    SCRIPTURAL FASTING

    Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
    Matthew 6:16 (KJV)

    There are three activities that are non-negotiable for the believer. They are a matter of when and not if. First is giving. Second is praying and the third is fasting. These activities are a matter of living for the believer. You cannot live the life of HaMashiach (Christ, Messiah, the Anointed one) without giving, praying and fasting. So many have chosen giving and praying and forsaken fasting and that accounts for the powerlessness in the Church today. With all that Yahushua is, he needed to fast for forty days, that should tell you that fasting is a must, it is a matter of when and not if. Until you fast, you cannot connect the power to fulfill your destiny on earth. Until you fast, there are what Yahushua called “this kind” that cannot be solved in your life (see Matthew 17:21). You should be fasting as often as you are praying and giving. Everybody in all ages that have connected with power with Yahweh fasted. Fasting does not change Elohim but fasting changes you.

    One of the things that stops our access to Yahweh is the workings of the flesh. The carnal nature of man works against him in connecting with Yahweh. Romans 8:6-8 says, ‘6 For to be carnally minded is death? but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.’ What fasting does is to deal with the flesh so well that your spirit can rise to connect with the Spirit of Yahweh. A 21-day fast will help you crucify the flesh and give you access into the horizon of communication with Elohim that you never knew was possible.

    Isaiah 58:6-8 implies that fasting must of necessity go with prayer. Verse 6 says, ‘Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?’ This is done as you pray to loose the bands of wickedness. So acceptable fasting includes prayer. Fasting without prayer is hunger strike. Isaiah 40:31 describes fasting as waiting upon the Yahweh. This means that most times of your fast should be in quiet expectation in His presence for what the Elohim might say or show to you. This is waiting upon Yahweh; fixing your gaze upon Elohim in expectation. Major part of this waiting on Elohim is reading, studying and meditating on His Word. As you do this during your fast, you are illuminated. Psalms 119:105 says, ‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.’ Elohim’s word begins to enlighten your feet, showing you what to do on pressing issues of your life. This is what scriptural fast is all about.

    REMEMBER: Scriptural fast is crucifying the flesh, praying, waiting and being enlightened by the Word.

    CONFESSION: I am a product of the Word of Yahweh therefore, I am conscious that therein lies my life, future and development. As I wait upon Elohim, my paths are enlightened. Glory be Yahweh.

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: From today fasting shall be the delight of your soul in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    WHAT IS FASTING?

    And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
    Matthew 4:2 (KJV)

    There is a misunderstanding among believers as to what a fast is and because of that lack of knowledge, Satan deceives a lot of believers. Webster’s, and also the Bible Dictionary, define fasting as, “abstinence from food. Especially as a religious observance.” (FAST: “To abstain from food.”). We may ask the question, “Is water food?“ First, we will consider Webster’s definition of food, and it reads as follows: “Food: nutriment; nourishment in solid form.” Food and water-drinking are two different things. To do without water results in thirsting, and thirsting means, “a great desire to drink.” Fasting will be understood better if we recognize these facts. One should not associate abstinence from water, with the subject of fasting; thus, we see the contradistinction between food and water. Fasting has nothing with drinking water. In fact, you should drink water while you are fasting for several reasons. When you are on a fast, your body goes into cleansing called detoxification. This process needs a lot of water to complete. When we are talking about a fast here, we are talking about a protracted fast or a complete fast. We are dealing with the type of fast taken by the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach. A fast like that of Paul, or Daniel: “Bible Fast.” A complete fast is a fast from the time hunger leaves, until the time hunger returns. Such a fast may continue from twenty-one to forty days, depending on the individual, and also on the amount of time it takes you to get your prayers through to Heaven.

    A short fast is a fast of less than ten days. You should not fast for more than three days without drinking water. Any fast of more than three days should involve drinking plenty of water in order to help the body clean up. This cleansing of the body is one of the physical benefits of fasting. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and to attempt a major fast without water, would defile and pollute the body. Scripture states: “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy.” I Cor. 3:17. This accounts for why people have destroyed their body with ignorance while fasting and that ignorance has given wrong impression about fasting to others.

