THANKFUL FOR JANUARY 2024

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
Colossians 4:2 [KJV]

Thanksgiving is a universal application if there is going to be a response from Yahweh. In the first place, you cannot enter into Yahweh’s presence without thanksgiving. Psalms 100:4 says, ‘Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.’ No matter the urgency of your case, you cannot secure attention until you come into Yahweh’s presence and you cannot be admitted into that hollowed court without coming with an overflow of thanksgiving. This is the protocol of the Kingdom and our King Father. Learn to overflow with thanksgiving, it turns your heavenly Father on at your presence. And listen, until you thank Yahweh for the last, you do not qualify for the next. Until you thank Adonai for the seen, you cannot receive the coming or expected. Thanksgiving is one of the prayer protocols and living protocol in this kingdom. You must learn and perfect that act and make it your lifestyle.

Thanksgiving is acknowledging that it is not your fasting that brought you results that you are seeing. Thanksgiving is saying to Yahweh that you are nothing but a beneficiary of His love and mercy and that not for anything that you have done, not even for fasting. You must understand that fasting is not what you are doing for Yahweh, no, a thousand times no! In all these processes of gaining weight spiritually, what you do that profits Yahweh is your thanksgiving and praise, all others benefit you. So if you do all and you starve Yahweh of thanksgiving and praise, then you shall be seen as wicked and selfish. The fasting you are doing is for your benefit, the prayer you are doing is for your benefit, the only one that will benefit the Lord which is your thanksgiving and praise, you refuse to give Him, who are you then? If there is anything that will make your fasting fruitless is a fasting that is devoid of plenty thanksgiving and praise to Yahweh. If you are stingy with your thanksgiving and praise, you shall surely reap what you sow. The heavens will also show you the definition of stinginess.

Do you know that if you just list out your fasting expectations and all you say during your prayers is just THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS all through your fasting. Before the days of your fasting are ended, everything in your list would have turned to testimonies. There is power in thanksgiving and praise. Remember, that we are not heard by plenty speech, so let your prayer be much of praise and thanksgiving during your fast and you shall see speedy answers.

REMEMBER: Thanksgiving and praise facilitates speedy divine intervention and results.

THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, we are not worthy of the least of Your mercies. What shall we say for bringing us into this great year and like play you have already taken us through the first month, no loss, no tears, we saw goodness and mercies, abundance of blessings in front and at the back. Thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for the continuous flow of Your Word on this platform. Thank You for Your preservation, provision, direction and supplies. Thank You for abundance of Your Word on fasting and prayer this month. To You alone be all the glory in the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Having returned with thanksgiving today, I declare that everything with your name on it still hanging be released now. There shall be no carry-over of January releases in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (11): DIVINE DIRECTION

And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

There are few things in life that are as profitable as divine direction. In fact, without divine direction you would end up in the hands of your enemies. One misdirection can ruin your entire life. It doesn’t matter how successful you are now, just one misdirection can bring you to poverty and defeat. Until you are where God wants you to be, doing what He wants you to be doing, you may not see His manifestation no matter how hard you pray. Pa Hagin told his personal story along this line. He missed Adonai in changing Church one time. He accepted to pastor this Church based on fleece and left the Church he was pastoring. He would pray all week long and was full of power but as soon as he stepped into that Church it was as if he was poured cold water and he would lose everything he has for that service. You are always your best at the place Yahweh placed you. So whatever you would do to get on key with divine direction, is great wisdom.

Now we have this guarantee from the Word of Yahweh that when we fast, that our Yahweh shall guide us continually. Fasting deals with your flesh. What disconnects us from the voice of Yahweh most times is the flesh. We eat ourselves away and become guilty of the sin of surfeiting. Surfeiting is what the Lord Yahushua says in Luke 21:34, ‘And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.’ The Greek word is KRAIPALE meaning a glut. Glut is to overeat or eat immodestly; make a pig of oneself. Surfeiting is a sin. Overeating or eat immodestly is a sin. When we dwell in that realm, the flesh cuts us off from the voice of direction both from the Word and the Voice of the Holy Spirit. This is what fasting does for us, it delivers us from the clutches of surfeiting, so we can be sensitive to the leading of the Lord.

