PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (7): THANKING

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Malachi 2:2 (KJV)

Friend, you’re either thanking and giving glory to Yahweh or you are murmuring against Him. And the cheapest way out of murmuring is to be thankful. There’s no way you will not murmur if you’re not thankful. Abraham did not stagger at the promise of Yahweh. He was strong in faith, giving glory to Yahweh (see Romans 4:20). He was thankful to Yahweh even before he saw what he was believing Elohim for. He was able to do so by refusing to consider any contrary thing other than Yahweh who is faithful. To be thankful is to be fruitful, and to be thankless is to be fruitless! Until you become thankful, you don’t become fruitful. Psalm 67:5-7 says, “5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” You don’t praise after the increase has come, but before; it is the praise that provokes the increase. Abraham gave glory to Adonai and then Adonai responded. Every time you sit in the corner of your room wondering if Yahweh is still there, wondering if His Word can still be relied upon, wondering whether He is Who He says He is, or whether the preachers are just playing smart on you, you remain on the same spot. Every time you’re cast down, you can’t go up. Those who look up to the sun don’t see the shadows. Psalm 34:5 says, ”They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”

Psalm 121:1-2 says, “1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” My help is alive, my help is alert! Awake thou that sleepeth! All these stylish murmurings, grumblings, and grudgings are the reason your life is not shining. You are never fruitful until you’re thankful. You don’t give thanks after the fruits, because you don’t see fruits without thanks. Thanking comes before the fruits and continues after it. Until you give thanks, nothing multiplies. Yahushua gave thanks over the five loaves and two fishes, and they multiplied and fed 5,000 people, with twelve baskets left over! There was no multiplication until Yahushua gave thanks. You have complained enough about that business of yours, give Him thanks!

1 Corinthians 3:6 says, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.” I regard giving, working, thinking, trusting and waiting as seed planting, while I consider talking and thanking as watering. Paul planted, Apollos watered. So we do both the planting and the watering first; then, and only then can Yahweh give the increase. Until we have planted and watered, Elohim is not committed to bring increases our way. When you put a mirror before your mouth, and you speak or sing, what do you see? Moisture on the mirror. So when we’re talking or singing, we produce moisture, a form of watering. So many have planted, but very few have successfully watered, so there’s no increase. Talking and thanking is the watering dimension in the school of prosperity. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Thanking is watering your seed sown.

CONFESSION: My life is fruitful because I water my seed as I thank Yahweh. Glory!

PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (6): WAITING

And so, when he had been waiting calmly for a long time, God’s word to him was put into effect.
Hebrews 6:15 (BBE)

This is the eagle’s secret. Yahweh swore to Abraham, yet he needed patience to obtain that promise. The Bible said, “after he had patiently endured”, not after he had subjected himself to rigorous senseless fasting, not after he had struggled and sweated it out; but after he had patiently endured. Abraham needed to have endured. Indeed, every man, every “eagle Believer”, require a degree of covenant patience. The covenant of prosperity is not a magic wand, it’s an adventure of faith. “After he had patiently endured…”, not after he had wept aloud. We are not called to weep, but to wait. In Habakkuk 2:3, Yahweh said every vision is for an appointed time, so though it tarries, wait for it. Did He say weep for it? Did He say run around for it? No! Wait! “Wait for it. It will surely come, it shall not tarry.” The reason we are wasting is because we don’t like to wait. Please understand that quick prosperity will always end in grievous austerity, because it lacks the required foundation for lasting results.

Why Wait? Your lifting with Yahweh is for appointed times and due seasons, and He’s the only One who knows when your due season has come. If you strive to lay hold on something before you’re due, you’ll be doomed. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Don’t be tired in your covenant walk, because there is a due season. If you’re on your feet when that season comes, you will reap your harvest, but if you faint, you fall. “If it will work, it ought to have worked by now.” That’s murmuring. When you murmur, you destroy your seed sown, and then you will have to begin all over again. Yahweh runs a due season calendar on each one of us. When you are due, He will not deny you. But if you faint before you are due, you lose it all. It’s better to wait or you waste. Abraham heard from Elohim directly, yet he needed patience to obtain the promise. If you will not be patient, you may as well end up a patient in the hospital. Selah!

REMEMBER: There is always a waiting time with the Lord.

CONFESSION: I am full of patience. I am not in a haste because the person that believes shall not make haste. I am waiting for the manifestation of the promise and I shall never be disappointed. Halleluyah!

PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (5): TRUSTING

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
Psalms 112:7 (KJV)

Quite a number believe Yahweh, but very few trust Him. What enhances a successful, cheerful and relaxed giving life is trusting. It makes for profitable giving. Those who trust Him are totally dependent on Him and on no one else. Jeremiah 17:7 says, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” Trusting is the highway to continuous triumph. Psalm 34:8, 22 says, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.“ In Matthew 6:31, God said, “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” The only way not to take thought for your life is to trust; and that’s your highway to the realm of kingdom prosperity. There are so many people who are giving in worship, but who have never enjoyed the blessings of Yahweh. Why? They are not dependent on Yahweh for their needs, so they keep suffering. They depend on their pay packets, and on their big brothers. Jeremiah 17:5 says, “Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.”

Beloved, you need to come into that realm of trusting, it is the realm of continuous triumph. I don’t have needs, because I’m trusting Him. It’s my natural lifestyle. No needs, no begging, no borrowing! There are many who would have built their own houses, if only they knew how to trust Yahweh. Trusting Yahweh is simply beautiful! Listen to me, you won’t know true triumph until you learn trusting. It is your understanding of the mystery of trusting that brings you to the realm of true triumph in life. Many love Him, but very few trust Him. Multitudes worship Him, but very very few trust Him. Psalms 125:1-2 says, “1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.”

If you want to enjoy true prosperity, you have to enjoy the mystery of trusting Him. One of the things that easily commands people’s trust is money. Many people’s souls are tied to and anchored on their money. Yahweh does not bring multiplication the way of such people, because it will lead to their destruction. The moment your trust is in money, Yahweh withdraws it to a level where you will keep believing Him for every meal. Proverbs 11:28 says, “He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.” When money is what determines your countenance, it shows that that’s where your trust is. Selah!

REMEMBER: You cannot be established in prosperity without a firm trust in Yahweh.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. Help me to know You so that I can trust You Lord in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the eyes of your understanding open now to know the Lord indeed in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (4): WORKING

He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 10:4 (KJV)

No one is born poor, neither is anyone born rich. Nobody was born with a three-piece suit and a pair of shoes on. Everybody came to this earth stark naked. Nobody carried a purse or a cheque book when he was born. People arrive here to become whatever they choose to become. “He becometh poor…” Just like men become rich, others also become poor. Your choice determines what you become. “…But the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” So the making of wealth is not limited to giving alone. Just in a moment, I will show you the balance between giving and working. Giving procures the blessings, while working opens the channel through which that blessing flows back to you. Giving establishes the blessings, but working provides the channel through which the blessings are released. Giving without working is like pouring water into a basket. The channel is not created for the blessings that accrue from giving to be delivered. Here are two striking scriptures that draw a link between giving and working. “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” (Proverbs 18:16) That is, room is created by your givings. But look at Proverbs 22:29, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” So it is your giving, and your working that determine your ultimate placement in life. The charismatics have been taught how to give, but many have not been taught the covenant place and dignity of labour.

Abraham encountered the promise of blessings by giving, but he took delivery of the blessings by working. In Genesis 12, God called him out and promised to bless him. In chapter 14, he gave tithes to Melchizedek, King of Salem, who blessed him. Yet Abraham was a cattle-rearer! Yahweh has nothing to bless when you are not working. Psalms 1:3 says, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” “Whatsoever he doeth…”, not “whatsoever he giveth”! It is the giving that positions you by the rivers of water, what you do thereafter is what then enables you to take delivery of the blessings of this privileged positioning. The work of your hand is the channel through which you take delivery of the blessings. “And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” There’s no future for the idle man in the covenant. You have a choice between hard-work and a hard life! I made my choice for hard-work, so I’m free from a hard life.

Beloved, it is time to take your work culture to the next level. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Work is your channel of inflow of the blessings into your life.

CONFESSION: My hands are diligent hands. It is the Lord Yahushua that is at work in me both to will and do of His good pleasures. Hard work has removed me from hard life. Glory be Yahweh!

PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (3): TALKING

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea? and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass? he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mark 11:23 (KJV)

This is the law of faith, “you shall have whatsoever you say”. Your mouth is the channel through which you sign your spiritual check for withdrawal. Whatsoever you sign is delivered to you both positive and negative. If you look into your life now, your outcome is a product of your words. This is an inevitable law. In Numbers chapter 13, we read of the spies that went to spy Canaan. When they returned, ten of them said, “… We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” (Numbers 13:31). And truly, all that generation that said that they be not able to enter the promised land, ended their journey in the wilderness. According to their words, they were not able to enter into that land. In Numbers 14:28 Yahweh told Moses “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:” Whatever you say, whether positive or negative becomes your portion, it is only a matter of time. Caleb and Joshua said “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:30). The two were the only ones that entered into Canaan from that older generation. Your talking is your life. Your life flows in the direction of the your confession.

