    CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (5): IS NOT INFLATED WITH PRIDE

    I Corinthians 13:4-5(AMP)

    The very word translated “pride” is the Greek word ‘phusioo’ meaning to “puff up” or “blow up.” The English idiom “having a big head” communicates the same idea. To be puffed up is to have an inflated opinion of oneself. According to William Penn, the founder of the Colony of Pennsylvania, “A proud man then is a kind of glutton upon himself; for he is never satisfied with loving and admiring himself; whilst nothing else, with him, is worthy either of love or care” (from No Cross, No Crown, chapter XII). In pride we become the objects of our own love; in humility we learn to love others.

    Pride is a sin. Apostle John taught that the pride of life “is not from the Father but is from the world” (see 1 John 2:16). The Proverbs summarize Yahweh’s attitude regarding pride: “Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate” (see Proverbs 8:13), and, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall” (see Proverbs 16:18). In contrast to the humility of love, the Corinthian believers were known for their proud behaviour at times. They argued over which apostle they followed (chapters 1-3), spoke poorly of Paul (chapter 4), boasted of their tolerance of sinful behaviour (chapter 5), took fellow believers to court with lawsuits (chapter 6), dishonoured Yahweh in their taking of the Lord’s Supper (chapter 11), and argued about which spiritual gifts were most important (chapter 12). Paul’s exhortation that “love is not proud” provided a proper correction for their self-centred attitudes.

    The only thing love sees is the need. When the Good Samaritan stopped to help the man in need on the Jericho road, he didn’t concern himself with how “Jews do not associate with Samaritans” (John 4:9). The Good Samaritan did not care how it looked to others. He was there to help (Luke 10:30-37). His humble focus on someone else’s need is the illustration Yahushua used of loving our neighbour as ourselves. We are called to shine the Yahweh-kind of love to our world. Life is not all about you. Stop living and centering life on yourself. Life is about the Lord Yahushua and shining His love to the hurting and dying world. There is no soul that is more important than the other. Share the love of the Lord Yahushua with as many as you can find and do that with every humility considering it a privilege. It is the life you have received in HaMashiach to be for a light to the nations of the earth. Pride shall not be your ruin in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love is never inflated with pride but sees the need and attends to it.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for your word to me today. Let every form of pride in me die now. Anything in me contending with your kind of love being manifested through me be consumed by the fire of the Holy Spirit in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: The root of pride is cursed in your life now. The hindrance to that explosion coming your way is just removed now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (2): IS KIND

    I Corinthians 13:4 (AMP)

    The second attribute of the Yahweh-kind of love is kindness. What is it to be kind? The phrase “is kind” in I Corinthians 13:4 is the Greek word chrēsteuomai, from the root word chrēstos, which E. W. Bullinger’s Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament defines as “good, gentle, benevolent…actively beneficent in spite of ingratitude.” Both “benevolent” and “beneficent” describe someone who does good. To be kind is to do good unto others, even if they don’t show appreciation for our gestures. The Yahweh-kind of love is always the answer to the odds of human demeanor. That definition of chresteuomai says ‘actively beneficent in spite of ingratitude’.

    When Yahushua HaMashiach taught his disciples how to love with the love of Yahweh, He gave them the example of the kindness of Yahweh. In Luke 6:31,32,35, the word says ‘31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love [agapaō] them which love [agapaō] you, what thank [recompense, reward] have ye? for sinners also love [agapaō] those that love [agapaō] them. 35 But love [agapaō] ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind [chrēstos] unto the unthankful and to the evil.‘

    Yahweh is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. This is the love of Yahweh. We see this expressed in Ephesians 2::4-5: ‘4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love [agapē] wherewith he loved [agapaō] us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)‘ We are recipients of Yahweh’s amazing love, for we have experienced His kindness toward us through Yahushua HaMashiach. He loved us even when we were dead in sins. Titus 3:3-6 says ‘3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness [chrēstotēs] and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost [the gift of holy spirit]; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.‘

    Yahweh saved us according to His mercy—not because we deserved it. Yahweh’s love and kindness are not dependent on the goodness or gratitude of others. Extending the kindness of Yahweh to another person, especially when they are unthankful or evil, is a powerful way to positively affect someone’s life and the Lord Yahushua expects you to release kindness today and always to a hurting and ungrateful world.

    REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love is benevolent and beneficent in spite of ingratitude.

    CONFESSION: I am a kind person and through me the Lord Yahushua is extending kindness to the hurting world around. Oh how much kindness we have received from the Lord!

    WHAT IS THE LORD SAYING FOR JUNE 2021?

    Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
    Colossians 4:5 [KJV]

    Wow! It has dawned, the arrival of the last month of the first half of the year of HaMashiach My Life. Welcome to the month of June 2021. We believe Yahweh that you had a great encounter using #WordForTodayDevotional daily all through last month. It is a heavy deluge of the Word on Divine Wisdom, purpose, vision, plans and pursuit. We began by looking at knowing who Wisdom really is, to explaining how to get this Wisdom from Above, to knowing that wisdom brings about purpose, vision, plans and pursuit. We examined in details purpose, vision, plans and pursuit. In the process, wisdom encouraged us to abolish our comfort zones, that life is not a competition and that we must deploy our minds which is the seat of Wisdom. We explored how to recognise this Divine Wisdom according to brother James. We saw how Divine Wisdom imparts on different areas of our lives. It was a thorough Word bath on Divine Wisdom and we return all the glory to the Lord Yahushua who gave the Word.