It was as Apostle Peter was fasting that he both saw a vision and as he thought on the vision, he heard the voice of the Holy Spirit. Maybe if he was surfeiting, he would not have seen anything. Fasting sharpens our spirit-man as the flesh is dethroned.

As we wrap up the teaching for this month, please I implore you to read more on fasting; how to break a long fast; what to eat in the case of a partial fast; how to set your fasting objectives and schedule your prayer times to make the most of your fasting season. Fasting is not to boost that you are fasting, no, but to press into answers and change of story. There are a lot of useful resources available. Also look into the Bibliography of this month’s edition and try to lay your hands on the materials mentioned. I see you already emerging a force both to the heavenlies and to the gates of hell. REMEMBER: Fasting offers you opportunity to tap into divine direction.

PRAYER: Beloved Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I receive grace to lead a consecrational fasted lifestyle from this day in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

I decree that within 48 hours that you enter practically into all that the Lord has released for you this month. WHAT FASTING OFFERS (10): SPEEDY ANSWERS TO PRAYERS

Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.
Isaiah 58:9 (KJV)

Fasting brings earnestness to your prayers. We saw at the beginning of this month that what produces dynamic power is not just prayer because everybody is praying but not everybody is experiencing tremendous power that is dynamic in its workings. It is earnest prayer that makes tremendous power available. Webster’s Dictionary defines earnest as ‘characterized by or proceeding from an intense and serious state of mind’. Artha Open Thesaurus defines earnest as ‘not distracted by anything unrelated to the goal’. Amplified Bible define earnest as ’heart-felt and continued’. And this earnestness is not a function of physical exertion and plenty of words as our Lord Yahushua has already said that you shall not be heard because of your much speech (see Matthew 6:7). Hollering and demonstrations is nothing when seeking to make your prayer earnest. This earnestness is a spiritual force that must be added to your prayer to make it produce dynamism and results. Vain repetitions cannot help in this school of prayer at all. Finesse of speech is utterly useless.

Now take the example of Hannah at Shiloh. She was pouring out her heart to the Lord but no words could be deciphered from what was coming out of her mouth. I Samuel 1:10 has this to say of Hannah, “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.” Somebody in that disposition couldn’t have followed others to partake of their delicacy of the occasion. She was obviously fasting because I Samuel 1:18 said that after she had encountered her change, “And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.” It was after she received her answer that she broke her fast. Obviously it was fasting that produced the earnestness required to deliver answers to her prayer. This is how this thing works beloved.

Every matter continues in its state of rest until a relevant force moves it. Fasting is a spiritual force that gives your prayer the wings to fly to the throne room with power and comes back to you with answers. We have often heard that a prayerful believer is a powerful believer, that is surely not the whole truth. There is a level of power which you require to enforce your expectation that you cannot access in the place of prayer without fasting. Until you enter into the closet of fasting, you will be a spectator in that realm. Until you go into the power generating room of fasting, you will only wish and wish and end up in frustration. You have an opportunity now to effect that change you desire as you relate with the Lord in fasting. Do it!

REMEMBER: Fasting produces the earnestness required to powerise your prayer.