    Water is not food and cannot break a fast. You are hurting your body when you take a major fast without drinking water and it is pure ignorance and not in line with scriptures. Paul knew the difference between ‘thirsting” and “fasting.” He distinguishes them in II Cor. 11:27, “in hunger and thirst, IN FASTINGS OFTEN.” If “hunger and thirst” were the same thing as “fasting,” he would not have repeated the same thing, any more than “cold” and “nakedness” are the same. Please note that a comma is inserted between each phrase.

    REMEMBER: Fasting is abstinence from food.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, I thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for the zeal to fast from today the right way in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree a fresh hunger for a closer walk with Yahweh for you today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    WHO IS YAHUSHUA HAMASHIACH? (B)

    Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
    I John 4:17 [KJV]

    We continue from yesterday. Remember, we are looking at discovering who Yahushua is in order to see who we are in Him. So, who exactly is Yahushua HaMashiach?

    1. Yahushua HaMashiach ascended to the right hand side of the Father (see Luke 24:49-53; Acts 1:6-11).
      1. He is interceding for us (see Romans 8:34). That is why you cannot fail because someone is interceding for you. That is why also you must be fervent in prayer because as he is so are you here.
      2. He is our eternal mediator (see I Timothy 2:5).
      3. He is our Saviour. In His name we are saved (see Acts 4:12; 5:31). He is the only Saviour. He is the complete Saviour (see Hebrews 7:25). He is a personal Saviour (see Romans 8.9,10).
    2. Yahushua HaMashiach is coming again (see Acts 1:11).
      1. In the Rapture of the Saints (see I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
      2. In His Second Coming (see Revelation 19:11-21). He is going to triumph over the anti-HaMashiach and establish His government.
      3. Millennial reign (see Revelation 20:1-7). Yahushua HaMashiach and the saints are going to reign in this world for a thousand years.

    The effects of who Yahushua is on the believer includes:

    1. Power over Satan, sin and sickness. Romans 6:11 says that you are dead to sin. You have complete dominion over sin. If a Believer is living in sin now, it is completely his choice and that is why he will go to hell because he chose to sin instead of dominate sin. By what Yahushua has done, you have dominion over Satan because you are seating with Yahushua in the heavenly realms far above all the powers of the enemy (see Ephesians 1:17-23; 2:6; Colossians 1:13). In Yahushua, you have dominion over sicknesses (see 1 Peter 2:24). You now dwell in Zion (see Hebrew 12:22-24; Isaiah 33:20,24). You live where sickness and disease cannot access you. You must refuse to be sick and if there is any sickness or disease fastening itself to your body, I curse it now and command it to wither in Yahushua’s Name Amen.
    2. You are rich and wealthy in Yahushua. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says that Yahushua was made poor that you might be rich. Revelation 5:12 says that he received riches, glory and blessing for you. You have no business with smallness, poverty and lack. It is part of what life in Yahushua affords you. It is not a function of your work/job or business. It is your inheritance in Yahushua. Philippians 3:19 says that in Yahushua Yahweh supplies your need according to His riches in glory. You have riches in glory and you should never live any less here on earth. This year, you are going to walk in massive wealth.
    3. You become the tabernacle of Yahweh on earth. Your spirit, soul and body becomes the expression of divinity on earth. I Corinthians 3:16 says, ‘Know ye not that ye are the temple of Yahweh, and that the Spirit of Yahweh dwelleth in you?’ Yahweh dwells in you by the Holy Spirit. That means that whatever is available to Yahweh is accessible by you. You reign and rule on earth just like the Father does. All because you are in Yahushua HaMashiach.

    REMEMBER: With all we have seen about Yahushua, he still fasted 40 days.