You can’t enter into the land flowing with milk and honey by talking poverty. Do you know that your mouth can burn off in one day everything you have spent your whole life to heap up? No matter how many people are angry, I will never talk poverty! Until you talk prosperity, you will never prosper! That’s the Word of Elohim. You must talk prosperity everywhere, both in your privacy and in the public. Prosperity only answers to those who talk it. I talked prosperity until poverty gave up on me, because Yahweh is committed to the words of His servants, and the thoughts and counsel of His messengers (see Isaiah 44:26). Until you talk it, you can’t take it! I command your tongue to be sanctified right now, so it will not stop your access into the land that is flowing with milk and honey. Beloved, talk prosperity! That is the only platform to ever take it. Until you talk it, you really don’t believe it. And until you believe it, it cannot be performed in your life (see Luke 1:45).

Confession of your mouth is one pillar of faith which must be in place for you to take delivery of prosperity. But there is a principle that affects what you say and that is that “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (see Luke 6:45). It is the principle of garbage in garbage out. If it’s not in your heart, it will be too big for your mouth. And if it is too big for your mouth then, it will be too much for your life. Selah!

REMEMBER: Until you talk prosperity, you cannot take delivery of it.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I ask for the grace to fill my heart with the Word, so that out of that abundance my mouth can speak prosperity in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Receive grace to take charge of your words. Your ruin shall not be your own mouth. May the mercy of Yahweh and the blood of the Lord Yahushua erase every negative word speaking against your prosperity in the realm of the spirit in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (2): CREATIVE THINKING

3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: 4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
Proverbs 24:3-4 (KJV)

Until you think through, you cannot breakthrough. Thinking is a function of wisdom. Many of us are a concern to Yahweh. This is because the things we cry about don’t require tears at all. They just require taking the appropriate steps, and then walking into victory. But when you don’t know what steps to take, how do you take them? I’d like you to know that God has made every provision available for us to exercise our minds so we can excel in life. The creative abilities in us will only come to light with the adequate exercising of our senses. It is strong meat for strong destiny. Hitherto many have thought that sense knowledge is contrary to scriptural or spiritual knowledge. But without a good sense knowledge, you can’t understand the things of the spirit. Your spirit can’t instruct your body, it is your mind that does that; because the body only responds to instructions from the mental region. Your spirit illuminates your mind, passing on information to it, and then your mind dispatches it to the body, for appropriate actions. Please understand this: how much mental exercise you engage in determines how much you will excel in life. Remember, wisdom begets wealth. It is reasoning that makes rich!

The Amplified Bible puts our opening text in a very colourful way: “Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is establlished [on a sound and good foundation], And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Friend, it takes facts to become fat! What they call “common sense” is not really common. The moment you cannot explain the step you are taking, you don’t have that common sense. If you cannot explain to the people around the reasons for what you are doing, or what you expect at the end of what you’re doing, then you don’t know what you’re doing. We have the mind of HaMashiach. It’s time to exercise that mind in order to excel in life.

You need to exercise the mind of HaMashiach that is in you. To do that, you need to create time alone. Time is the greatest asset in the school of creativity. Whatever you give time, blossoms. Time for prayer of inquiry and waiting in faith. Secondly, you need to seek all necessary information that has something to do with the situation at hand. Decisions based on quality information will always lead to distinctions. Thirdly, meditate on the available information to determine the best decision. Psalms 1:1-3 shows us that this man is first a thinker, then a worker. That is the sequence. Selah!

REMEMBER: Your mentality determines your reality.

CONFESSION: I have the mind of HaMashiach empower to comprehend the details of my assignment. There is nothing I cannot process in my mind. There is no level of prosperity that I cannot realize in my life because it is never too big for my mind. Glory be to the Lord!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: The mind of HaMashiach comes alive and into operation in your life from this day in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (1): COVENANT GIVING (B)

And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
Luke 8:3 (KJV)

The fourth covenant giving is giving to your parents. Your parents include both your biological and spiritual parents. The parents that gave birth to you are your covenant channel of blessing. You are commanded by the Word to honour them. You must have a budget monthly for your parents. Living large in the city while your parents are barely existing in the village is laying a future of poverty for yourself. Honouring your parents opens you up to a life that it is well with you and that you live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:1-3 says, “1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother? (which is the first commandment with promise?) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” The “God bless you, my child” that comes from your parents’ mouth is weightier spiritually than any curse from any demonised person. Please don’t ignore that. Then, the person through whom the Lord feeds you the Word is your spiritual parent and you are to honour them. We saw in our opening text that people gave to the Lord Yahushua from their substance. The mantle of your shepherd is to tackle the battles of your life. The Lord Yahushua placed him into your life for a reason. Connect to him/her.

