HOW PROSPERITY STARTS – PROSPERITY OF YOUR SPIRIT

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
III John 1:2 (KJV)

We have said that prosperity died in Adam at the fall. Sin killed the human race and consequently prosperity died. From that time, poverty began to prevail in the affairs of the people. Satan and sin has prevailed to bring the scourge of poverty to the human race. Prosperity has died with the man because of sin. Every effort of man to break even in life, was fiercely resisted by Satan because man was now under his dominion. Poverty is an affliction of Satan as punishment to man for having a relationship with Yahweh in the first place. He is so furious that he began resisting the efforts of the man to provide for himself and family. Also poverty was a function of the curse of Yahweh on the ground because of the sin of man. So, sin and Satan are responsible for the scourge of poverty on earth. However, that is not the end of the story. Yahweh did something about the situation because Satan cannot win. Satan cannot have the final say in the life of man. Man was in-charge of the earth but out of envy for the man, Satan instigated him against his maker just to gain the dominion that was once man’s. Satan did succeed. Satan did obtain man’s dominion and became the god of this world. II Corinthians 4:3-4 says, “3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

THE ORIGIN OF YOUR PROSPERITY (B)

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Genesis 12:2 (KJV)

When we talk of roots, we are referring to the sources or fountain upon which something derives its legitimacy. We are saying that by your source, you are a person of prosperity. Considering your origin and source, you have no connection with empty-handedness and poverty. We are saying that poverty is a function of sin and the fall. From the beginning poverty was never the contemplation of Yahweh the creator. We have said yesterday that from your roots in Adam and Noah, you are a person of prosperity. Let us continue today by considering thirdly that your Abrahamic roots forbids existence in poverty. Yahweh called Abraham and blessed him and made a covenant of blessing with him and his seed. Genesis 17:10 says, “This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.” Understand that this covenant is to Abraham and to his seed. Galatians 3:16 says, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many? but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” HaMashiach is the seed of Abraham to whom this covenant of blessing belongs to. You may not and need not be of the Israelite stock according to the flesh to partake of this covenant. Galatians 3:29 says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Once you are in HaMashiach, you are plugged into this covenant and this covenant forbids existence in poverty and empty-handedness. By your connection to the Abrahamic root, through your relationship with the Lord Yahushua, you are a person of prosperity. Oh may the Lord open your eyes to see this reality today.

PROSPERITY DEFINED

PROSPERITY DEFINED

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2 [KJV]

Prosperity has been mostly misunderstood among brethren. Prosperity is not having plenty money in your bank account; that may be part of it. Prosperity is not living large and luxuriously. Kingdom Prosperity is a whole world different from what prosperity means to an unsaved person. Prosperity to the world means accumulation of wealth. It means keeping what you have and growing it. But that is not what Kingdom prosperity is all about. Let us look at the original language rendering of prosperity both in Hebrew and Greek languages. The Hebrew is the original language of the Old Testament scriptures. The Greek is the original language of the New Testament. The Hebrew word for prosperity is transliterated “tob”; pronounced “tobe”. It means good, pleasant, agreeable (adjective). It is something pleasant, agreeable to the senses. It is pleasant to the higher nature. It is something good, excellent of its kind. It is good, rich, valuable in estimation. It is good, appropriate, becoming. It is better (comparatively). It is glad, happy, prosperous of man’s sensuous nature. It is good understanding of man’s intellectual nature. Prosperity in Hebrew (rendering it in masculine/feminine noun) is a good thing, benefit, welfare, prosperity, bounty and morally good. You see that the scriptural perspective of prosperity is completely different from what most people perceive when they hear that word. It is not a money word. It is not exclusively a wealth word. So if the way you are getting your money is not good morally, then you are not prospering. If the source of your wealth is not good, then you are not in prosperity. This is very critical to understand.

WHAT IS THE YAHWEH SAYING FOR AUGUST 2022?

WHAT IS THE YAHWEH SAYING FOR AUGUST 2022?

And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
Zechariah 2:4 [KJV]

Wow! Glory be to the Father for the privilege of seeing a New Month. Welcome to the month of August 2022 and Happy New Month to you Beloved! We believe the month of July was in all ramifications an encounter month with the principles and spirit of faith. We hope that you have had an encounter that is lasting a life-time for you. There is nothing that gives you your own place of rest in the year of existing in the Still Waters and Green Pastures like faith. Hebrews 4:3 asserts that “For we who have believed enter that rest,” meaning that until your faith is on display, your rest expectation is a mirage. This is why the subject of faith is a must for anyone that desires rest. Also your victory is only at the instance of faith. I John 5:4 says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” Victory in any conflict of life answers to faith. When your faith is on fire, your victory is very sure. The size of the opposition notwithstanding, your triumph is unstoppable at the instance of your faith, “for the just shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2:4). Faith is an individual treasure. Faith is like the heart in the body system. Each individual exists with his/her own heart. The end of a person comes the day his/her heart fails. The same is true spiritually. When your faith fails, you are out. Yahushua asked a question in Luke 18:8, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Faith sees to your victorious adventure on earth and your glorious entrance into eternity with Yahweh. May you be found in faith when that trumpet shall sound or at the end of your adventure on earth. May your faith never fail in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

