The first thing and place in the life of a believer in Yahushua HaMashiach is the Lord Himself. When you consider the sacrifice of love which He paid to purchase our redemption then, it is just due Him anyway. Coming to HaMashiach is encountering His love for you and responding with a yes to that love. It is like how a man woos a woman. When the woman finally says yes to the man, she is saying yes to the man, not his car, house and property. She is saying yes to the heart that won her heart in the first place. Yahushua HaMashiach paid a gruesome price for our salvation and when anyone of us respond to that great love, He Yahushua becomes his/her first love. Why first love, because you never existed before. The believer is a new creation that never existed before. Your first breath in the new life that Yahushua bought and brought for us is Yahushua Himself. He is the first person you meet as you come to life from spiritual death. So He becomes your first love.
If you have ever been born again genuinely. If you have ever met with Yahushua HaMashiach, you would confirm that there is that joy and excitement like that of a teenager that just falls in love with her prince-charming. You want to tell everyone that could lend you their ears about how wonderful Yahushua is and how He has changed your life. This is the experience of all that have genuinely and heartily met with the Lord Yahushua in the new birth. Oh how sweet that early feelings of salvation and love experience with the Lord is! You want to just be in the presence of the Lord. You want to tell everyone about the wonderful salvation that you have just received. Going to fellowship is something you always look forward to. You love and respect your pastor and brethren deeply. Serving in any capacity is your passion and you don’t mind or even see what others are doing or not doing.
This was exactly the situation of the Church at Ephesus. They loved the Lord, laboured and didn’t faint in the service of the kingdom. But then, in the process of time, activity replaced unction, passion for the Lord started waning down until it was completely gone. But you see brethren, your first love is your real love. When you let it go, the Lord considers that backsliding. Revelation 2:5 says ‘remember therefore from whence thou art fallen and repent …’ That means your first love is your real faith. Your first love for the Lord is your real standing and when it is gone, it is seen by the Lord as having gone back to the world. Now how many in the Church today still have their first love for the Lord intact? Beloved, this is a call to repentance today before it is too late. Seek earnestly to come back to your first love for the Lord and aggressively maintain it because it will determine if you will be raptured or not.
REMEMBER: Your first love for the Lord is your real faith and standing before the Lord Yahushua, losing it is considered backsliding.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I repent of losing my first love experience in You. I ask that you rekindle the passion, the affection, the intimacy that I had with You when I first believed. Help me to burn hot for you in these last days in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: Today marks a new beginning in your walk with the Lord. I decree a freshness in your spirit now, fresh passion, hunger and closeness with the Lord be released upon you now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three? but the greatest of these is charity.

The love of Yahweh is superior to any other spiritual virtue or fruit. Some fruit of the Spirit will only be needed as long as we are in this earthly tabernacle, but once we check out to our eternal home, they cease to be needed anymore. Our text says that faith, hope and love will remain. That means that they’ll last till the end. However the greatest of them is love. The Yahweh-kind of love is superior and reigns supreme over faith and hope. Put another way, faith and hope will be impotent and ineffectual without the love of Yahweh.
Faith works by love according to Galatians 5:6 (KJV). Faith is the force or spiritual virtue that brings the power of Yahweh to bear on earth. Without faith it is impossible to please Yahweh (see Hebrews 11:6). Without faith we can never see the hand of Yahweh at work on the earth (see Isaiah 53:1). So, faith is our connection to the power of Yahwed. Isn’t that powerful? Faith should be the highest virtue then. But capital NO. Faith as mighty as it is cannot deliver without love. Faith is completely useless without the Yahweh-kind of love in operation. You see why your faith has failed to deliver for you is because the activator of faith is absent. The Yahweh-kind of love is the activator of faith.
Hope is the confident expectation of future salvation. Hope is also a prerequisite for faith to work because faith is the substance of things hoped for. Hope on its own has no power apart from the fact that it gives substance to faith and without that substance faith is barren too. So these three faith, hope and love remain but as good as faith and hope is, both are utterly useless without love. Love therefore is supreme and anyone who desires to reign in life and win always must subscribe to the Yahweh-kind of Love. Living by love, therefore, is not an option for anyone who desires to reign both in time and eternity, rather it is mandatory and compulsory. Beloved, Yahweh created you to reign over Satan and his agents but the instrument for your superiority over them is the Yahweh-kind of Love. Determine not to live a second more outside the love of Yahweh. Have you heard “built to last”? That is from manufacturing, it was configured to endure the challenges that will come against it and stay for a very long time. For human, the Yahweh-kind of love is what makes you a built-to-last entity. No power can cut you short one second before your time. That is how superior a force divine love is. No spiritual virtue dares. Selah!
REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love supersedes all other spiritual virtues.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. Thank You for opening my eyes to see why my faith has not been working. Help me to live by love. From today, your love dominates me and flows to my world in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: Today marks the last day that your faith fails to produce. I decree that as you walk by love, speedy deliveries of expectations shall be your portion in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