The fifth covenant giving is giving for gospel expansion. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness? and all these things shall be added unto you.” Giving to the gospel is giving for any purpose geared towards winning and establishing souls in the kingdom. It includes giving for crusades, production of handbills, tracts and publications for gospel campaigns. It includes giving to help transport people to Church. Whatever you give to enhance the gospel reaching out to souls is an investment and it spans time into eternity. The same crown that the preacher will get for preaching and winning that soul is same that you that gave towards making it happen gets. When someone reads the tracts that was printed by your money and surrenders to the Lord, the crown for that soul alights on you and that is for all eternity. Get into this covenant giving.

The sixth covenant giving is giving for kingdom projects. Projects like building a house for the worship of Yahweh, beautifying the house of the Lord, and making sure that everything required for the service of the house of the Lord is in order. We saw in Exodus 25 that the Lord called for offering and that was for the building of the tabernacle. This was just after they crossed the red sea. After giving for this building of the tabernacle, the Lord took over their needs and for the next 40 years, none was sick, their cloths and shoes did not wear out. PILLARS OF PROSPERITY (1): COVENANT GIVING (A)

Give, and it shall be given unto you? good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:38 (KJV)

Covenant giving is the highway of abundance in this Kingdom. The law of seed-time and harvest is also called the law of giving. Giving is like sowing seeds into the ground. The ground you are sowing the seed matters a lot to the harvest that you can expect. That is why it is not every giving that produces harvest. It is only covenant giving that produces bountiful harvest. Covenant giving is that giving that is in line with the Word. Covenant giving is that giving that is commanded by the Word. When you give according to the Word, then you are assured of a bountiful returns. Covenant giving starts with the tithe. The tithe is ten percent of the increase of Yahweh upon your life and business/career. 10% of $100 is $10. That is how simple it is. Tithe is a debt you are owing Yahweh that is why if you refuse to pay, it is regarded as robbery (see Malachi 3:8-12). When you pay your tithe, you provoke the heavens opened over you and your finances and indeed everything that concerns you. When you don’t pay your tithe, you incurred the curse of the Lord released upon the thief (see Zechariah 5:1-4). You also close the heaven over you and expose yourself to the devourer. It is better imagined than experienced. If you are in this Kingdom of HaMashiach and you are not faithful in tithing, you are doing yourself a great disservice. In the new testament, it is our high priest the Lord Yahushua that receives the tithe (see Hebrews 7:8).

The second covenant giving is your offering. The offering is a freewill giving but the Lord commanded that none should appear before Him empty (see Exodus 23:15; 34:20). Whatever you have decided to give, take it to His presence and give with Joy. If you are not giving your offering, you are robbing the Lord (Malachi 3:8). Your offering procures favour for you with the Lord. The third covenant giving is giving to the poor. Poverty is a product of sin and Satan. Satan perpetuates poverty through the wickedness of man to man. The poor are recipients of the wickedness of man and Satan and also some poverty is self-inflicted. Proverbs 10:4 says, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” That means that if you are lazy, you are going to end up with poverty. But because majority of poverty is the sheer wickedness of man and the devil, the Lord, takes over the case of the poor. When you give to the poor, you are lending to the Lord (see Proverbs 19:17) and you can imagine what the returns would be like. When you give to the poor, the Lord buys over everything that concerns (see Psalms 41:1-3). The poor is your opportunity to win favour with the Lord. No matter your level, let something go to the poor from you.

THE UNMATCHABLE HUNDREDFOLD RETURN

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions? and in the world to come eternal life.
Mark 10:30 (KJV)

“And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,” (Mark 10:29). This is the reward of dedication. When you leave everything for the Lord Yahushua and for the interest of His Kingdom, you are assured of a hundredfold returns now in this time. “Now in this time” means in your life-time; in this side of eternity called time. Whatever you do for the Lord Yahushua and for the gospel has a hundredfold returns attached to it. The best enterprise on earth is the gospel and kingdom expansion endeavours. Why do I conclude that? Let us see the parable of the sower where the Lord Yahushua talked about this hundredfold returns. In Matthew 13:8, we read, “But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.” The seed that was planted into the good soil yielded some thirtyfold, some sixtyfold and some hundredfold. Irrespective of the fact that they were planted in a good soil, some yielded just thirtyfold and some sixtyfold. Thirtyfold and sixtyfold are great returns on their own but then, they are not as good as hundredfold. But there is a guarantee of a hundredfold returns when you are dedicated to the gospel. Whatever you give up for the Lord and for the gospel’s, you are assured of a hundredfold returns. It is not a probability but a surety. This is why dedication to the Lord Yahushua and the gospel is the best thing that can happen to your life and destiny. When you are dedicated, sown into the work of the Lord, your life begins to bring forth abundance beyond words.

