    HOW TO RECOGNIZE THIS WISDOM (4): FULL OF MERCY

    But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy …
    James 3:17 (KJV)

    Mercy is defined as that aspect of Yahweh’s character in which He does not give people what they deserve. Mercy is a disposition to be kind and forgiving. It is the feeling that motivates compassion. It is the force that alleviates distress and shows great kindness towards the distressed. When you are full of mercy, you pity those who are afflicted and those who afflict and offend you. When you are full of mercy, your default response to those who hurt you is pity not vengeance. This means that vengeful, get-even spirit is not divine Wisdom but earthly, sensual and devilish wisdom. When you are full of mercy, you are patient with people’s quirks. There are just people that behave odd and oppose everything. When you are full of mercy, you exercise a lot of patience with people’s quirks. What person in your life has irritating quirks? How can you practice patience with that person today and this week? Colossians 3:12 admonishes to ‘Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;’ The bowel is the inner most being of a person which is often considered by Hebrews as the seat of the tenderer affections, especially kindness, benevolence, and compassion. This is telling us that our mercy should flow from our innermost being and not a fake camouflage. That when you see someone in trouble, something should well up from your depth to show mercy to the person.

    Full of mercy means helping anyone around you who is hurting. Our world is full of people that are broken, battered and hurting. You don’t go about gossiping and killing them the more, instead you show them mercy by extending a helping hand. When you see someone drowning, do you help rescue or contribute to the person’s sinking? See who around you is obviously hurting—and then look for a way you can help this week. If you can’t find anybody, then you’re not paying attention. Look closer! Who in your life needs a second chance? How can you show that person mercy and compassion today and this week? Full of mercy means giving people a second chance. Yes they have blown it before, mercy says, try again. Quit reminding them of how they failed before, let mercy erase their past while giving them a clean slate to win. Full of mercy means doing good to those who are hurting. Whether it is sickness, or marital distress, or career challenges, full of mercy, lains over to do good and offer help. Maybe you’re suffering from an old wound that you have not been able to let go of. Choose to forgive and then turn it around for good. Who is that person in your life? Will you make a phone call or a visit this week?

    Full of mercy means being kind to those who offend you. Friend hear this, offence is a must (see Matthew 18:7). If you are going to achieve any worthwhile goal in your life, you are going to be offended in people and people are going to offend you, and some deliberately. Make up your mind for advance forgiveness for anyone that finally offends you. Look with pity on every offender. Moreover, we offend God everyday, so we have no choice but to be kind just as we have been shown kindness by the Father. How can you be intentional in showing kindness to those who offended you today and this week? Full of mercy means building bridges of love to the unpopular. What person first comes to mind when you think of an outcast? Who spends their lunch breaks eating alone or doesn’t seem to have friends at soccer games? What specific thing will you do this week to bridge the gap between you and that person with love? Go ahead and show mercy today and always, that is Divine Wisdom in operation.

    REMEMBER: The Wisdom from above is full of mercy.

    PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word to me today. I ask for grace to be full of mercy in my relationship with the people of this world in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: As you function in mercy, you shall obtain mercy from the Lord in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    HOW TO GET WISDOM (4): MEEKNESS

    Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
    James 1:21 (BBE)

    We have said that the Word is your access to the fear of the Word and Wisdom. However, the Word is useless without meekness. The Holy Spirit only teaches the meek. You can only receive the Word with meekness and until you receive the Word, you are out of the path of the fear of the Word and consequently Wisdom. Psalms 34:9 says, “The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.” Your proximity to Wisdom is a function of the learning at the feet of the Master because He has been made unto us Wisdom and your ability to receive His instruction is a function of meekness. That means meekness is your access to Wisdom because with it you are able to receive the instructions that make you function in Wisdom. This should be very simple for anyone to understand. According to Wikipedia, “Meekness is the attribute of human nature and behaviour that has been defined as an amalgam of righteousness, inner humility and patience.” At new birth, this fruit of the Spirit was imparted to your human spirit. So, you are not disadvantaged. You cannot say, “Meekness is not my thing. I just don’t have it.” No! It is a fruit of the Spirit and like other fruits of the Spirit, they are developed, nurtured and consciously manifested for you to reap their benefits.

