    PILLARS OF KINGDOM PROSPERITY (3): THINKING

    ‘For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …’
    Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)

    Thinking, in this context, is the ability to co-ordinate thoughts productively for increased output. Reasoning is what makes rich. Working alone does not make for wealth, it is wise work that begets wealth. A man may be labouring, but because he lacks results, he becomes wearied. He knows what to do, but doesn’t know how to do it. It is the knowledge of how to do a thing that gets it done, not just the doing of it. It’s not just work, but wise work, that makes for wealth (See Ecclesiastes 10:15). That wisdom element of our labour, in most cases, is the missing link that causes us to work and work, without having any result. Remember, our giving does not equal plenty on its own. Giving connects us to the blessing, while working helps us take delivery of the blessing. And if we are wise workers, then we can take greater delivery of His blessings. Thinking is liken to what Yahushua said about sitting down to count the cost of whatever you are doing. Thinking through to solutions and methodology that will deliver the best result in your undertakings. Yahushua said no one builds a tower without first sitting down to generate, create and analyse ideas (see Luke 14:28). There’s a place for sitting still to locate the treasures in the Word, to bring forth ideas that will enhance productivity.

    The answer is on your inside. As you sit down to quality meditation with a there-must-be-a-way-out-attitude, you provoke the treasures on your inside to come forth. Friend, there’s something inside you. The answer is within you, in your “house”. Elisha asked that widow, “What hath thou in thine house?” She said, “I have nothing but a cruse of oil.” And Elisha said to her, “You’ve got the answer!” (see 2 Kings. 4). The answer to her crisis came out of her house. The answer you require is inside you. So, sit down and make it come forth! Every event is an invention and every invention is a product of intuition. What is intuition? Nothing but qualitative meditation, which is the ability to co-ordinate thoughts productively. The prodigal son came to himself and found his way back home by reasoning (see Luke 15:17-18). I don’t think it took more than one hour of reasoning to do that. This is one of the forgotten, but most powerful forces in life. You have an excellent spirit, all you need to do is engage it. Your car has a gear system, but until you engage the gear, the car won’t move. So let’s engage our covenant mentality for cheap victories in the battles of life. Getting things to work, not just by prayer, but by engaging covenant reasoning, putting the facts on the ground and then working things out. Pure wisdom!

    1 Corinthians 2:16 says, ‘For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of HaMashiach.’ “But we have the mind of HaMashiach”! We are heirs of Yahweh and joint-heirs with HaMashiach, and the Bible says, “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John. 1:3). Also, “…HaMashiach the power of Yahweh, and the wisdom of Yahweh.” (1 Corinthians. 1:24). If therefore we have the mind of HaMashiach, and He is the wisdom of Yahweh by which all things were created, then, we are by inheritance possessors of divine creativity! It is our birthright to operate in the creative realms of Yahweh. The creative capabilities of Yahweh reside on our inside, let’s go and stir it up! Let’s draw them out by engaging the sitting down warfare strategy for exploits. Let’s sit down with Yahweh! You have prayed, you have fasted, now think! Engage creative thinking for high level productivity.

    REMEMBER: Thinking provokes the creative powers of HaMashiach inside you.

    CONFESSION: I am created to as a city set on the hill that cannot be hidden. I refuse to die in obscurity. I have the creative mind of HaMashiach at work inside me and I am drawing it out for practical solution as I sit down with the Holy Spirit in meditation. Glory be Yahweh!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I release grace to sit down in deep solution-finding thinking sessions. I call forth the depths inside you to rise to the challenge of your life now. You shall no more be stranded in Yahushua Name Amen!