PRAYER: Beloved Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I receive grace to undertake that fast that will break the chains and set me on that pedestal of perpetual victory always in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (9): YAHWEH’S GLORY BECOMES YOUR PROTECTION

… the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.
Isaiah 58:8 (KJV)

Everybody that has been with Adonai on the mountain always returns with His glory on their lives. Glory is the aura of divinity manifest in our humanity. Glory is the presence of Yahweh radiating in our lives. Glory is the glow of the Spirit of Yahweh on the soul of a person that impacts on both his countenance and disposition. The Hebrew word for glory is ‘Kabowd’ which means weight, splendour or glorious. That means that you develop weight when you stay in Yahweh’s presence that no satanic activity can dare to move you. Your countenance is resplendent as a result of dwelling in Yahweh’s presence in fasting. This was Moses’ experience whose physical face was shining from the glory of Yahweh’s presence. People couldn’t look at his face. Just as the natural eyes cannot look into the face of the sun, the glory of Yahweh was on Moses that much that people couldn’t behold his face. This can be your experience too. Whether your physical face shine as was the case with Moses or not, there is a spiritual glory presence that comes upon you as you fast. There is a weight you gain spiritually speaking in a fast that separates you far from oppression.

When you acquire that glory, the defence of the Lord is activated in your life. Let me show you how this works. That glory is a treasure of heaven on earth. That glory is what confirms you as an ambassador of the Kingdom of HaMashiach on earth and that activates protection and preservation for you. It is practically impossible for you to be wasted by Satan or wicked and unreasonable men. You become a terror to evil and your presence have demons screaming out. All because there is a glory deposit on you from the presence of Yahweh as you fellowship with Him in a fast. Heaven literally releases escorts with you. The worth of this glory is worth everything for you to desire for it to drop on you. This glory solves security challenges of our day for you and everyone connected to you. Watch men and women that are living in consecrational fasting as a lifestyle, you see that they are the touch-not and that extends to anyone that connects to their grace.

Do you want to be a terror to the gates of hell just at your presence, then beloved go for the glory of Yahweh’s presence. Are you desirous to see the preservation of Yahweh not just on you but on everyone that connects to your grace, then do everything to receive the glory of Yahweh’s presence as your present-hour reality. This is the real deal in these days of evil that we live in. Move into the zone of the touch-not as you cultivate the lifestyle of consecrational fast.

REMEMBER: Yahweh’s glory is released on you as you fast.

CONFESSION: I am the glory of Yahweh. When I arrive that glory is seen and felt. The presence of Yahweh is my present-hour reality and through me the effects of that glory is manifested for all to see. Thank You LORD!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I see that glory released upon you as you tarry in His presence in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (8): ESTABLISHMENT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

… and thy righteousness shall go before thee; …
Isaiah 58:8 (KJV)

Amplified puts it this way: your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity]. Fasting establishes you in righteousness because you cannot approach Yahweh in sin. And righteousness is not just who we are but what we do. I John 3:7 says, ‘Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.’ Fasting helps you establish the culture of doing righteousness. When one does not live a life of consecrational fasting, his/her life will be filled with uncleanness and filth of all manner. Though he/she may have genuinely at one time confessed the lordship of HaMashiach over his/her life but because he/she has refused to work out his/her salvation with fear and trembling (see Philippians 2:12), he/she cannot exercise dominion over sin and unrighteousness. Yahushua saw this when He said in Matthew 6:16 “Moreover when ye fast”. Fasting offers you establishment in righteousness.

When you are established in righteousness, it provokes a lot of chain reactions in your life. Isaiah 54:14 says, ‘In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.’ Being established in righteousness removes you far from oppression. Whether it is oppression by Satan and the gates of hell or by wicked and unreasonable men, you are removed far from oppression. Being established in righteousness disables fear in your spirit. You begin to live as though the devil doesn’t exist any more. The strength of the devil is a lifestyle of sin and unrighteousness. Fear brings bondage. Fear magnets death (see Hebrews 2:15). But as you are established in righteousness you are far removed from terror. Terror is barred from your life. Instead, you become the terroriser.

Being established in righteousness brings you to the peace that surpasses all understanding. Your life is established in the rest of Yahweh. Then you enjoy supernatural prosperity. The power to make wealth is released upon you. All these are what a life of righteousness affords you and it takes a life of consistent consecrational fasting to come to that point where you are established in righteousness. That is why it is almost impossible to make a mark in the sands of time without a lifestyle of consistent consecrational fasting adventure. As you observe this kind of fasting lifestyle, your flesh is constantly mortified empowering your spirit-man to be in full control. You shall not fail!