    Yahweh has established life to function on laws and until you understand the laws behind the working of a particular thing, frustration is inevitable. The laws of life are penned down for us in the Word of Yahweh – the Bible, and it is important that any one that desire to make the most of life must understand how this laws function. For instance, in agriculture, you must plant a seed to expect a harvest. If someone does not understand this law, but the person desires harvest of a particular crop say corn, how long will prayer and fasting make the ground to yield a harvest of corn that was never planted? This is how spiritual laws of life work. They don’t require prayer and fasting to work. They work because they are laws. The Father takes pleasure in your prosperity and has established a law of life that will guarantee your prosperity. No amount of prayer will break the Word. Fasting is useless when the law is not followed. Job 22:22 says, “Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.” You have an inheritance of prosperity and wealth in HaMashiach but it answers to the spiritual law of seed-time and harvest. Why is there so much lack and want in the midst of the brethren today? It is because the understanding of this law is absent. As long as the earth remains, the law of prosperity which is the law of seed-time and harvest shall not cease. Attempting to break the law is cutting yourself off from the prosperity plan of Yahweh for you.

    Our prophetic focus for the Month of June 2021 therefore, is “PROSPERITY THAT EVOKES ENVY IS MY PORTION IN HAMASHIACH MY LIFE” (Genesis 26:12-14). This is our month of looking up to receive the law of prosperity from His mouth. This month every trace of poverty shall fall off your life and you shall begin to function in the prosperity plan of your heavenly Father for you. We shall trust the Lord to unveil to us His prosperity plan; the purpose of prosperity; the laws of prosperity; the foundation of prosperity; the source of prosperity; the pillars of kingdom prosperity and we shall conclude by showing you that it is absolutely up to you to choose. This is the month that you have been waiting for. It is light that shatters darkness. It is illumination of the Word that brings about transformation in life. I believe the Lord Yahushua to enlighten us this month on the area of prosperity. Come along with us as we dive into the Word. I see you coming out of June transformed, repackaged as a prosperity entity in your family, nation and to the entire world. Shalom!

    THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, thank You for the privilege of life, sound mind and body, of seeing a brand new month. Thank You for sending Yahushua HaMashiach to pay the price for my sins and for the privilege of your presence in my life by the Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your Wisdom and her impact in my life. Thank You for all you did for us in the month of May. Thank You for the release of the spirit of Wisdom and excellence. Thank You for what you are set to do in me and for me this new month. To You alone be all the glory in the precious name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that this month of June shall not see your end but you shall see its end. In this month of June, I see you encounter the grace for stupendous wealth. I decree no evil news shall be heard in your life, family and job/business. This month, the heavens open over you and your family for a turnaround your world cannot deny. This month, every agenda of evil against you is shattered now. You shall only walk in success, increase, favour, supernatural possibilities and triumphs on every side you turn. No man shall be able to stand against you and your progress all the days of this month. Testimonies shall be your daily bread this month and celebration unending shall be in your house. Receive an inoculation against lack, want and empty-handedness this month in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen.

    THE ONLY REMEDY – THE GOSPEL

    He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of Yahweh abideth on him.
    John 3:36 (KJV)

    Genesis chapters 3 shows us the fall of man. The consequence of that fall amongst other things was inheriting the destiny of damnation of the devil. If the devil is your lord, then you would be where your lord ends up. Isn’t that logical? Same is true if Yahushua HaMashiach is your Lord, then wherever He is, is where you will be also (see John 14:3). The fall of man condemned man to the lake of fire at the end of the age and interrimly to hell. Humanity’s condemnation to the lake of fire has nothing to do essentially to the sin of each individual. It has everything to do with the nature that humanity inherited from Adam. If it is possible to find one adult that is sinless, that human will still land in hell because he/she is a human being created with the nature of sin. This is very important for those who are very conscious of their self righteousness. There are those who believe that they are not sinners because they are not committing any known sin to them, but the fact that they were born by the coming together of a man and a woman has implicated them to the same condemnation of sinners. But the reality is that all have sinned (see Romans 3:23).

    The only remedy to escaping the lake of fire is obeying the gospel of Yahushua HaMashiach. The only escape is salvation that Yahushua HaMashiach brought. How shall we escape then if we neglect this so great salvation? (see Hebrews 2:3). No religion can save. No other name can help. The only solution and escape from hell is obeying the gospel. Stop playing religion with your eternity. Time is very short. All these things that you are running after are shadows. If you miss your place in the gospel you will mourn for eternity and then there is no longer any repentance. Do you know that one day, people will be crying to repent and accept the gospel but then time has elapsed. Once you escape the earth either willingly or by force, your opportunity to choose your place in eternity is over. It is the choice you made while on earth that subsists.

    Accept Yahushua HaMashiach today as Lord and Person Saviour if you are yet to do so and commit to heralding the gospel to everyone person that has not made that commitment. This is an urgent matter and also a matter of life and death. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to arrive at the shores of eternity without the person’s name in the book of life of the lamb (Rev. 13:8). May that not be you and all those in your sphere of contacts in the name of Yahushua Amen!

    REMEMBER: The only escape from the tragedy of the fall of man is Salvation in Yahushua HaMashiach.

    CONFESSION: I am a new creation in Yahushua HaMashiach. Eternity has already been sorted out for me and I am on the mission to enlist everyone on my sphere of contacts today. I am committed to the gospel and I am fruitful on daily basis. I declare that no one who knows me will end up in hell in the name of Yahushua! Glory to the Father!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: The resolve to go all out for the gospel comes upon you now like a hurricane making you a fruitful bough by the well in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
