WHAT IS IN DIVINE DIRECTION FOR YOU (2): OPPOSITIONS ARE TAKEN OUT

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
II Thessalonians 1:6 (KJV)

When you follow divine direction, oppositions to your Yahweh-ordained inheritance are taken care of by Yahweh. Yahweh takes your enemies down for your sake. It is a righteous thing with Yahweh to smite all that rise up against you (see II Thessalonians 1:6). Even Yahushua had to surrender himself otherwise no hands could be laid on Him. Those that came to arrest the Lord Yahushua had to fall before him. They couldn’t stand his presence. No man could harm Yahushua until He surrendered himself for the cross. John 18:4-6 showed us that, ‘4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? 5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. 6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.’ You are indomitable walking in the will of Yahweh; following divine direction for your life. I Peter 3:13 says, ‘And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?’ You are unconquerable following divine direction because all the powers of heaven are at your disposal to handle any satanic uprisings. You don’t struggle to reign and rule following divine direction.

WHAT IS IN DIVINE DIRECTION FOR YOU (1): EXISTENCE IN THE STILL WATERS

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psalms 23:2 [KJV]

There is a place of existence besides the still waters. It is a place of peace, calm and unfathomable tranquillity. It is a place of supernatural comfort and rest. The still waters of destiny is a real place but it is only reserved for those that are led by Yahweh’s Spirit. The still waters is that place where the Lord takes over your battles. Yahweh through the prophetic told Jehoshaphat and Judah to set themselves. II Chronicles 20:17 says, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.” Do you want to see the salvation of the Lord, then it behoves on you to be diligent to access divine direction. That leading into the still waters for Jehoshaphat and Judah came out of a three days fast. These things don’t fall into one’s lap, you have to reach out and lay hold on them. The challenge is not if there is a place where one can enjoy the still waters of Yahweh. The challenge we have today is taking responsibility like King Jehoshaphat and Judah did to ask direction from the Lord. But Beloved, there is no way around it. If you desire to exist around the still waters, divine direction is the way there.

JOY TO THE WORLD – MERRY YAHUSHUA BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luke 2:10 (KJV)

Luke 2:6-7 says, ‘6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.’ The groping in the dark was finally over. The Way was born. Angels heralded it with joy. Luke 2:8-15, ‘8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.’

QUALIFICATION TO BE LED (7): NO PRECONCEIVED OPTIONS

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
Ezekiel 14:3 (KJV)

Ezekiel 14:4 says, ‘Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;’ Yahweh is saying that don’t come to seek for my direction if you already have option in your heart. You have decided what to do then you come to the Lord and say “Lord, what do you want me to do about so so and so?” Meanwhile, you have already made up your mind on what you are doing. That attitude blocks you from ever accessing divine direction. You must come to the Lord with open mind like a baby who truly does not know what to do concerning the area you are seeking direction from Yahweh. Yahweh says, if you have your preconceived ways and you come to make a fool of Yahweh, then He will make a fool of you. He will answer you according to your heart. You know what that means? He will okay whatever you have made up your mind to do even if it will take your life, He would not disturb you. He is answering you according to your heart.

QUALIFICATION TO BE LED (6): PRAISE LIFESTYLE

Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel.
Isaiah 30:29 (KJV)

It is a spiritual reality that having a song facilitates hearing from Yahweh. At a point, the prophet Elisha needed to know what Yahweh was saying to the kings that came to inquire of the Lord about the journey they were undertaking. In II Kings 3:15 Prophet Elisha requested that a minstrel be brought to him and as the minstrel played the hand of the Lord came upon the Prophet and he prophesied. Praise is Yahweh’s habitat. When praise is available the presence of Yahweh is invoked and when Adonai is available, then His voice can be heard. Anyone that desires to get divine direction must strive to provide the atmosphere for the presence of Yahweh. You must run away from any form of gloom, anger, boredom, depression and weariness. These are enemies of Yahweh’s presence. Do you know that in the ancient times, you dare not appear before a king with a sad face. That is automatic death sentence. It is considered as treason. How are kings welcomed? By singing and dancing and rejoicing. Earthly kings learnt those protocols from Yahweh. You cannot have access to the presence of Yahweh with a gloomy heart and face. You want direction from Yahweh? Then you need to enter His presence first.