REMEMBER: Fasting establishes you in righteousness.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to be on key with the revelations You are giving me on fasting in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: You shall not be a hearer only but a doer of the work in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (7): SPEEDY REVERBERATION OF HEALING/HEALTH

When we say that fasting springs forth speedily your healing and health, we are just stating the obvious both from scriptures and from raw testimonies. There is no sickness that cannot be terminated by fasting. Even medical doctors, have discovered that majority of ailments is a function of what people eat, so when you eliminate such diets, the body naturally recovers. Cancers have been seen to dry up and die in long fasts and afterwards the person tests showed that he/she was cancer free. Your health springing forth speedily is both supernaturally and naturally. The body has been enabled by the creator to heal itself in some cases that the challenge is not organic. Just going on a 21 days to 40 days total fast can take care of your frequent health challenges, and afterwards, resume eating healthy ensures that you sustain the gains of your fast. In His book “Fasting” Jentezen Franklin shared testimonies of his Church members along this line. They fast for 21 days to start the year. “Eve had people testify that only three days into a fast for a loved one suffering with cancer, the cancer was completely cured! Another lady’s son was dying from a 107-degree fever associated with his leukemia. The very first day of the fast, the boy’s fever broke, and he didn’t suffer a trace of brain damage! One year, only three days into the fast, Melissa testified that her father had been battling prostate cancer and that she had begun the fast on his behalf. When he went to the doctors for a procedure, to their shock, the doctors found no signs of the cancer anywhere! God healed him.”

You can stand for your loved ones and demand that they are released from terminal affliction in fasting and the Lord will honour you as you will see their healing springing forth speedily.

REMEMBER: Fasting facilitates your health springing forth speedily.

CONFESSION: The Spirit of Him that raised HaMashiach from the dead lives in me and that Spirit revitalises my body. As I fast my youth is renewed like the eagles and my health springs forth speedily. Glory be Yahweh!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the root of that infirmity in your body is destroyed and eliminated from your body today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (6): ERUPTION OF SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, …
Isaiah 58:8 (KJV)

We are living in the days of prophetic gross darkness (see Isaiah 60:1-2). Darkness connotes the devil and all his manifestations. Darkness is a state of visionlessness, purposelessness, and hopelessness. Darkness is a state where you do not know what to do, where to go and what to expect. Darkness is a state of confusion, contradiction, conflict and depression. Light here implies illumination, insight, understanding and enlightenment. Light here means the opening of the Word of God for you to the point of understanding and seeing really what God is showing you from the pages of scripture. To be lighted is to be lifted. To be illuminated is to be elevated. The glory of your life is at the mercy of light because until you are illuminated, you will end up eliminated. Your change of story is at the instance of light. Until you can see it, you cannot seize it. Your inheritance in HaMashiach (Christ) is available and ready for the taking, but it would take you to see it to seize it. So anything that you would do to see the hidden treasures behind the written Word, it is wisdom to go for it.

There is one thing the Bible guarantees will make your light to break forth as the morning. It is fasting. Fasting facilitates the springing forth of your light which in turn causes you to take a flight to the top. Your place is at the top if you are interested. When you fast, the limitations of the flesh are overcome and your spirit is freed to explore in revelations of the Lord. The scales over your eyes suddenly fall off and you can now see clearly what the Spirit is saying to you to do. And when you can see the Word of God, it imparts faith. When faith comes, anything is absolutely possible to you. You begin to walk in the stances of Adonai because you are operating in the faith of Yahweh by the illumination of scriptures. That impacts authority and dominion over the elements of the earth. This is your turn. You shall no more walk in darkness. Confusion is over in your life from today!