    FOUNDATION FOR KINGDOM PROSPERITY (1): NEW BIRTH

    That at that time ye were without HaMashiach, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without Yahweh in the world:
    Ephesians 2:12 (KJV)

    In the scheme of things, life comes first before prosperity. Everyone not born again is dead in trespasses. The person is not alive and therefore, cannot be talking about prosperity. There is no knowledge or understanding in the grave (see Ecclesiastes 9:10). Everyone not born again is spiritually dead. That is why such a person is bound for hell fire because no dead soul is in heaven. Hell is the place of the dead. Being alive is the first foundation for Kingdom Prosperity. No dead soul is admitted into the school of kingdom prosperity because prosperity entails that you are in a covenant relationship with Yahweh which was enacted by the blood of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. If you have never surrendered to the Lordship of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach, then you can quickly do it now and be qualified for what the Lord is going to do this month. If you backslid, same applies to you. Sin is a killer. It kills spiritual life. Backslider, come back to the Lord now. It is salvation that brings you into shalom. The Word translated as saved in Mark 16:16 actually means and implies prosperity. This shows that until you are saved, you don’t have an inheritance among the saints. Kingdom prosperity is an inheritance among those that are sanctified. So if you are not part of the sanctified, then you do not have such an inheritance.

    Our opening verse says that when one is without HaMashiach, the person is an alien to the commonwealth of Israel. There is an inheritance that salvation introduces one into called the commonwealth of Israel. That commonwealth ensures and guarantees your prosperity. Salvation makes you a partaker of the covenant of promise. It is this promise that Yahweh made to Abraham to bless him and make him a blessing that the will of Yahweh for your prosperity was anchored upon.. The person that is not saved is a stranger to the covenant of promise. That person has no covenant relationship with the Yahweh of Israel that established the covenant in the first place. Without salvation, you are without hope, lost in the world.

    Being saved is so crucial that it was the main mission of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach on earth. His very name Yahushua means that He will save His people from their sin (see Matthew 1:21). In case you are playing Church; coming to Church yet living in sin; coming to Church yet lost, this day is your opportunity to reconnect to the covenant of promise and get ready for generational prosperity as unfolded by the Will of Yahweh. If you desire to be born again now, please pray thus from the depths of your heart: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to surrender to you. I believe in my heart that the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach came, died, was buried, rose again and ascended to heaven to give me life. I therefore, accept that eternal life now into my spirit as I confess that Yahushua HaMashiach is Lord and Personal Saviour of my life. I renounce Sin, Satan and every covenant I made knowingly or unknowingly or made on my behalf. I thank you Lord for saving me now in Yahushua name Amen. Congratulations!

    REMEMBER: Salvation is what connects us to the commonwealth of Israel and to the covenant of promise.

    CONFESSION: I am born again by the Word of Yahweh. I now have dominion of sin, sickness, Satan and poverty. I make demand that all that is mine in the commonwealth of Israel be released into my life today. Thank You Lord! Glory!

    YAHWEH MADE LIFE TO RUN ON PRINCIPLES

    And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
    John 8:32 [KJV]

    Man’s ability to fulfil his purpose and to be all Yahweh intended him to be is predicated on the requirement that he obey the principles Yahweh established when He created human beings. Principle is a law that explains the fundamental reasons of the working of something in nature. Why is this true? Yahweh is a God of principles. Everything He created was established to operate by certain principles that guarantee its proper function. This pattern in creation includes human beings. We were created to operate by principles that Yahweh established before He created us. These principles or rules of operation for human beings are found throughout the Bible, although they are not always referred to as principles. They may also be referred to as Yahweh’s laws, ordinances, precepts, statutes, commands, commandments, decrees, instructions, word, and ways. Although the meaning of each of these words carries a slightly different nuance from the others, they all carry within them the basic concept of a principle, which is a law that is established to preserve and protect a created thing and to assure its maximum performance. So each time these words occur in Scripture, the particular word used may be removed and the word principle may be inserted in its place.

    Psalms 19:7-11 and 119:9-11 reveal the necessity of understanding and obeying Yahweh’s principles of creation. This is true because only the manufacturer of a product knows what factors are necessary to obtain the maximum operation of the product. In essence, you can’t use a product according to your own ideas and expect it to fulfil what the manufacturer promised it could and would do. If you want a product to work, doing all that the manufacturer said it would do, you have to obey the principles (laws, commandments, instructions, etc.) of the one who designed and made the product. We may prefer lawlessness, which is the freedom to do whatever we want to do, but our very creation by Yahweh, our Manufacturer and Source, requires that we follow His principles. Should we choose lawlessness—doing what we want, when we want, how we want—we can expect to reap the inevitable results, which include slavery, death, and the loss of privileges or freedoms. This is precisely what happened to the man and the woman in the Garden of Eden.