The first and greatest commandment according to Matthew 22:36-39, “36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” is to love Yahweh our Lord God. Coming right after that is to love our neighbour. In explaining who our neighbour is, the Lord Yahushua used the example of a total stranger to a Samaritan traveller, in fact someone that was considered an outcast. To a Jew of Yahushua’s day, a Samaritan is an outcast, someone that is of the mixed breed that is not worthy of association or relationship. When that Samaritan came, he helped the wounded man and took him to hospital, paid his fees and upkeep. That was the second greatest commandment to love our neighbour. Beloved, the Yahweh-kind of love is something that suppose to flow from you to the people you meet in the marketplace of life. As you go about your business or career’s activities, you are supposed to radiate the love of Yahweh to the people in your world. The marketplace of life is full of people that are hurting and broken. So many are in pains as a result of hidden illness and affliction. So many are having marital challenges that are wrecking their emotional life. What an opportunity to shine the love of Yahushua to their lives. The marketplace of life is a big opportunity for the believer to show that the divine love in him can win the world. Even the most stubborn hardened heart can be won by the meekness and patience of divine love.
Manifesting divine love in the marketplace is taking the place of service. Be the one who volunteers first to get that task done especially when all others are likely to hesitate. Take an interest in others at work. Be known to care for people’s welfare.
REMEMBER: The marketplace of life is the best place after the family to shine divine love.
CONFESSION: I am born of divine love and supernaturally equipped to release love to the people in my world. Halleluyah!

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4 (KJV)
The Yahweh-kind of love says, that fathers should not provoke their children to wrath but to bring them up in the teaching and fear of the Lord (see Ephesians 6:4 BBE). It is unfortunate how fathers in our day are too busy to teach their children but are too quick to discipline. You have no right to discipline a child you have not taught. That is wickedness. Discipline is correction to ensure there is no deviation from instruction. How can you discipline without first giving instruction? That is exactly what our text is saying, do not provoke your children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
It is okay to discipline your children, that is what Yahweh-kind of love does. Problems 23:13-14 (KJV) says, ‘13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.’ Yahweh our Father corrects, rebukes and disciplines us because He had before given us instruction. When we obey, we receive his blessings and commendation. You as a father should be like that. Give instruction. Teach your children what you expect them to be according to the Word of Yahweh. Set the standard for them according to the Word of Yahweh and be there to apply commendation and correction. The Word says that a child left to himself brings shame to his parents (see Proverbs 29:15 ). Love commends, rebukes and corrects. Don’t pamper your children when you are supposed to bring out the cane and let him/her feel it but let it be in response to an offence committed in clear defiance of instruction given. Make the child understand whey the punishment or discipline is coming. Also be quick to commend your children when they are doing well. Buy them gifts and take them out to encourage them in the right that they are doing. Don’t paint a wrong picture of Yahweh to your children as one that is only looking for fault to discipline. No, that is not Yahweh. Let the Yahweh-kind of love flow in your home.
As a wife, you should partner with your husband in enforcing discipline. It is not love to side with your child. If you ever think that your husband is going too far at any particular time, then, talk about it in your bedroom and agree with your husband. But at all times for discipline to be effective, husband and wife must present united front before their children. The objective must be very clear and that is to provide this child a Yahweh-kind of love environment for his destiny to develop and thrive. It is an impossibility for a child to pass through a Yahweh-kind of love home and not turn out right. Love cannot fail. There is a guarantee by the Word of Yahweh that if you as parents will make the Yahweh-kind of love your quest in your home, everything will shift supernaturally and that includes your finances, your careers, your children and your destinies. Shalom!
REMEMBER: Real love instructs, commends and corrects.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I ask for grace to manifest the Yahweh-kind of love to my children in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: None of your children will be a disgrace of the power of love at work in your life and family in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

The first place that the characteristics of the Yahweh-kind of love manifests is in the family between husband and wife, then extends to the children and then to the Church and society at large. This is why the failure of people to function in the Yahweh-kind of love in their family has resulted in the high rate of disintegration of families these days. The scripture is littered with instructions to love our spouses. It is only the Yahweh-kind of love that can hold marriage together making it a heaven-on-earth experience of a home. Submission is a function of humility and patience which are all characteristics of the Yahweh-kind of love. When the wife is told to submit to her own husband, it is another way of telling the wife to love their husbands. Titus 2:4-5 brought it out clearly, “ 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” When you love your husband, as a wife, you would be kind, obedient, patient, courteous, generous and appreciating him for the things he does for you and the family. The author has seen from experience as a pastor counselling numerous people that a godly woman is the best blessing a man can receive. Just as the scripture says in II Peter 3:1-2, “ 1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands? that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives? 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.”; the author has seen the impact of godly submissive wives on ungodly husbands which confirmed the Word that they are always drawn by the chaste conduct of their wives.
When a husband loves his wife, there is a security that love brings on the home front that even Satan himself cannot dare. The love of a husband is the wall of defence of the home. When a husband loves his wife, he can go to any length to make the home comfortable for him and all inhabitants of the home. Remember that we are not talking about natural human love which is very fickle. We are talking about the Yahweh-kind of love which is a supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit. When a husband loves his wife with this divine love, the security and prosperity of the family is secured. The Yahweh-kind of love triumphs over every form of assault of the devil on the family.
It takes a mind renewed with the Word of Yahweh and a body submitted to the Lordship of the Holy Spirit to function in the Yahweh-kind of love. When the husband loves his wife according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and the wife does same, no force of devil can introduce tension in their home. The Yahweh-kind of love has never been to the divorce court and will never. No more tension in your home from now!
REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love triumphs over every assault of the devil on your marriage.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Help me Lord to love my spouse with the Yahweh-kind of love in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