Influence and impact for the gospel is only possible when your light comes. But light is not cheap, it comes in the labour room of fasting. It is those pregnant with fasting that gives birth to spiritual understanding which we call light. See the expression “Then shall thy light break forth as the morning”, that connotes that it was hedged in until there is a force that catapults it out forcefully as it were. Fasting is that force that secures and breaks forth your light. Being lighted is your inheritance in HaMashiach but it takes fasting to see the realization. As you fast and pray, the prayer of Apostle Paul in Ephesians 1:17-18 is fulfilled in your life. That shall be your testimony!

REMEMBER: Fasting secures the breaking forth of spiritual understanding.

CONFESSION: My eyes of understanding are enlightened to know what is the hope of my calling and what is the riches of my inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of His power that is at work in me mightily. Halleluyah!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (5): BEST WAY TO PREPARE FOR THE RAPTURE

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many? and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Hebrews 9:28 (KJV)

“And unto them that look for him” is the requirement for the rapture. Unto them that yearn for him shall he appear the second time unto salutation. Beloved, are you longing for the return of the Lord Yahushua? The thought of the return of the Lord Yahushua is not a pleasant one for many. Young ladies on the line for marriage would say “let Him wait till I marry!” Same with young men on the line for marriage. So many believers want the Lord to delay His coming so they can achieve one thing or the other. They are not even desiring His coming let alone looking for it. The truth is that when you are living with a lot of worldliness, you would not desire His soon return. You are in love with the things of the world and for you His return is a distraction. Many believers would run away from pulpits that constantly remind them of the eminent return of the Lord. The ears of so many believers have started itching at the sound of Maranatha! (our Lord come!). Why? Because fasting has become a thing for pastors and ministers for so many believers. No wonder, worldliness has eaten into the very fabrics of our souls. This world now holds so much attraction and lure for many that there is no longer any difference between them and the world. In fact, they are now imitating the world.

Beloved, fasting is the only way to keep eternity in view on a consistent basis. Fasting offers you the opportunity to see the world as it truly is – reserved for fire (see II Peter 3:10). This world is already marked for demolition. All the houses and things that are occupying your fleeting time is already marked for demolition by fire. So many believers don’t even know this. The way they pursue this combustible materials to the point of cheating, lying and even killing is deplorable. I bet you that is reading this have not even come to this realization. If you have, then it would affect your reaction both to the things of the world and to sinners around you. II Peter 3:11 says, ‘Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness’ That is to say that if you come to the realization of the true state of this earth, it would compel an action from you; it would compel you to live holy and godly.

Beloved, the rapture is the next big event the world is waiting for. Immediately the rapture happens, everyone on earth will be compelled to receive the vaccination or whatever they will call it which is a mark of identification to enable you to return to your normal life, otherwise you would not be able to buy or sell or even work. The best way to ensure that worldliness does not have a hold on you is a life of consecrational fasting.

REMEMBER: It takes consecrational fasting to maintain your focus on the return of the Lord.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Please renew my zeal for your soon return as I fast in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: The hold of worldliness over your heart is broken now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (4): CONSECRATION TO THE LORD YAHUSHUA

Blow a trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly,
Joel 2:15 (NASB)

Your life as a believer is a consecration to our Lord and Saviour Yahushua HaMashiach. However, there is a difference between the potential and the reality. Most believers are living daily lives of filth and are being defeated by sin. Their lives is anything but a life of consecration. Why is this the case? The answer may not be far-fetched when you observe their daily lives. Fasting offers us the opportunity to consecrate our lives and to maintain that consecration. A believer’s consecration is probably highest during fasting. Romans 12:1 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” How do we present our bodies as living sacrifices to Adonai? It is through fasting. When you fast, you are consecrating your body to Adonai as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable. Until your body is on the altar, you cannot live a consecrated life. It is practically impossible. That is why the Lord Yahushua didn’t say “if you fast” in Matthew 6:16, rather He says “Moreover when ye fast”. He knows that you cannot walk acceptably with the Holy Spirit if your body is not laid at the altar as a living sacrifice.