    PRAYER: Beloved Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word to me today. I understand that if Yahushua has to fast to fulfill His mission on earth that I can do no less if I want my mission to be fulfilled, so help me to fast and pray in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that your destiny opens up this time as you wait in fasting and prayer in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    JANUARY 2024 PROPHETIC WORD

    Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

    A very great Happy New Year to you beloved! Like play we are in a new year 2024. We are very grateful to Yahweh for His mercies that saw us through from January 2023 to this very Day January 1, 2024. To You Lord alone be all the glory in Yahushua ’ Name Amen! We trust Yahweh that December 2023 was explosive for you here with #WordForTodayDevotional where Yahweh took us through the mystery of divine direction. We explored dimensions in divine direction, from seeing the value of instruction, to checking if we are on the pedestal where we could be led, to finding exactly how Yahweh leads, to understanding how to access His voice, to a great insight on how to develop our human spirit to recognize the leading of Yahweh, to exploring the profits of being led by Yahweh. We sincerely believe Yahweh that you would never miss your step with Yahweh again in life. As you apply what you have learnt and become diligent in developing your spirit, you will grow to instantly recognize the leading of your heavenly Father even in the very minutest detail of life.

    The beginning of a thing is very crucial to having a great ending of the same. If 2024 is going to be great for you, then you must be mindful of these days of the beginning of the year. Glory to Yahweh, we serve a Father that knows the end from the beginning, so if we are diligent in following Him, we can be sure that both the beginning through to the ending will be just as wonderful as the person taking us on the ride – our heavenly Father. In December 2023, we saw the importance of divine direction. So this January, we are going to the altar of prayer to know how the Lord would have us go this year 2024. Every child of Yahweh prays but James 5:16 (AMPC) tells us that it is only the earnest, heart-felt and continued prayer of a righteous man that makes tremendous power available which is dynamic in its working. 2024 has been declared as our year of “TRIUMPH.” As a believer your destiny is to triumph always. But how do I make this a reality in my situation. I have been praying and it seems nothing is happening. Remember that in James 5:16, the example we were given was that of earnest prayer and it came from Elijah. It means that if your prayer can be earnest enough, it would make tremendous power available giving you the necessary change of story that you desire. So, how do I come to this dimension of earnestness? It is through fasting. This is not just a short fast like 24 hours to three days. No, we are talking about long fast of 10 days to 40 days.

    Our prophetic focus for the Month of January 2024 therefore, is ‘AS I WAIT ON THE LORD I AM STRENGTHEN TO LIVE IN TRIUMPH.’ (Isaiah 40:31). Lamentations 3:27 says, “It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.” It is important that we bear the yoke of fasting this January so we can take delivery of what the Lord has already prepared for us in Yahushua this 2024. No matter the kind of situation, you are confronted with right now, it must bow according to the scriptures that cannot be broken to the power in prayer and fasting. Fasting develops and releases the required spiritual earnestness to birth any turnaround you long for. This month is the month of our fasting and we are going to look at the intricacies of fasting. Determine in yourself that enough is enough for that issue in your life and apply for the earnestness that releases the tremendous power that is dynamic in its working. This is your year to experience the glory of living in Yahushua. Fasting is the missing link that probably you are yet to apply to break that stubborn issue in your life. It is time to push the plates aside and see the glory of the resurrected Yahushua who is your life manifested in practical terms. Shalom!

    THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of life, of seeing a brand new year of 2024 and the beginning month. Thank You for sending Yahushua HaMashiach to pay the prize for my sins and for the privilege of your presence in my life by the Holy Spirit. Thank You for all you did for us in the month of December. Thank You for providing me an avenue to deal with all kinds of life challenges by prayer and fasting. Thank You for the strength to wait upon you this month like never before in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that this month of January shall not see your end but you shall see its end. Your eyes have seen January 2024, if Yahushua tarries, your eyes shall also see January 2025. I decree no evil news shall be heard in your life, family and job/business. This month, the heavens open over you and your family for a turnaround your world cannot deny. This month, every agenda of evil against you is shattered now. You shall only walk in success, increase, favour, supernatural possibilities and triumphs on every side you turn. No man shall be able to stand against you and your progress all the days of this month. Testimonies shall be your daily bread this month and celebration unending shall be in your house. Receive strength to wait in fasting this month in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen.