    Yahweh’s command in Genesis 2:16-17 contains an inherent judgment. The most serious consequence of man’s disregard for Yahweh’s principles for life in the garden was his loss of the Holy Spirit and his subsequent separation from Yahweh. In truth, man cannot and will not live up to the potential and purpose Yahweh built into him until the love and intimacy Yahweh and man enjoyed in the garden is restored. Because life in the presence of Yahweh is man’s ideal environment, Yahweh’s presence is also man’s greatest need. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Life is built to run on principles and disregard for the laws of Yahweh is calamity waiting to happen.

    PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to treasure your Word in my life from this day in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    SOUL-WINNING IS YOUR PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT ON EARTH

    And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
    Mark 16:15     (KJV)

    When we say that something is of primary importance, we mean to say that it ranks first and that it is of first importance or value; that it is direct and immediate rather than secondary. If it is primary then it is the most important element of all considerations. As a believer, soul-winning is your primary assignment on earth. When you surrendered your heart to the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach, He would have called you home immediately; but He chose to leave you here on earth, why? It is because when you are born again, you become HaMashiach (the Christ) that your world sees; you become the extension of divinity to your sphere of contacts. You are now the light of your world; the salt of your world. They are lost and hopeless without you. Your presence produces preservation and illumination to your sphere of contacts. The instrument of that illumination is the gospel of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. 2 Corinthians 4:4 talks about the light of the glorious gospel of HaMashiach (the Christ). When you share the gospel, you are shining the light to your sphere of contacts. Your business/career is a vehicle to convey you to the people in your world. Your career/business is not your primary assignment. It is utter misplacement of priority to make your career/business as your primary assignment. Your business/career is only a point of contact for you to communicate the gospel to your world.

    Our Lord Yahushua commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. You probably cannot go to all the world but you can go to your world. Your world is your sphere of contacts – your family, friends, colleagues, associates, and people you meet on a day to day basis. Beloved, your goal should be to present the gospel in such a clear term that everyone in your sphere has the opportunity to make a decision either to obey the gospel or not. Remember, you can persuade, you can compel but you cannot force someone to accept the gospel. Once you have done your best and the person has understood what the gospel is all about and still rejects it, then you are free from that person’s blood. You can invite a colleague to church. You can hand a waiter a handbill. You can talk to your mechanic. You can ensure that all your family that benefits from your resources are compelled to be in church. Everyone under your roof must be made to appear in church. All these efforts is to give them the opportunity to hear the gospel and make a decision for their eternity.

    Have you lived with a misplaced priority? Have you focused on your job to the detriment of the gospel? Have you been ashamed of sharing the gospel with your business partners? It is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful. The most important thing on earth is the soul of man. If you are too ashamed to help someone escape the horrors of eternity without Yahweh, then you are the most foolish person around. You are callous and if it is not too make to say even wicked. A believer that is not committed to sharing the gospel to his/her world is beyond words despicable. If you understand that everyone without the Lord Yahushua is heading to an eternity in flames of hell and you do nothing, you are beyond words wicked. Please understand today that preaching the gospel is your primary assignment here on earth and it holds the key to how much divine intervention and manifestation you can experience in your own life. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Preaching the gospel with your lifestyle and words is your first and most important task on earth.

    CONFESSION: I am an ambassador of HaMashiach (the Christ) on earth dispensing eternal verities to the peoples of the world. I do not fail. I am the light bearer both in the way I live and in the words that I speak. HaMashiach is seen in me and through me. Halleluyah!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the channels of your spirit open up to your primary assignment to the gospel in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    IS FAITH AND HOPE THE SAME?

    Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

    There is a difference between faith and hope. Hope is confident expectation of a good future or salvation. Hope is in the future. Hope never materializes because once it materializes it is no longer hope. This is very instructive and striking, never miss it. As long as you are in hope, you will never see your hope materialize because if it does, hope ceases to exist. Romans 8:24 (KJV) says, ‘For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?’ For as long as you are in the realm of hope, you will lack manifestations, because there is always tomorrow and tomorrow never comes. But faith is now. Faith is bringing hope into present reality. Thank Yahweh we do have a Blessed Hope. The Blessed Hope of the Church is the soon return of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach, the resurrection of the saved dead, the rapture of the living saints, the hope of heaven, and the hope of seeing our loved ones and friends. Thank Yahweh for that hope. We rejoice in that hope, but that’s all future tense. Jesus is coming again, whether we believe it or not. He is coming because the Word says so. The resurrection, rapture and the return of the Lord is going to take place whether we have faith in it or not.

    Faith is the force that converts your hope into your present hour inheritance. Moffatt’s translation of this verse reads: “Now faith means that we are confident of what we hope for, convinced of what we do not see.” One modern translation of Hebrews 11:1 reads: “Faith is giving substance … to things hoped for.” What Yahweh is simply telling us is that faith is laying hold of the unseen realm of hope and bringing it into the realm of reality. Too many times when it comes to receiving the Holy Spirit or healing or an answer to prayer, many people are just simply hoping they will receive and as long as they abide in hope, frustration abounds.

    But it’s not hoping that gets the job done; it’s believing. The Bible says, “Now faith is . . .” (Heb. 11:1). If it’s not now, it’s not faith. Someone said, “Well, I believe I’ll get the Holy Ghost sometime.” That’s not faith, that’s hope, because hope is always future tense or pointing to the future. But faith is now. Faith says, “I’ll receive right now; I believe I have my petition now when I pray” (see Mark 11:24). We need to realize this when it comes to receiving from Yahweh. Oh, it makes such a difference when you really believe Yahweh instead of just hoping you’ll receive your petition from Him – whether it’s receiving the Holy Ghost, healing, or any answer to prayer. At what point is your answer released? At the point of prayer, ‘… when you pray believe, that you receive them and you shall have them.’ (see Mark 11:24). Is it when you have your answer that you receive them? No, it is when you pray that you receive your answer. Whatever you cannot receive when you pray, you cannot have in reality. I hope this sinks into the spirit of someone. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Faith is now. Hope is future.

    CONFESSION: I believe the Word and my faith lays hold of my inheritance now. It is not tomorrow, it is now. I receive my expectation now. It is now my present hour reality. Halleluyah!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: That your prayer is already answered, receive it now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    DEPLOYING YAHWEH’S LOVE IN MARRIAGE

    18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
    Colossians 3:18-19 (KJV)

    The first place that the characteristics of the Yahweh-kind of love manifests is in the family between husband and wife, then extends to the children and then to the Church and society at large. This is why the failure of people to function in the Yahweh-kind of love in their family has resulted in the high rate of disintegration of families these days. The scripture is littered with instructions to love our spouses. It is only the Yahweh-kind of love that can hold marriage together making it a heaven-on-earth experience of a home. Submission is a function of humility and patience which are all characteristics of the Yahweh-kind of love. When the wife is told to submit to her own husband, it is another way of telling the wife to love their husbands. Titus 2:4-5 brought it out clearly, “ 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” When you love your husband, as a wife, you would be kind, obedient, patient, courteous, generous and appreciating him for the things he does for you and the family. The author has seen from experience as a pastor counselling numerous people that a godly woman is the best blessing a man can receive. Just as the scripture says in II Peter 3:1-2, “ 1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands? that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives? 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.”; the author has seen the impact of godly submissive wives on ungodly husbands which confirmed the Word that they are always drawn by the chaste conduct of their wives.

    When a husband loves his wife, there is a security that love brings on the home front that even Satan himself cannot dare. The love of a husband is the wall of defence of the home. When a husband loves his wife, he can go to any length to make the home comfortable for him and all inhabitants of the home. Remember that we are not talking about natural human love which is very fickle. We are talking about the Yahweh-kind of love which is a supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit. When a husband loves his wife with this divine love, the security and prosperity of the family is secured. The Yahweh-kind of love triumphs over every form of assault of the devil on the family.

    It takes a mind renewed with the Word of Yahweh and a body submitted to the Lordship of the Holy Spirit to function in the Yahweh-kind of love. When the husband loves his wife according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and the wife does same, no force of devil can introduce tension in their home. The Yahweh-kind of love has never been to the divorce court and will never. No more tension in your home from now! Shalom!

    REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love triumphs over every assault of the devil on your marriage.

    PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Help me Lord to love my spouse with the Yahweh-kind of love in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that the tension in your home disappears now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (6): IS NOT RUDE

    To be rude is to be socially incorrect in behaviour. It is of a person, lacking in refinement or grace. It is lacking civility or good manners. The Greek work is aschemoneo meaning to be (act) unbecoming, exactly how Amplified puts it. The place our spirituality is easily known and tested is in the use of words. So many prayerful people are very rude. They can easily insult the people in their lives and that does not bother them. The Yahweh-kind of love is not rude. If you get the use of your tongue right, then you are a perfect person. James 3:1-12 explained this issue very succinctly. It is a long reading, but it is worth the time. “1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us? and we turn about their whole body. 4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature? and it is set on fire of hell. 7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame? it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father? and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.”

    Love doesn’t act improperly, or dishonourably, or indecently. Love doesn’t behave in an ugly or unbecoming manner. Love doesn’t needlessly offend, or act bluntly or crudely. Love does not behave gracelessly. And so if you state it positively, love always behaves itself – it always acts properly and honourably, and decently and gracefully. Rather than being rude, love acts with common courtesy. The Yahweh-kind of love will be gracious with words as the Word commands (see Colossians 4:6). Selah!

    REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love always speaks with grace.

    FASTING EXAMPLES (5): DAVID’S FAST

    My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.Psalms 109:24 (KJV)

    The Bible didn’t tell us how long David’s fast was but for anyone that is acquainted with long fast, one will recognize that it would not have been anything less than 40 days for fatness to start failing from his flesh. When one finish even a partial fast of 40 days, your flesh will tell you that it has lost a lot in terms of fatness, let alone when the fast is a total or complete fast. David fasted so much that he become so lain that evoked mockery from people. Psalms 109: 23-25 says, ‘23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust. 24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness. 25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.’ I truly understand what David is saying here. The author believes that David’s fast was nothing less than 40 days long. It takes that long for the effects that he described to be so. The author is a witness to that.

    We have only known that David was a singer, worshipper and one after Adonai’s own heart. But how many of us know that the secret of David was probably in his life of fasting and not just fasting but fasting so long that he presses into power with God. No wonder, some Messianic prophecies came through him. Beloved, you have been singing and worshipping. That is so wonderful but Yahushua didn’t say that “this kind goes not out except by thanksgiving and worship”. He says “this kind goes not out but by fasting and prayer” (Matthew 17:21). This is very crucial because this year, Adonai wants you to touch the reality of answered prayer and some level of ease in life. How I wish, you can defy all odds and go on a long fast, long enough to receive from Elohim your desire. Most of us, we fast but before we are ready to make the connection with Adonai, we have already concluded the fast.

    The way the stories were recorded in the Bible gives some people the impression that some things happened in such a snap. I Samuel 5:19 says, ‘And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.’ Is it not so sweet to be able to get answers from Yahweh in such a snap like this. However, you must recognize that this is a narration and that it may not have happened in such a snap. Seeing that David spent such a long time in fasting, gives us a clue that some of these records that seem as if the response from Yahweh was in such an instant, may not actually be so. Some of these responses were gotten from days of fasting and praying. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Real change happen when you fast for a long time.

    CONFESSION: I long to be with you dear Father. Your presence is so sweet I don’t want to leave. I thank You for strength to tarry in Your presence in fasting and for the transformation You bring into my life thereby. Halleluyah!!!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: You shall begin to find fasting interesting from this day in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    FASTING EXAMPLES (4): EZRA’S FAST

    Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.Ezra 8:21 (KJV)

    Have you been in a situation that because of your faith in Adonai and how much you have represented Him and His power you were faced with a situation where the power of that your God must be seen or you are put to shame. This was actually the situation that Ezra found himself. Adonai gave Ezra favour before Artaxerxes the king of Babylon and the king was sending him to Judea. In the presence of the king, Ezra had boasted of the might of Adonai to keep those that trust Him, and because of that, he couldn’t ask the king for security escorts. So, they were left to themselves and the wolves on the way to Judea and except Adonai intervenes it would be impossible to reach Judea alive with all the nations along the way and their hatred for the Jews. What was Ezra’s response to this dilemma? He proclaimed a fast. It is not clear how many days Ezra’s fast lasted. Ezra’s fast is another example of group fast that yielded massive results. This fast has also validated what Yahushua said that “this kind” answers to only fasting and prayer.