Fasting is something you cannot avoid. One of my most cherished mentors, Bishop David Oyedepo said that “Fasting is a spiritual hardware without which the software would never work”. He went ahead to say that there is no software for fasting, it is all hardware. You desire to walk in holiness, then fasting is a non-negotiable hardware you must subscribe to. You desire to see any form of addiction humiliated in your life, then you must subscribe to fasting. Remember, it is not 24 hours or even three days fasting, we are talking about here. We are talking about at least 10 to 40 days fast. When you combine a life of consecrational fasting with Wisdom, you will walk in perfect dominion over sin and unrighteousness. There is no hold of sin that cannot be broken in a fast. If the Lord Yahushua says that “this kind does not go except by prayer and fasting” (Matthew 17:21), then it behoves us to know that to disarm “this kind” of whatever it may be would require fasting and prayer.

See! There is war that we are in against sin. It is a fight. Hebrews 12:4 (BBE) says, ‘Till now you have not given your blood in your fight against sin:’ No wonder the only potent instrument is fasting. What really keeps us from sin is the word of Yahweh (see Psalms 119:9,11) but until you see it, you cannot become it. In fasting, light dawns on your spirit, illuminating your spirit-man to know what is the hope of your calling and when light comes, darkness naturally looses its grips on its victims.

REMEMBER: In fasting light from the Word breaks in your spirit, causing you to walk in sanctification.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to live a fasted life where my body is constantly at the altar as a living sacrifice in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that whatever that does not please Adonai drops off your life as you fast in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

WHAT FASTING OFFERS (3): PHYSIOLOGICAL CLEANSING OF THE BODY (B)

Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness for those trained by it.
Hebrews 12:11 (NASB)

Fasting is a physiological process and would rid the body of most diseases. We are going to see some scientifically backed process that happens in our body when we fast. They include as we continue from yesterday:
1. Increases Growth Hormone Secretion, Which Is Vital for Growth, Metabolism, Weight Loss and Muscle Strength: Human growth hormone (HGH) is a type of protein hormone that is central to many aspects of your health. In fact, research shows that this key hormone is involved in growth, metabolism, weight loss and muscle strength (¹⁰, ¹¹, ¹², ¹³). Several studies have found that fasting could naturally increase HGH levels. One study in 11 healthy adults showed that fasting for 24 hours significantly increased levels of HGH.¹⁴ Another small study in nine men found that fasting for just two days led to a 5-fold increase in the HGH production rate.¹⁵ Plus, fasting may help maintain steady blood sugar and insulin levels throughout the day, which may further optimize levels of HGH, as some research has found that sustaining increased levels of insulin may reduce HGH levels.¹⁶
2. Could Delay Aging and Extend Longevity: Several animal studies have found promising results on the potential lifespan-extending effects of fasting. In one study, rats that fasted every other day experienced a delayed rate of aging and lived 83% longer than rats that didn’t fast.¹⁷ Other animal studies have had similar findings, reporting that fasting could be effective in increasing longevity and survival rates (¹⁸, ¹⁹, ²⁰).
3. May Aid in Cancer Prevention and Increase the Effectiveness of Chemotherapy: Animal and test-tube studies indicate that fasting may benefit the treatment and prevention of cancer. In fact, one rat study found that alternate-day fasting helped block tumor formation.²¹ Similarly, a test-tube study showed that exposing cancer cells to several cycles of fasting was as effective as chemotherapy in delaying tumor growth and increased the effectiveness of chemotherapy drugs on cancer formation.²²
If you however, have a serious organic ailment, fast under the watch of your medical doctor. The author has read of cancer testimonies disappearing after long fast. Apply wisdom and be sensitive both to your health and the Holy Spirit.

REMEMBER: There are unquantifiable health benefits from fasting.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word to me today. I receive grace not to be a hearer only but to be a doer of the work that fasting requires in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