    THE WAY IS BORN – MERRY CHRISTMAS

    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    Luke 2:6-7 says, ‘6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.’ The groping in the dark was finally over. The Way was born. Angels heralded it with joy. Luke 2:8-15, ‘8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising Yahweh, and saying, 14 Glory to Yahweh in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.’

    Beloved, our search came to an end the day HaMashiach was born. Throughout all ages, people had desired to related with Yahweh in a more personal intimate ways but it was impossible because of sin. Humanity lost Eden the place of Yahweh’s presence (Emmanuel) and unfortunately we didn’t know how to get back there. We lost the way. Oh! but what is this sound the angels just heralded now? It is joy that the way to the Father was born. We just got back the way to Eden.. This is something to shout about. No wonder, the angels could not contain their joy. Humanity just got back the way to the presence of Yahweh. This means beloved, that you should never miss your way again in life because Christ the way is born and today we are remembering and celebrating this good tidying of great joy. Halleluyah!

    Divine direction should not be a mystery any more. Nothing in life should be a mystery any more because the demystifier is born. Best of all, we are now in Him. I am now at home with the Father living right inside of me. Yahweh is no more a mystery to me, all because of Yahushua HaMashiach. Beloved, hope you know Him. Hope you are in Him. Hope you have surrendered your life to Yahushua HaMashiach and living in love with Him. Rejoice if you have done that because you are the most blessed and favoured on earth. Rejoice today and share with someone that the way is born. The Way to the Father, the Way to life and peace. The Way to eternity in the Kingdom of Yahweh. The Way that has separated us from eternity in the lake of fire. Halleluyah! Merry Christmas!

    REMEMBER: The way to the direction we are looking for is Yahushua HaMashiach.

    THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, thank you for the birth of Yahushua HaMashiach. Thank You for loving us so much that You brought us back to the place of Your presence, to Eden. Thank You for saving me and I ask that someone somewhere who has not known You would see the light today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: Today shall mark the beginning of unending celebration in your life and family in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    HOW YAHWEH LEADS (4): PROPHECY

    And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Ephesians 4:11 (KJV)

    There is a spiritual gift of prophecy (see I Corinthians 12:10) and there is the office of the prophet or the ministry gift of the prophet. The spiritual gift of Prophecy is simply speaking to exhort the brethren. It does not involve foretelling. I Corinthians 14:3 says, ‘But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.’ Anyone that is filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues can be used to prophesy. Apostle Paul encouraged believers to desire the gift of prophecy (I Corinthians 14:1). Then we have the office or ministry of the prophet. For one to function in the office of the prophet, he would have to have the gift of discerning of Spirit, the gift of the Word of Knowledge, the gift of the Word of Wisdom and the gift of prophecy at work in his life. The ministry of the prophet involves foretelling. Prophecy in whatever form is not the way Yahweh leads. Prophecy is only to confirm what the Lord has already told you by the inward witness. The Lord didn’t place prophets in the New Testament to lead Christians.

    There is a difference between the Old Testament saints and the New Testament saints. While in the Old Testament, prophets were Yahweh’s consulting centres. Anyone that wants to know the will of Yahweh would go to consult the prophet. This is because the people did not have the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, there are three people that are anointed to stand in their various offices – The King, the Priest and the Prophet. The prophet hears from Yahweh and relates to the people. This has changed in the New Testament. In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit has fallen on the people, now living in their recreated human spirits. The Holy Spirit now leads the people through the Inward Witness. So you are no more to go to the Prophet to hear from Yahweh for you. The primary way Yahweh speaks to you now is by the inward witness of the Holy Spirit. The New Testament prophet can confirm the Word that the Lord already gave you by the Inward Witness.

