment; nourishment in solid form.” Food and water-drinking are two different things. To do without water results in thirsting, and thirsting means, “a great desire to drink.” Fasting will be understood better if we recognize these facts. One should not associate abstinence from water, with the subject of fasting; thus, we see the contradistinction between food and water. Fasting has nothing with drinking water. In fact, you should drink water while you are fasting for several reasons. When you are on a fast, your body goes into cleansing called detoxification. This process needs a lot of water to complete. When we are talking about a fast here, we are talking about a protracted fast or a complete fast. We are dealing with the type of fast taken by the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. A fast like that of Paul, or Daniel: “Bible Fast.” A complete fast is a fast from the time hunger leaves, until the time hunger returns. Such a fast may continue from twenty-one to forty days, depending on the individual, and also on the amount of time it takes you to get your prayers through to Heaven.

    A short fast is a fast of less than ten days. You should not fast for more than three days without drinking water. Any fast of more than three days should involve drinking plenty of water in order to help the body clean up. This cleansing of the body is one of the physical benefits of fasting. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and to attempt a major fast without water, would defile and pollute the body. Scripture states: “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy.” I Cor. 3:17. This accounts for why people have destroyed their body with ignorance while fasting and that ignorance has given wrong impression about fasting to others.

    Water is not food and cannot break a fast. You are hurting your body when you take a major fast without drinking water and it is pure ignorance and not in line with scriptures. Paul knew the difference between ‘thirsting” and “fasting.” He distinguishes them in II Cor. 11:27, “in hunger and thirst, IN FASTINGS OFTEN.” If “hunger and thirst” were the same thing as “fasting,” he would not have repeated the same thing, any more than “cold” and “nakedness” are the same. Please note that a comma is inserted between each phrase.

    REMEMBER: Fasting is abstinence from food.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the zeal to fast from today the right way in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree a fresh hunger for a closer walk with Yahweh for you today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    WHO IS YAHUSHUA HAMASHIACH? (B)

    Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
    I John 4:17 [KJV]

    We continue from yesterday. Remember, we are looking at discovering who Yahushua is in order to see who we are in Him. So, who exactly is Yahushua HaMashiach?

    1. Yahushua HaMashiach ascended to the right hand side of the Father (see Luke 24:49-53; Acts 1:6-11).
      1. He is interceding for us (see Romans 8:34). That is why you cannot fail because someone is interceding for you. That is why also you must be fervent in prayer because as he is so are you here.
      2. He is our eternal mediator (see I Timothy 2:5).
      3. He is our Saviour. In His name we are saved (see Acts 4:12; 5:31). He is the only Saviour. He is the complete Saviour (see Hebrews 7:25). He is a personal Saviour (see Romans 8.9,10).
    2. Yahushua HaMashiach is coming again (see Acts 1:11).
      1. In the Rapture of the Saints (see I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
      2. In His Second Coming (see Revelation 19:11-21). He is going to triumph over the anti-HaMashiach and establish His government.
      3. Millennial reign (see Revelation 20:1-7). Yahushua HaMashiach and the saints are going to reign in this world for a thousand years.

    The effects of who Yahushua is on the believer includes:

    1. Power over Satan, sin and sickness. Romans 6:11 says that you are dead to sin. You have complete dominion over sin. If a Believer is living in sin now, it is completely his choice and that is why he will go to hell because he chose to sin instead of dominate sin. By what Yahushua has done, you have dominion over Satan because you are seating with Yahushua in the heavenly realms far above all the powers of the enemy (see Ephesians 1:17-23; 2:6; Colossians 1:13). In Yahushua, you have dominion over sicknesses (see 1 Peter 2:24). You now dwell in Zion (see Hebrew 12:22-24; Isaiah 33:20,24). You live where sickness and disease cannot access you. You must refuse to be sick and if there is any sickness or disease fastening itself to your body, I curse it now and command it to wither in Yahushua’s Name Amen.
    2. You are rich and wealthy in Yahushua. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says that Yahushua was made poor that you might be rich. Revelation 5:12 says that he received riches, glory and blessing for you. You have no business with smallness, poverty and lack. It is part of what life in Yahushua affords you. It is not a function of your work/job or business. It is your inheritance in Yahushua. Philippians 3:19 says that in Yahushua Yahweh supplies your need according to His riches in glory. You have riches in glory and you should never live any less here on earth. This year, you are going to walk in massive wealth.
    3. You become the tabernacle of Yahweh on earth. Your spirit, soul and body becomes the expression of divinity on earth. I Corinthians 3:16 says, ‘Know ye not that ye are the temple of Yahweh, and that the Spirit of Yahweh dwelleth in you?’ Yahweh dwells in you by the Holy Spirit. That means that whatever is available to Yahweh is accessible by you. You reign and rule on earth just like the Father does. All because you are in Yahushua HaMashiach.

