RECEIVE YOUR HEALING (5): BY DECLARING IT

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Mark 11:23 [KJV]

There is a spiritual law that will work for you or against you whether you are conscious of it or not; whether you know that the law exists or not. That spiritual law is captured in our opening text: You shall have whatsoever you say. Your prayer notwithstanding, you shall have whatsoever you say. You know you can holler in prayer so loud and still afterwards continue to talk in ways that are not consistent with the Word. Your words can cancel your prayer. Not what you prayed but what you say after the prayer is established for you. You can come to a man of Yahweh who lays hands on you and prayed and as you come out of his presence someone asks you, “how are you doing?”. Your answer to that simple question can cancel the prayer that was just made for you by your pastor. That is a spiritual principle. You shall have whatsoever you say. If you are constantly talking sickness and disease, you will never be able to walk in divine health because you will have whatsoever you say. “I am sick” keeps you in perpetual sickness. “My head is aching”, activates the ache that the devil has been waiting for you to accept. This is very vital.

RECEIVE YOUR HEALING (4): LAMBANO IT BY FAITH

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

The power of Yahweh is always constant, the variable is our faith. In many instances of the people that Yahushua HaMashiach healed, he alluded that it was their faith that procured the healing for them. Our opening verse is one of those. Two blind men followed Yahushua one time. I sincerely didn’t know how they did, maybe some folks helped them by leading them by the hands. They were crying “Thou Son of David, have mercy on us”. That was intensive prayer. Crying shows their desperation for a change of situation. Where there is faith, prayer is usually intensive. All these praying and sleeping is just to show that it is not yet serious; when it is serious and you need a change, you would cry out like these blind men. But crying as good as it is, is not enough to secure you your testimony. Yahushua asked them, ‘Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.’ (Matthew 9:28). ‘29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.’(Matthew 9:29-30). Beloved, it is always according to your faith. With your charged faith in the Word of Yahweh, you can secure your healing on your own on your altar of prayer. It is all about your faith.

RECEIVE YOUR HEALING (3): BY THE LAYING ON OF HANDS

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mark 16:18 (KJV)

It is important to clarify here and now that the healer is Yahushua HaMashiach. He is the Great Physician who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. When Yahushua HaMashiach finished his earthly ministry, he gave us a person that is just like him called the Holy Spirit to continue his ministry. He commissioned the disciples that later were called apostles to go and preach and do all those things he was doing. He said, ‘as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.’ (John 20:21). Now Yahushua HaMashiach is in us in the person of the Holy Spirit. So whenever we walk according to the Word of Yahweh, whatever medium that He asked us to use per time, becomes the manifestation of the Spirit of Yahweh to effect the release of the Power of Yahweh. Today the Lord Yahushua is commanding us to lay our hands on the sick and that they will recover. When we walk in obedience and lay our hands, those hands becomes the extension of His hands because He lives in us by the Spirit of Yahweh.

RECEIVE YOUR HEALING (2): BY THE ANOINTING OIL

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
James 5:15 (KJV)

The ways of Yahweh are surely higher than our ways (see Isaiah 55:9). Finite human mind sometimes wants to understand the omniscience of Yahweh and that is what most times short-circuits him from the power of Yahweh. It is obedience to the Word of Yahweh that commands results to the believer not trying to figure Yahweh out. Yahweh may not be making sense to your little sense but His power is activated upon obedience to that seemingly nonsense instruction. The Anointing Oil is a medium through which the Holy Spirit flows to touch lives. Yahweh commands prophets to administer this mystery of the Anointing Oil and upon obedience, the Spirit of Yahweh comes upon the object and consecrates it. In the Old Testament, the Anointing Oil was specially formulated according to Yahweh’s instruction in Exodus 30:22-38. No other person is permitted to make such formulation or use it. Upon anything that the Holy Anointing Oil comes, it consecrates, setting it apart for Yahweh’s use. In I Samuel 16:13 the Word says, ‘Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.’ It was the oil that Prophet Samuel poured on David but upon that oil coming in contact with David, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him.

RECEIVE YOUR HEALING (1) BY CASTING OUT THE EVIL SPIRIT RESPONSIBLE

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

From all we have learnt so far, it is obvious that sickness is from Satan. It does not matter the name the laboratory gave it, it is called the spirit of infirmity and it can manifest with so many names. The Lord Yahushua came into the house of Peter and saw Peter’s wife’s mother sick with what the doctor or laboratory called fever but when the Lord Yahushua touched her the fever left. (see Matthew 8:14-15). That shows you that it was a spirit behind that fever and it was the spirit that left and when it did, the resultant fever was gone too (see Luke 4:38-39). In Mark 9:17-27, we saw a person dumb and deaf but when the Lord Yahushua attended to him, we saw that it was a spirit of dumb and deaf that held him in bondage. In the laboratory, it was discovered that he was dumb and deaf maybe because of physical malfunction of organs but without any medical solution when that evil spirit responsible for that condition was cast out, he was able to speak and hear. Littered in scripture are examples that shows us that whatever your condition that it is the spirit of infirmity behind that operation and manipulation.