    We are seeing different situations that have confronted people and how they have responded in fasting to secure interventions from on high. Principles are best communicated through examples. The principle of fasting has been validated through numerous examples of scriptures of real threatening situations that secured divine intervention. Your case is not any different. You too can secure divine intervention this season. You don’t need to cry and let the enemy see your tears. There is a weapon at your disposal and that is fasting. Push the plates aside for once. Sincerely, 40 days in 365 days of the year is not too much to secure an intervention and end the looming shame. You can intensify your prayers with a fast and the Lord is calling you today to come up hither where you can take delivery of whatever is your issue. We have heard testimonies of people with diverse sicknesses that entered into fast and before they came out, that sickness was dead and they walked free.

    Ezra’s testimony was that of divine protection and preservation and it was secured through fasting. Beloved, thus says the Lord to you “come up hither”. Would you come? Would you declare a fast to facilitate the performance that you desire? The ball is in your court. Seeing we are living in the very tail end of the last days, what other way can we be prepared for the return of the Lord than to wait on Him in a fast? Remember that it is to those that look for him that He would appear the second time to. Hebrews 9:28 says, ‘So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.’ Are you ready for the rapture?

    REMEMBER: Adonai is waiting to manifest His Almightiness to you.

    PRAYER: Sweet Heavenly Father, thank You for Your word to me today. I ask for the grace to defy the flesh and take a long fast in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I declare that grace is released upon you today to take that long fast that will that will secure that intervention for you in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    FASTING EXAMPLES (2): DANIEL’S FAST

    2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks. 3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.Daniel 10:2-3 (KJV)

    We are going to see several fasting examples in the Bible with the view of learning how fasting works and how to engage it. We are looking at Daniel’s fast today. The first thing about Daniel’s fast is that he purposed in his heart to walk in holiness. Until you are all out to walk in holiness taking advantage of the nature of righteousness you already possess in HaMashiach (Christ), you are not ready for fasting. You must decide to do away with any form of sin and unrighteousness before you make the decision to fast. With that decision, the fasting will help you permanent it by helping you mortify the flesh, setting your spirit free as it were to drive hard after Adonai. That was the starting point of the life of Daniel (Dan.1:8).

    Daniel’s fast is a partial fast in which meat, wine, and other rich foods are avoided in favour of vegetables and water for typically three weeks in order to be more sensitive to God. Daniel experimented this fast for 10 days in which afterwards “at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat” (Daniel 1.15). Then, after the experiment, Daniel was on this diet for three years of his education in Babylon. So in Daniel’s fast, you eat only vegetables and water for at least three weeks. It is important to know that Daniel’s fast is only an option when you are doing a major fast. A major fast is a fast of from 21 days to 40 days and upwards. Daniel was on that kind of diet for three years. No wonder at the end of their education, “in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” (Daniel 1:20). This type of diet imparts on your mentality so much.

    Another major factor in Daniel’s fast is that it was a fast that was laced with prayers, minimum three sessions daily. It is a fast that you are highly “prayerised”. Because it is not a total fast, you have plenty of energy to pray. You cannot be doing Daniel’s fast and not be having a minimum of three prayer sessions daily. In fact, to have strength to go about your duties and pray is the reason that it is not a total fast. Daniel was working for the king and has to attend to his duties, so he had to eat something to have some energy to work. This is the reason it is not a total fast, so plan to pray at least three times daily all through your fasting season. As you focus, you shall come to visions and revelations of the Lord as was the case with Daniel. What a sweet communion.

    REMEMBER: Daniel’s fast is a fast where you take vegetables and water only for a minimum of 21 days.

    PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to be focused and disciplined to go through this kind of fast this year in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: As you start this kind of fast, I decree it shall impart on your mentality and eternity in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