QUALIFICATION TO BE LED (4): BE IN FAITH

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Romans 4:17 (KJV)

Yahweh spoke about Abraham, ‘For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.’ That is before Yahweh ever start speaking to a person, he checks if you believe Him enough to regard what He is going to tell you. Yahweh was going to check if what He heard about the people of Sodom was truly how they were and He passed through the house of Abraham. Then Yahweh said to Himself ‘And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;’ Adonai saw that Abraham believes everything He tells him so it evoked His desire to confide in Abraham what He was going to do in Sodom. Beloved, faith is a crucial qualification to access divine direction. Yahweh does not speak to those who make light of His Word. If Yahweh’s Word is not a matter of life and death for you then you would not be able to access it. You must believe El-Shaddai enough to act on whatever He tells you to do.

QUALIFICATION TO BE LED (3): BE IN AND WALK IN LOVE

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:15 (KJV)

John 14:16-17 says, ‘16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.’ The context of this scripture shows us that your ability to walk with the Holy Spirit is conditioned upon you loving the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. You can see that loving the Lord Yahushua is not a thing of saying “I love You Lord” that may definitely be included but loving the Lord is keeping his commandments. Keeping the commandments of Yahweh is in two folds. Firstly, is to believe in the Son of Yahweh Yahushua HaMashiach. I John 3:23 says, ‘And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.’ This is the first step towards keeping the new covenant commandment. The rationale is that a dead person does not keep any commandment. Without coming to the life quickening Spirit Yahushua HaMashiach to be quickened, you are permanently dead in trespasses and condemned to eternal damnation (see Colossians 2:13). The dead has no business with the living. You cannot communicate with the Holy Spirit, if your spirit is dead, therefore divine direction does not pertain to such a person.

KNOW YAHWEH’S LEADING (5): BY VISIONS

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
Acts 16:9 (KJV)

Vision in this context is the experience where Yahweh opens your eyes to see something while your eyes maybe open or closed. Open vision is where your physical eyes are not closed but you see into the spiritual realm. Visions can come while you are sleeping or while you are awake. Yahweh does not lead us through vision primarily. Visions come as confirmation of what Yahweh is telling us on our inside. Visions are never to lead the church. Visions are judged by the Word of Yahweh just like prophecy. The coming of the Holy Spirit sparked off an era of visionary encounters. Acts 2:17 says, ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:’

KNOW YAHWEH’S LEADING (4): BY PROPHECY

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Ephesians 4:11 (KJV)

There is a spiritual gift of prophecy (see I Corinthians 12:10) and there is the office of the prophet or the ministry gift of the prophet. The spiritual gift of Prophecy is simply speaking to exhort the brethren. It does not involve foretelling. I Corinthians 14:3 says, ‘But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.’ Anyone that is filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues can be used to prophesy. Apostle Paul encouraged believers to desire the gift of prophecy (see I Corinthians 14:1). Then we have the office or ministry of the prophet. For one to function in the office of the prophet, he would have to have the gift of discerning of Spirit, The gift of the Word of Knowledge, the gift of the Word of Wisdom and the gift of prophecy at work in his life. The ministry of the prophet involves foretelling. Prophecy in whatever form is not the primary way Yahweh leads in the New Testament. Prophecy is only to confirm what the Lord has already told you by the inward witness. The Lord didn’t place prophets in the New Testament to lead believers.

TO ACCESS HOLY SPIRIT’S VOICE (4): RISE UP EARLY

The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:4 (KJV)

Heaven has broadcasting times and seasons. The above scriptures suggests that. If the Lord Himself, awakens someone morning by morning, it means that there is something about the morning that is critical to hearing the broadcast of heaven. When is the best time to hear from the Holy Spirit one may ask. Psalms 19:2 says, “Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.” For everything, there is a time and a season (see Ecclesiastes 3:1). Broadcast stations have programme schedules for all their programmes. If the prime news hour is 7 a.m. each day and you tune in at 8 a.m, you can no longer catch the news. You’ve missed it for that day. All you can do is to settle for second hand information, which is not the same as hearing it by yourself. So also, hearing from God has its own time and season. And if you know when He attends to people, it becomes cheap to receive direction from Him. The exploits in Jesus’ ministry was founded on, “As I hear, so I judge…” (see John 5:30). But how was this possible? He had an understanding of times and seasons. He knew when best to get His Father’s attention.