SICK? CHECK IF YOU ARE IN LOVE

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

The love of Yahweh is a protective shield over your life and destiny, hence the admonition to keep yourself in the love of Yahweh. Without the love of Yahweh, you are vulnerable to the attacks of Satan. So whenever you are attacked by sickness, it is wisdom to check if you are walking in love towards Yahweh and the brethren. Walking in love towards Yahweh implies that you are keeping his commandments. I John 5:3 says, ‘For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.’ If you are willfully living in sin, then you don’t love Yahweh and not walking in love will expose you to Satanic attacks with sickness and diseases.

SICK? CHECK FOR UNFORGIVENESS

And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
Matthew 18:34 (KJV)

In Matthew 18:21-35, an interesting discussion with Yahushua and his disciples ensued. It started by Apostle Peter asking Yahushua, ‘how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?’ (vs 21). The Lord Yahushua answered him ‘I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.’ (vs 22). He then went ahead to tell them that the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, which was settling accounts with his servants. One was brought to him who owed him 10,000 talents and as he did not have anything to pay his debt, the king commanded that he, his wife, children and all that he had be sold and debt recovered. This servant fell down and worshipped this king saying “lord have patience with me, and I will pay you all.”(vs 26). The lord of that servant was moved with compassion and loosed him and forgave him the debt. But this same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a 100 pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying “Pay me that you owe.” His fellow servant fell down at his feet begging him saying, “Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.” but he wouldn’t be persuaded but went and cast him into prison till he should pay the debt. When his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sad and came and told their lord. Then his lord sent for him and said “You evil servant; I forgave you all that debt because you begged me, should you not have had compassion on your fellow servant even as I had on you?” His lord was angry and delivered him to the tormentors till he should pay all that he owed him. The Lord Yahushua concluded this story by saying, ‘So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.’(vs 35).

SICK? CHECK FOR BITTERNESS

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Hebrews 12:15 (KJV)

Where you are operating from by redemption, no sickness or disease can access you there. For you to be afflicted, you would have to abdicate your elevated seating in Yahushua HaMashiach. That is why, we shall be discussing what to check immediately you notice an attack on your health. A good medical doctor, would send his patient to the laboratory to check what is actually the issue with his health. As a good spiritual juggernaut, you must learn how to check to know the channel that affliction came through to you from. The source is Satan but he uses channels to connect to his victims. Our opening text says that bitterness when it takes root in your heart will trouble you. It will trouble every aspect of your life because it will cut you off from the lifeline of the Holy Spirit. The truth is it requires diligence to maintain the grace of Yahweh upon your life. You must be diligent to see that there is no bitterness in your heart. Bitterness troubles you. Bitterness defiles you. It opens you up to the attack of Satan with sickness and disease.

YOU CAN’T HAVE SICKNESS, HE TOOK IT

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8:17 (KJV)

Our objective today is to open your eyes to see that this issue of sickness is a pseudo because you cannot have what was taken away. Assuming your father met you returning from the airport with one heavy luggage on your head and he took it from you and slide it into the car boot and drove off. Then the author met you some days later and you are complaining to him that this luggage is too heavy but he cannot see any luggage on your head. Yes you had the luggage before but it has been carried away by your father. It would look absurd still having the same luggage. Often times, sickness is the devil’s play on our emotions. It is not real and can never be real but the objective reality is that Yahushua HaMashiach of Nazareth took your sickness and bore your infirmities almost 2000 years ago and you cannot have it today. You need to meditate on this Word until it becomes an objective reality in your spirit. How can you have what was taken away? It is completely absurd.

YOU SHOULD RESIST SICKNESS

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
I Peter 5:9 (KJV)

The devil is a very stubborn creature. He is never tired of trying even though he knows that he is a defeated foe. But the truth is so many people don’t even know that the devil is a defeated foe. He capitalizes on their ignorance to lord it over them in almost all areas of life. When you see how people even in the Church talk about the devil, witches, wizards with such holy splendour, you will understand why they are still under his operation and oppression. Please understand that Satan has no more power to hurt and harm you. The power that the devil wields today is the force of ignorance. With you is the power that the devil cannot attempt resident inside you – the power of the Holy Spirit. You have at least four weapons that Yahweh has given you with which you can dominate the devil anytime any day. You are called to resist the devil. Satan is prowling, so he can come across you in his wanderings as a mad dog. But one shout of “eeeeeeeeehhh” checks him back to hell. That is the problem of the nepios, he has not trained himself to speak, so he is helpless before the wickedness of this mad devil.

First weapon is the greater one that lives in you. I John 4:4 says, ‘Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.’ The Holy Spirit is that greater one that is in you. Acts 1:8 says, ‘But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:’ so what came upon you at the baptism of the Holy Spirit is Power (dunamis). You are powerful beloved. You are more powerful than a dynamite. The presence and power of the Holy Spirit inside of you is able to give life to your mortal body. So whenever you sense anything in your body, engage the Holy Spirit to quicken your mortal body (see Romans 8:11). Secondly, you have the weapon of the name of Yahushua. You have the power of attorney to use the NAME OF YAHUSHUA. In Mark 16:17-18, the Lord Yahushua gave you the power of attorney to use His Name, ‘And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.’ If you are defeated, it is just your fault because you are too loaded to be dared by Satan.