    Pa Hagin told of an experience that happened to him along this line. He knew a young man in his church that he has an inward witness that Yahweh was calling the young man to the ministry. But he never did tell him a word. But on a particular Sunday evening service as they were praying around the alter; he would go round to pray upon the members as the Holy Spirit would lead him. He came upon this young man and these words came out of his mouth, “This is a confirmation of what I said to you at 3 o’clock this afternoon as you were praying down in the storm cellar. You asked for a confirmation and this is it. That was Me speaking to you.” After the service Pa Hagin checked on the young man to know if he was praying down the storm cellar this afternoon and he confirmed it. So prophets are to confirm what Yahweh has already told you. Shalom!

    REMEMBER: Prophecy should confirm what you already received by the inward witness.

    CONFESSION: My Father talks to me in His Word and by the Inward Witness. I do not seek to hear Him from prophecy as the way He is leading me, rather, prophecy confirms what He already told me. Hallelujah!!!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: Every evil seed that has been sown into your life by contact with fake prophets is uprooted now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    YAHWEH HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

    For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
    Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

    In Jeremiah 1:5, Yahweh says ‘Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.’ Yahweh has a specific plan for you. Yahweh has a general plan for all of us His creation but also for us individually, Yahweh has a specific assignment. This is crucial because life becomes a frustration without taking delivery of the plan of Yahweh for our individual lives. So many people are frustrated even with fat bank accounts and all that money could buy. We have seen people parking their cars and going into the bush to commit suicide. So frustration is not just about not affording this world’s comfort. There is a plan for your life, if you are not functioning in that plan, there will be a hollow in your heart that can sometimes drive people to insanity of behaviour. Yahweh is stirring you up to seek Him for the unfolding of His plan for you. Whatever you are not looking for, you may not find.

    Jesus told a parable illustrating that the Kingdom is like a pearl of great price. Matthew 13:45-46 says ‘45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.‘ Your destiny is like a precious pearl. Unfortunately, many people are not seeking to find this precious destiny they have in Yahushua HaMashiach. It will not drop on your lap. Every precious mineral isn’t found on the surface. Beloved, Yahweh has a great destiny for you. Wake up and seek Yahweh today to take delivery of the steps to take to fulfill it. Your own joy and peace is a function of living in Yahweh’s dream for you. Your protection and preservation is tied to fulfilling Yahweh’s plan for you. It is worth every effort to discover and walk in it.

    The first thing to do is to align yourself with Yahweh first. You must be born again if you have not done that. You must accept the life of Yahweh first into your spirit to be alive towards Yahweh. There can never be a connection between a wood and an iron. It is only the living that can praise the Lord. It is only in Christ that you are made alive (see I Corinthians 15:22). When you come alive towards Yahweh, then you are in the same plane to receive Yahweh’s plan for you and the instructions and direction that will help you fulfil it. 2024 is going to be your greatest year ever because you are not going to go through it casually like you have done with other years. From now schedule retreat this ending of the year targeting getting instructions on how to run your 2024. This is very critical. Selah.

    REMEMBER: Yahweh has a plan for you and you would need to seek Yahweh for the delivery.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, Thank You for Your Word to me today. I believe you have a plan for me as your word says. I am set to walk in your perfect will for me. I ask that you unfold to me the details of what I should do in 2024 to practically walk in your perfect will for me in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that as you seek the Lord, you shall receive divine direction for 2024 in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    THANKFUL FOR NOVEMBER 2023

    And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
    Colossians 3:17 (KJV)