THANKFUL FOR JULY 2021

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:7 [KJV]

Today is the end of July 2021. From the 1st of July till today, we have seen the goodness and mercies of the Lord in all ramifications of our lives and for that we are most grateful to the Lord Yahweh. We have come today to thank Him for the success of the month of July. In case, you cannot see anything to thank Yahweh for – I know such a person will not be reading this now; let me remind you that not all that saw 1st of July 2021 are alive today to see the 31st of July 2021. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed (see Lamentations 3:22). We owe Him thanks today. For the victories of faith in the month of July, we owe Elohim thanks. Also, our attitude of thanksgiving determines, what the next month will be for us. Let us explore more on the benefits of thanksgiving.

Our text says that we should abound with thanksgiving. The Greek word translated abounding is ‘perisseuo’ meaning to superabound (in quantity or quality), be in excess, be superfluous; also (transitively) to cause to superabound or excel. You see that the English word abounding did not capture the Greek rendering. What the text is saying in essence is that we should superabound with quality and quantity thanksgiving, and allow our thanksgiving to be in excess. This is beyond theology

THE SPIRIT OF FAITH

THE SPIRIT OF FAITH

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
II Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)

There is the spirit of Faith. The spirit of faith is a speaking spirit that enables you to speak the word of Yahweh before any situation. The spirit of faith empowers you to say what is written in spite of the happenings. The spirit of faith is faith operating from your spirit. It is faith irrespective of the climate insisting for a turnaround and not repudiating until it is delivered. There is a difference between the word of Faith and the Spirit of Faith. The Word of Faith gives you light to enable you act on it. The Spirit of Faith moves you to act on the word. The Spirit drives you (see Mark 1:12). When the spirit of Faith is in operation, reasoning is deactivated. The Spirit of Faith drives you to achieve the purpose of Yahweh and will not stop until it is achieved. In Numbers chapters 13 and 14, we saw the story of the twelve spies sent by Moses and their report. All twelve of them saw the same thing, but they reported differently. What was the difference? In Numbers 14:24 says, ‘But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.’ That another spirit is the spirit of faith. From this story, let us briefly outline what the spirit of offers:

THE TRAGEDY OF FAITHLESSNESS

THE TRAGEDY OF FAITHLESSNESS

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved? but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mark 16:16 (KJV)

Faith is not just a treasure but not possessing faith is a tragedy. It is very dangerous to be faithless. It is deadly to exist without faith. It is calamitous to function in life outside of faith in Yahweh. One of the motivations of pursuing faith is not just for the victories that it holds for you but also for the dangers that existing without it holds for you. Firstly, without faith, your eternity is in the lake of fire (see Revelation 21:8), then, you exist without eternal life on earth (see John 3:36), then a life full of natural limitations and frustrations (see Matthew 8:26), then a life barren of the help of Yahweh (see 2 Chronicles 25:8), also a life at the mercy of Satan and his agents (see Luke 13:16), etc. The list is almost inexhaustible but for space, we shall be explaining the above-mentioned.

What are the tragedies of faithlessness?

FAITH FACILITATORS (PART 2): HAVING NO ALTERNATIVES

FAITH FACILITATORS (PART 2): HAVING NO ALTERNATIVES

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Psalms 62:5 (KJV)

When it stops being Yahweh only, your expectation will be frustrated. Why? Because Isaiah 42:8 says, “I am the Lord; that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” Except you let Him have it all, He’s not interested at all! Anything you desire, and for which you have an alternative source, makes Yahweh withdraw. He is a jealous Yahweh! He withdraws when anybody comes on the scene to help Him. So, He warns us in Exodus 20:4-5, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any grave image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.” Graven images represent personalities, certificates, self, etc. Every time it stops being Yahweh alone, you have missed it.

FAITH FACILITATORS (PART 1): EXISTING WITH A GOOD CONSCIENCE (D)

FAITH FACILITATORS (PART 1): EXISTING WITH A GOOD CONSCIENCE (D)

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
Acts 24:16 (KJV)

To wrap up on conscience, we are going to see how that it takes exercising your conscience to maintain a Good Conscience. A good conscience is exercised. Paul told Felix that in our text. Our conscience, like our muscles, must be exercised. If our conscience lies dormant and is not exercised, then it becomes an evil conscience. Hebrews 5:13,14 describes this: “For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

Each of our physical senses can be exercised to an amazing degree of proficiency. People can be taught to hear better or to see clearer. Some people have an amazing sense of touch. Even the sense of taste can be trained to a marvelous degree of proficiency. In the same way our spiritual senses—our spiritual sight, our spiritual hearing, our spiritual taste—must be exercised if we’re going to have discernment, and this involves conscience.