    REMEMBER: With all we have seen about Yahushua, he still fasted 40 days.

    PRAYER: Beloved Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word to me today. I understand that if Yahushua has to fast to fulfill His mission on earth that I can do no less if I want my mission to be fulfilled, so help me to fast and pray in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that your destiny opens up this time as you wait in fasting and prayer in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    WHO IS YAHUSHUA HAMASHIACH? (A)

    Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

    Our objective today is to discover who Yahushua HaMashiach (Hebrew for Jesus Christ) is in order to understand who we are in Him. It is going to be a thorough study. Whosoever HaMashiach is, is who we are in Him. This is very crucial. If you don’t know who Yahushua is, you cannot know who you are, because who you are is a function of who He is. John 20:21 says, ‘Then said Yahushua to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.’ So whosoever Yahushua HaMashiach is, is exactly who you are now in this world. It would blow your mind to discover that you are really operating far below who you really are in Yahushua. So, who exactly is Yahushua HaMashiach?

    1. Yahushua HaMashiach is Yahweh. Yahushua in John 10:30 says, ‘I and my Father are one.’ Colossians 2:9 says, ‘For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Yahwehhead bodily.’ Yahushua HaMashiach is deity. That implies:
      1. He was pre-existent with the Father. He was the Word of Yahweh that created the World. John 1:1-2 says, ‘1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh. 2 The same was in the beginning with Yahweh.’
      2. He is the Son of Yahweh. Satan knows this (see Matthew 4:3,6). Demons know this (see Matthew 8:29). Men know this (see Matthew 14:33). What does it mean that Yahushua HaMashiach is the son of Yahweh? It does not mean someone that was born by Yahweh. It means that Yahushua HaMashiach is Yahweh in the flesh. He is the manifestation of Yahweh in the flesh of humanity. Wow!
      3. Yahushua HaMashiach was sinless like only Yahweh can. Nobody could find sin in Him (see John 8:46). 2 Corinthians 5:21 says that he knew no sin.
      4. Yahushua HaMashiach forgives sins as only Yahweh can. Matthew 9:6 confirms that He has the power on earth to forgive sins.
    2. Yahushua HaMashiach became man. He wore our humanity so that he can be a faithful high priest to us.
      1. He fulfilled prophecy made 800 years before his birth (see Isaiah 7:14).
      2. He was born of a virgin birth by the power of the Holy Spirit (see Luke 1:30,31).
      3. He operated by the power of the Holy Spirit in the miraculous. He healed the sick, fed the hungry and raised the dead (see Matt. 8:9-13; John 6; Luke 7:11-18).
    3. Yahushua HaMashiach accomplished our redemption. That was one of the high points for His manifestation (see John 12:27).
      1. He died on the cross. His death was prophesied (see Isaiah 53:3-8). He was the ransom for sin (see Matt.20:38; Romans 3:24). He paid the penalty for sin (see Romans 3:24; 1 John 2:2; 4:10). His death satisfied the demand of justice for sin. His death ended the enmity between Yahweh and man. He reconciled man to Yahweh (see 2 Corinthians 5:18,19; Romans 5:10). His death was a substitution. He died in our place (see I Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
      2. He conquered Satan, Hell and the Grave and rose on the third day. No other person has this testimony only Yahushua HaMashiach. Yahushua prophesied that He would rise from the death (see Mark 14:58; 15:29; Matthew 26:61; John 2:29). Now the tomb is empty forever (see John 20:11-13) and witnesses to that fact abound (see Luke 23:55,56; John 20:1-21; 21:1-14).

    REMEMBER: You are exactly like Yahushua because you are born of the Word.

    CONFESSION: This month of January shall be the beginning of great things in my life this year. As Yahushua is so am I in this world. As I wait on Elohim this month, my eyes shall be opened to lay hold on my inheritance in Yahushua. Glory be Yahweh!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree the strength of Elohim upon you to wait upon Him this season until power rests upon you in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