I Corinthians 13:7 (AMPC)
This word we see translated as “hope” is the Greek word “elpizo” which means to expect or confide. The word is translated in other places as “trust” and “expect.” It is the confident expectation of something to come. To “hope all things” means to confidently expect the long-term spiritual growth of our fellow brothers and sisters in HaMashiach; to expect that their lives will turn out right; to expect that their situation will change for the better; to treat them according to that beautiful future you expect. To “hope all things” means that we never consider another to be a lost cause. It means that we never give up on each other, even when we see one another fall and fall hard.
When we fail to “hope all things” we consider failures of sin to be a final judgment. It is betrayed in quickness to write the other off. We have critical notions of others and when they meet our expectations of their weakness, we cross them off our list and push them out of our lives. When we fail to “hope all things” we separate. We separate because we feel we have to move on, as if the offender has fallen out of our boat and won’t recover. And what is most awful about losing hope is that it can be so silent. We usually won’t even bother to confront them in hopes of producing repentance, simply receding from them, quietly, withdrawing from their orbit. We even convince ourselves that we are actually “covering their sin in love” by staying quiet.
We must come to that point where we expect the best of them, possessing an optimistic view of how things will turn out, in this life or, more importantly, in eternity. We must recognize ‘…that all things work together for good to those who love Yahweh, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’ (see Romans 8:28 KJV). This kind of attitude is tested when troubles arise, but possessing this kind of love means we will continue to confidently expect the best of the person we love. It also means we will do what we can to help that positive and Godly outcome become a reality. This can sometimes be a challenge. Sometimes circumstances develop or decisions are made that make it difficult to maintain an optimistic expectation for someone. That is where we need to remember that the essence of this love is the commitment to the best interest of the one we love. It is also important to remember how often we are on the other side, making decisions that make it difficult for someone who loves us to maintain that confidence in us.
REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love expects the best future and works to help actualize it for people in the person’s world.
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for the love shed abroad in my spirit by the Holy Spirit. I ask for the grace to see the people in my world with your eyes and to treat them with love even when they are not getting it right in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: There is nothing that brings one divine presence and interventions like walking in love and I declare that as you make walking in love your great quest, everything mocking the glory of God in your life is cursed now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

… is ever ready to believe the best of every person, …
1 Corinthians 13:7 (AMPC)
The word translated as “believes” in the second phrase is “pisteu.” The New Testament Greek Lexicon meaning for the word includes: to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in, to trust, etc. Once again, Apostle Paul is speaking about our relationships within the body of HaMashiach. Apostle Paul is not calling for a foolish gullibility. However, being guarded against the possibility of being taken advantage of is not correct either. Obviously, this does not mean that we are to lose all discernment when we love someone. In fact, Apostle Paul prays for the Philippians to have a love characterized by discernment. In Philippians 1:9-10 (NKJV), we read, ‘And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,’
So what does “believes all things” mean? It means that we are to have confidence in the one we love, to trust them and to always give them the benefit of the doubt, believing the best of them. It is a relationship that is not filled with suspicion, but trust. We use an expression today, “innocent until proven guilty,” that can apply here. Imagine what that does for a person to be loved like that, to be trusted and believed, to know that they have someone’s confidence. Does this mean that we leave ourselves vulnerable to being disappointed or betrayed? Yes. However, the benefits of a love like this far outweigh the risks. Knowing that I am loved like this inspires me to live up to it.
When I love another person, it is not about me. It is about them and what is in their best interest. In the process of trusting and demonstrating confidence in them, we encourage them. Parents know the truth of this in the relationships they have with their children. There is a profound difference made in the lives of children whose parents believe in them and expect the best of them. It is worth thinking about my relationships. How do I treat my husband/wife and my friends? Do I demonstrate confidence and trust in them? Do I always give them the benefit of the doubt? Do I start by assuming the best intentions from them? How would I like to be treated by those who love me? It is also worth noting what this does to our own hearts. A heart that is doubting and always pessimistically assuming the worst from others will be dark, dismal and unable to appreciate the beauty and blessings of love.
REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love has confidence in, trusts, gives benefit of the doubt and believes the best of the other person.
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for Your word to me today. The demands of this love is high, Lord help me to be this love to my world, in all my relationships in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: I release upon you the grace to trust again in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