Hundredfold is not hundred times. Start with a one fold return and you receive two. A two fold return gives you four; three fold gives you eight; then sixteen, thirty-two, sixty-four, one hundred twenty-eight, two hundred fifty-six which is only eight fold. Sound impossible…then it has to be Yahweh’s principle. I could not stand not knowing what the real numbers would be so I set out to crunch some numbers; at just thirty fold you would get a whopping 1,073,701,824 (that’s one billion, seventy-three million, seven hundred-one thousand, eight hundred twenty-four). Listen, we’re talking nine zeroes here; that’s phenomenal. Care to take a guess what sixty fold would be?

After all that is just thirty fold again. If you guessed 2,147,403,648 you are absolutely wrong. Sixty fold is 1,151,973,021,073,889,216 (one quintillion, one hundred fifty-one quadrillion, nine hundred seventy-three trillion, twenty-one billion, seventy-three million, eight hundred eighty-nine thousand, two hundred sixteen) which is slightly more than double the thirty fold. How good is Yahweh…eighteen zeroes! And that’s only sixty fold. Guess, go ahead I dare you…if you are like me, I did not know theses numbers existed. I can now say them but still cannot wrap my mind around them…okay here goes…one hundred fold is 1,201,064,595,207,167,685,882,431,343,616 (one nonillion, two hundred-one octillion, sixty-four septillion, five hundred ninety-five sextillion, two hundred seven quintillion, one hundred sixty-seven quadrillion, six hundred eighty-five trillion, eight hundred eighty-two billion, four hundred thirty one million, three hundred forty-three thousand, six hundred-sixteen). This is whooping thirty zeroes!

And these numbers are just for one penny or dollar or seed. What if instead of giving one dollar you gave one hundred or a thousand. If you received an hundredfold return and wanted to know how much that would be just multiply 100 x 1,201,064,595,207,167,685,882,431,343,616 = 10,106,459,520,716,768,588,243,134,361,600.

REMEMBER: The hundredfold is Yahweh’s plan for you. Go for it in faith!

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I believe and connect to my hundredfold return on both my physical and financial input into the gospel in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

THE PURPOSE OF PROSPERITY (5): FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy?
I Timothy 6:17 (KJV)

Our Heavenly Father is not opposed to your enjoyment. One of the reasons He blesses His children is for their enjoyment. He wants you to eat and be full. This scarcity and smallness mentality in you must die today. Deuteronomy 8:9-10 says, “9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. 10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.” The Lord brings His people into a land where you will eat bread without scarceness; a land that you will never lack anything in it. Is that not the raw definition of prosperity? Why is Yahweh bringing you to prosperity? It is so that you can eat and be full. It is for you to enjoy the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. This is also the reason why prosperity is not just money. You can have money but still you are not enjoying anything. Money with pain in your body is not prosperity. Money with war in your marriage is not prosperity. Money with wayward children is not prosperity. There is no enjoyment when you are not at peace with your maker. So, prosperity is far more than just money and wealth.

Psalms 16:11 says, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” You see that pleasures and joy is a function of His presence. Prosperity is about living in the presence of the Lord where pleasures and joy flows. How can you ever enjoy anything if you are sad and in bitterness? The Lord wants you to live in pleasures forever more. The Lord is not against you living in pleasures, no! Prosperity is living in pleasures and enjoying the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. This is why He prospers you. You may have money but if you are out of His presence, you cannot live in pleasures. Impossible! It is in that presence that everything that would want to cut short your enjoyment is eliminated by His power. In that presence, health replaces sickness and there is no room for affliction. In that presence, wisdom to handle every area of your life is released and you find out that life is an adventure for you in enjoyment.

There is another aspect of this enjoyment. It is reaching out to the people around you with the goodness of the Lord. As you give, to the poor, there is this joy that flows into your life that nothing can compare. There is an enjoyment that comes by communicating of your substance to the people in need. Psalms 112:3 talks about the man that dwells in His presence that, “Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.” Verse 9 says, “He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.” That is the real enjoyment of life when your horn is exalted with honour. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Yahweh blesses you so you can enjoy His goodness.

CONFESSION: The mercy and goodness of the Lord are new every morning in my life. Thank You Lord for helping me to enjoy life in your presence. Glory!