    We are grateful to the Lord for bringing us to the last day of this great month. It has indeed been an eventful one of torrential order of the Word on this platform. We return all the glory to the Lord Yahushua. Being the last day of the month, it is a day of thanksgiving for us at #WordForTodayDevotional. Today we recount all the Lord has done for us and we overflow with thanksgiving. We also reflect on how thanksgiving enhances our operation in the supernatural. Thanksgiving is like a signature in the supernatural. Our opening texts admonishes us that whatsoever you do in word or deed, you must punctuate it with thanksgiving to the Father in the name of the Lord Yahushua. This sounds simple but that is actually why many are cut off from the supernatural manifestation. When it come to prayer and operating in the supernatural, thanksgiving is an inevitable practice. It is an inescapable protocol of this kingdom. In the first place, access to the throne room is only by thanksgiving. Psalms 100:4 says, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Without thanksgiving, you are not even admitted into the courts of the Father. How can you operate in the supernatural if you are an outsider or operating from the outside.

    Another thought is, whatever you received from the Lord is only sustained by thanksgiving. Then, you cannot be thankful, if you are not joyful. You cannot be thoughtful and not be joyful. You cannot be joyful and not be grateful. You cannot be grateful and not be thankful. If you cannot think, you cannot thank. The Lord has done so much but until you can sit down and think, you cannot be full of thanks. Deuteronomy 28:47-48 says, “47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; 48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.” If you don’t rejoice in the Lord for His mercies, you cannot be thankful. If you are not joyful, you provoke the Lord to destroy even the blessing He has already given you. So your blessing is only sustained in thanksgiving.

    The Lord actually cursed the blessing in the lives of the priest because they failed to return with thanksgiving. Malachi 2:1-2 says, “1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.” Beloved, thanksgiving is your way to the blessings of the supernatural and the only way to sustain them. Shalom!

    REMEMBER: Thanksgiving is your way to step into the supernatural and remain there.

    THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, we are not worthy of the least of Your mercies. What shall we say for bringing us to the end of this great month, no loss, no tears, we saw goodness and mercies, abundance of blessings in front and at the back. Thank You for the salvation of my soul. Thank You for the continuous flow of Your Word on this platform. Thank You for Your preservation, provision and supplies. Thank You for opening my eyes to the reality of the supernatural this month. To You alone be all the glory in the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: As this month ends today, I decree that there shall be no carry-over of November’s blessings. I decree that within the remaining hours that you enter practically into all that the Lord has released for you this month. As the month begins to close, I decree that your intimacy with the Holy Spirit enters into new dimensions leading to the harvest of increase, abundance, advantage of the Holy Spirit, favour and glory from now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    SUPERNATURAL GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT (9): THE INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES

    The interpretation of tongues is the supernatural showing forth by the Spirit the meaning of an utterance in other tongues. Also, it is not translation of tongues; it is the interpretation of tongues. The gift of interpretation of tongues is the least gift of all of the gifts of the Spirit because it depends upon another gift — divers kinds of tongues — in order to operate. It does not operate unless tongues have been in operation. The purpose of the gift of interpretation of tongues is to render the gift of tongues understandable to the hearers so that the whole church congregation, as well as the one who gave the utterance in an unknown tongue, may know what has been said and may be edified thereby. Paul said, “. . . greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, THAT THE CHURCH MAY RECEIVE EDIFYING” (1 Cor. 14:5). But can’t Yahweh speak to us in some other way in the public assembly? Yes, He can and does. We have other public messages given by the Spirit of Yahweh that are not interpretation of tongues; they are a manifestation of the gift of prophecy. For example, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs are also given by the Holy Spirit through the gift of prophecy.

    In private prayer it is not necessary that everything we utter in other tongues be clear to our understanding, because Paul said, “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful” (1 Cor. 14:14). Therefore, it isn’t necessary that everything I pray in tongues be clear to my understanding or be interpreted because I am not talking to myself, I am talking to Yahweh. What I pray in tongues is clear to Yahweh and that is sufficient: “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, BUT UNTO GOD: for no man understandeth him; how-beit in the spirit HE SPEAKETH MYSTERIES” (1Cor. 14:2). Yet on some occasions Yahweh may desire that we interpret our prayers. Paul suggests this in First Corinthians 14:13: “Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.” There may be times, if it is as the Spirit of Yahweh wills, that we know what we are praying about in tongues in our personal devotions, and Yahweh will give us the interpretation.

