THE WORD BUILDS YOU UP (3): BY IMPARTING THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Colossians 1:9 [KJV]

The Knowledge of Yahweh’s Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding is the goldmine that when you hit it, your life and world turns around 360 degrees instantly. Coming to the knowledge of His Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding is so crucial that you should be praying like Apostle Paul both for yourself and especially for your family members to come to this dimension in the Word. The Knowledge of His Will in all Wisdom and spiritual understanding means coming to know the will of Yahweh and being filled with the spiritual understanding to process it as it relates to you and receiving the Wisdom to apply it to your life in order to come into the reality of what it is saying. Firstly is knowing the Will of Yahweh and the Will of Yahweh is what is in the Word, the Bible. The Bible is the Will of Yahweh for you the believer. The Will defines your inheritance and allotments; that is exactly what the Word does, showing you what belongs to you in HaMashiach and the path to take to take delivery of it. Knowing the Will of Yahweh is critical because, you can only act according to knowledge. But then, knowledge alone is not enough.

TO ENCOUNTER THE WORD (4): STAY LONG ON THE WORD

They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
Proverbs 23:30 (KJV)

No matter how light a person is, no one gets intoxicated with one cup of wine. Conversely, no matter how hard a person is, tarrying long at the wine will pass even the hardest person out. That is true with the Word. Just skipping a few pages, won’t achieve the result we are describing this month. It is tarrying long with the Word that brings about saturation. There is what is called saturation. It is the act of soaking thoroughly with a liquid. You cannot encounter the Word with a measure that cannot even satisfy you. Before you talk of saturation, then you have gone beyond satisfaction. But you are still in control at the level of satisfaction. We are talking of the level where you are no more in control. We are saying, stay long with the Word until the Word takes a hold of you and begins to control you and your actions. We are saying that the Word cannot saturate you in the skimpy way that you are handling the Word now. The principle of intoxication is staying long at the wine of the Word. Isaiah 5:11 confirms that it takes staying long at wine to be inflamed therewith, “Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!”

HOW TO PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK (1): BY CONFESSION

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mark 11:23 (KJV)

There is the law of faith that you must learn today. This law of faith states that CONFESSION OF THE PROMISES OF YAHWEH COMES BEFORE POSSESSION OF THE PROMISES. We must learn this law if we are going to be successful. I boldly declare and confess Yahweh’s Word, then and only then do I possess the promised blessing or benefit. I make my lips do the work. I give the Word its place. I take sides with the Word. If I side in with the disease and pain, there is no healing for me. But I repudiate the disease and the sickness with my words, which are an expression of my faith in Yahweh’s Word. My confession gives me possession.

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (7): BY KNOWING THE AUTHORITY IN THE NAME OF THE LORD YAHUSHUA

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)

We should know that authority as a reality in our own lives. The authority you have in the Name of Yahushua is just as though some wealthy man gave you the power to use his name in an unlimited capacity. What effect would it have if he gave you a legal document? What if he said to use this legal document in order to supply every one of your needs? What if you could do anything you wanted to do in that man’s name! Well, Yahweh has given us the power of attorney to use the Name of Yahushua. This means we have power in that Name over Satan and all the gates of hell. Yahushua said, “. . . In my name … they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (see Mark 16:17,18). Yahushua said, “… whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” (John 15:16). We have authority to use that Name. The Name of Yahushua carries authority on this earth. It is not a matter of faith, but it is a matter of knowing your legal rights in HaMashiach and taking your rightful place as a son or daughter. It is a matter of taking your place in carrying out Yahushua’s will in the earth. Getting us to cooperate with Yahweh is the biggest problem!

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (6): BY KNOWING THE REALITY OF OUR FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
I John 1:3 (KJV)

The very core reason for redemption is fellowship. 1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 says, ‘God is faithful, by whom ye were called UNTO THE FELLOWSHIP OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.’ Notice, you were called unto fellowship with Yahweh’s Son, Yahushua HaMashiach. The Greek word for fellowship in our text is ‘koinonia’. It means joint participation, communion, intercourse, intimacy. This is literally saying that we are in intercourse with the Father, and with His Son Yahushua HaMashiach. This is the highest honour for the human spirit. The highest honour that the Father has ever conferred upon us is to be “joint-fellowshippers” with Himself, with His Son, and with the Holy Spirit in carrying out His dream for the redemption of the human race. But relationship without fellowship is an insipid thing. It is like the marriage relationship without love or fellowship. Fellowship is the very mother of faith. And fellowship is the parent of joy. It is the source of victory. And Yahweh has called us individually into fellowship with His Son. If you have fellowship with Yahweh and you are walking in the light as He is in the light, then prayer becomes one of the sweetest and one of the greatest assets to which we have become heirs in HaMashiach.

