FAITH DEFINED (1)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
HEBREWS 11:1 [KJV]

There is a world where all things are possible. There is a place where you can have all your needs met according to His riches in glory. Faith is that spiritual force which opens humanity to a world of unlimited possibilities. Faith is a world of no limits; if you can believe, all things are possible. Faith is living in a spiritual world of no limits. Faith is the most potent force in the whole universe; it’s the key to everything in the kingdom. Faith is the connection to the power source of Yahweh. We all agree that with Yahweh all things are possible (see Matthew 19:16; Mark 10:27). If there is any impossibility, it is only in the human realm because with Yahweh all things are possible. So that power that makes all things possible is connectable only with faith. With faith, you stand in the realm of all possibilities. If faith is this powerful, what exactly is faith. If we can define it, we can find it and take delivery of it.

The Greek word translated faith is ‘pistis’. It means persuasion and conviction in your spirit of the truthfulness of Yahweh and reliance upon Yahushua for salvation; it is reliance that what the Word says about Yahweh and Yahushua is the truth and acting on that conviction. Faith is the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of man upon hearing the Gospel of Yahushua HaMashiach. The Holy Spirit imparts you with this conviction and helps you to rely on Yahushua HaMashiach for salvation. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Faith is a spiritual gift that comes by hearing the Word of Yahweh. Yahweh has given everyone that believe the Gospel the measure of faith. Romans 12:3 says, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” All of us were given the same amount of faith at salvation. There is no one that received a higher faith at salvation; it was the same measure of faith that was dealt to everyone at salvation. So, firstly, faith is the conviction that Yahushua HaMashiach came, died, was buried and rose from the dead to give me eternal life and responding to that word in surrender by confessing Yahushua HaMashiach as Lord and Personal Saviour of my life. (see Romans 10:6-10). This is the starting place of the faith we are talking about. If you have not had this experience, then, you won’t profit from what the Lord is saying to us this month. If you are not connected to Yahweh through the Lord Yahushua, then you cannot collect the deliveries of faith.