    1 CORINTHIANS 14:27 says, ‘If any man speak in an unknown tongue, LET IT BE BY TWO, OR AT THE MOST BY THREE, and that by course; and LET ONE INTERPRET’. In ministering publicly in tongues in any one service, Paul is saying here that it should be done by two or at the most by three people. In other words, only two or three people at the most should participate. Selah!

    REMEMBER: The gift of interpretation of tongues is supernatural interpretation of what was spoken in the manifestation of the diverse kinds of tongues.

    PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I desire to function in the gifts of the Spirit according to Your Will. I ask that You help me to always maintain connection with Your Spirit, so I can be in the position to receive anytime according to His will in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: As this month is ending tomorrow your supernatural status just escalates to higher dimensions. No carry-over of November blessings in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    SUPERNATURAL GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT (8): DIVERSE KINDS OF TONGUES

    … to another divers kinds of tongues? …
    I Corinthians 12:10 (KJV)

    The word “divers” in First Corinthians 12:10 is italicized, which means that it was added by the translator. Actually, this verse reads, “… to another, kinds of tongues. . . .” However, in another scripture, Paul said that God set in the Church diversities of tongues (1 Cor. 12:28); therefore, we would not be out of line scripturally to say “divers” kinds of tongues, or different kinds of tongues. This utterance gift of tongues is an important gift in that tongues is the door into the supernatural. This doesn’t necessarily mean the gift of tongues is the best gift, for as we indicated previously, the best gift is the gift needed at the moment. The Gift of Tongues Is a Supernatural Sign. Divers kinds of tongues is supernatural utterance by the Holy Spirit in languages never learned by the speaker, nor understood by the speaker, nor necessarily always understood by the hearer. Speaking with tongues has nothing whatsoever to do with linguistic ability; it has nothing to do with the mind or the intellect of man. It is a vocal miracle of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, one reason we speak in tongues is that the Lord Yahushua said this is one sign which should follow believers. Also, tongues is the scriptural, initial evidence also of the baptism in the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4). It is important to understand that the gift of tongues is unique to the dispensation of the Church Age.

    Every spirit-filled believer speaks in tongues. In addition to praying in tongues in one’s individual prayer life, it is also true that there is a public side to speaking in tongues. Paul said that not everyone would be used in what we call the public ministry of tongues, for he said in First Corinthians 12:30, “… do all speak with tongues? …” The obvious answer is no because in this verse Paul is talking about the public ministry of diversities of tongues which is a ministry gift denoting more the prophetic office, not the devotional gift of tongues. Some take First Corinthians 12:30 out of its context and conclude that Paul was saying, “Speaking in tongues isn’t for everyone. Therefore, you can be filled with the Spirit without speaking with tongues.” However, again, we must remember that here Paul is talking about the ministry gift of tongues, for he began by saying, “AND GOD HATH SET SOME IN THE CHURCH, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, DIVERSITIES OF TONGUES” (1 Cor. 12:28). Ministry gifts or offices are “set” in the Church by Yahweh; they are people called to the fivefold ministry. Then he asked the question in First Corinthians 12:29 and 30, “Are all apostles? . . .” No, all are not apostles: Let’s look a little further in verse 30: “. . . do all speak with tongues? . . .” The obvious answer is no. Paul was talking here about fivefold ministry gifts, just as he was talking about fivefold ministry gifts when he asked, “Are all apostles? . . .” (v. 29), and so forth.

    REMEMBER: The gift of diverse kinds of tonguing is a supernatural utterance in tongues not learned by the speaker.

    CONFESSION: My prayer is enriched by the gift of tongues. It deepens my relationship with the Spirit and opens the door of the supernatural for me. Thank You Lord for this gift in my life. Halleluyah!