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (5): BY KNOWING THE REALITY OF THE INDWELLING PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
I John 4:4 (KJV)

Of all the mighty truths connected with redemption, this is the apex: Yahweh Himself, after He recreated us and made us new creatures and made us His own, is actually making our bodies His home! When you are born again, it is more than an experience. The Holy Ghost, the Third Person of the Godhead, a divine Personality, comes to live in you. In fact, the Bible even goes so far as to say that Yahweh Himself is living in you. 2 CORINTHIANS 6:16 says, ‘16 … for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell IN them, and walk IN them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.’ Yahweh no longer dwells in the man-made Holy of Holies. Through the new birth, our bodies have become His temple.

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (4): BY KNOWING THE REALITY OF OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

II Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)

This area of righteousness is one of the major arsenals of the devil against the faith of most believers in HaMashiach because they lack the understanding of our righteousness in HaMashiach. Firstly, at new birth, you were born righteous because you took after your father. It is same DNA in your father Yahweh that runs in you. Yahweh is righteous and that nature of righteousness is what you were born with (see 1 Peter 1:23; John 1:13). At new birth, you are not trying to be righteous, you were born that way. The challenge for most people is that this nature of righteousness is only in your spirit because man is a spirit which has a soul and lives in a body. Your soul/mind was not born again. Your body was not born again. So without educating your mind with the word of Yahweh and disciplining your body, you can never manifest this righteousness practically (see Romans 12:1-2; I Corinthians 9:27). In Yahushua HaMashiach you are perfect, righteous and holy. You are complete in Him (see Colossians 2:10). You must educate your mind and discipline your body to conform to this new nature in your spirit. Sometimes, you may fall short but as soon as that happens, confess your sin and fall back in line with that your nature of righteousness.

HOW DOES YAHWEH-KIND OF FAITH COME? (3): BY KNOWING THE REALITY OF YOUR NEW CREATION STATUS

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away? behold, all things are become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Our redemption has a legal side which is very crucial for you to understand in order to stand in liberty and command of faith. You need to know that in the mind of Justice, we were recreated in Yahushua HaMashiach. This means that the justice for sin demands death. When HaMashiach died, the new creation died in and with Yahushua HaMashiach. In the death of Yahushua HaMashiach on the cross, the demand of Justice was fully satisfied. Halleluyah! That is not the end of the Story. Yahushua HaMashiach went to hell on our behalf and collected the key that Adam surrendered to Satan back. He was raised up on the third day with Zoe – the Yahweh-kind of life and as many as surrender to Him, He quickens (recreates and gives life) to their spirits.

IS THERE ANY CONTRADICTION BETWEEN FAITH AND WORK?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:20 (KJV)

Romans 3:27-28 (BBE) says, ‘What reason, then, is there for pride? It is shut out. By what sort of law? of works? No, but by a law of faith. For this reason, then, a man may get righteousness by faith without the works of the law.’ Apostle Paul is saying that you don’t need the works of the law to emerge the righteousness of Yahweh in HaMashiach. That the works of the law cannot get you saved, only faith in Yahushua HaMashiach can. James 2:26 (NET) says, ‘For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.’ Apostle James is saying that if your faith in Yahushua HaMashiach does not produce good works, that your faith is dead. Now, the question is: Is there a conflict between the view of Apostle Paul and Apostle James? The answer is emphatically NO. There is no conflict whatsoever between the views of these Apostles. They are saying two different things and it is important you understand it.

FAITH COMES

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 (KJV)

Faith is the gift that the Holy Spirit imparts to your spirit upon hearing the gospel of Yahushua HaMashiach. So faith comes primarily by hearing the Word of HaMashiach. Someone had said that the second hearing in our text is understanding; so that the text could read faith comes by hearing and understanding the word of HaMashiach without doing the text any injustice. It is not anything that you hear that gives you faith; it is hearing the word of HaMashiach. So, you must be careful of what you hear. You are absolutely responsible for what enters your ears or what you see. Some hearing imparts fear. Just as faith comes by hearing the Word of HaMashiach, fear comes by hearing the word of Satan and evil people. So guarding what you hear becomes very paramount.