    There is good in the earth. You don’t need to exist in struggles and frustration. Psalms 37:11 says, “But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” It takes meekness to enter into your inheritance in the earth. See that scriptures says that it takes meekness to delight yourself in the abundance of peace. Is it not reality today that the cause of unrest in almost all realms of existence is pride? Do you know that most wars that claim so many lives and properties is a function of the pride of man? Do you know that most families today in the divorce court or already divorced is just pure pride and nothing else? You are out of the path of abundance of peace without meekness. The devil may not be your problem as much as pride and haughtiness is. Meekness is not weakness. The world may misunderstand your meekness for weakness but really meekness is strength under control.

    To confirm that meekness is an access to this Wisdom from above, James 3:13 says, ‘Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.’ This is saying that meekness belongs to this Wisdom. Without meekness, you cannot access this Wisdom. But as you humble yourself before the Master to learn of Him, I see this Wisdom flowing from your life. Shalom!

    REMEMBER: Meekness is what registers you in the school of Wisdom.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask for grace to function in meekness. Let every trace of pride die now in my life in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that pride shall not be your down fall. Receive grace to function in meekness in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    HOW THE WORD BUILDS YOU UP (3): IMPARTS THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL

    For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
    Colossians 1:9 [KJV]

    The Knowledge of Yahweh’s Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding is the goldmine that when you hit it, your life and world turns around 360 degrees instantly. Coming to the knowledge of His Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding is so crucial that you should be praying like Apostle Paul both for yourself and especially for your family members to come to this dimension in the Word. The Knowledge of His Will in all Wisdom and spiritual understanding means coming to know the will of Yahweh and being filled with the spiritual understanding to process it as it relates to you and receiving the Wisdom to apply it to your life in order to come into the reality of what it is saying. Firstly is knowing the Will of Yahweh and the Will of Yahweh is what is in the Word, the Bible. The Bible is the Will of Yahweh for you the believer. The Will defines your inheritance and allotments; that is exactly what the Word does, showing you what belongs to you in HaMashiach and the path to take to take delivery of it. Knowing the Will of Yahweh is critical because, you can only act according to knowledge (see 2 Peter 1:3). But then, knowledge alone is not enough.

    The second part, is spiritual understanding. Spiritual understanding implies coming to the grasp of how the knowledge you have just acquired relates to you. It is apprehending what the Lord is saying to you from the knowledge of the Word that you have and it is very critical. You must understand how the knowledge of the Word relates to you and that will impart divine direction. It is called spiritual understanding because it is the illumination of your spirit by the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit brings a knowing into your spirit-man, which becomes the answer to a bogging question or a current situation. This understanding is not a function of mental perspiration. It is a spiritual revelation of the Word.

    The third part is wisdom. Having understood how the Word relates to you, Wisdom comes into operation to show you practical steps to take to have what the Word is talking about. Wisdom shows you how to practically apply that Word in your day to day life to receive what the Word talks about. Relating with the Word exposes you to knowledge, understanding and Wisdom and that combination is a winning team any day. So, the Word builds you up by filling you with the knowledge of His Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding which brings you divine direction upon which when acted on results in victory and outstanding success. The truth is that you can have knowledge, understand how it relates to you but without taking adequate practical steps you will still remain in the same position that you are. Selah!

    REMEMBER: The Word fills you with the knowledge of His Will.

    PRAYER: Dear Father, Thank You for Your Word to me today. I ask that you open my spiritual understanding to be lighted by Your Word today in Yahushua’s Name Amen!

    RECEIVE YOUR HEALING (4): LAMBANO IT BY FAITH

    Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
    Matthew 9:29 (KJV)

    The power of Yahweh is always constant, the variable is our faith. In many instances of the people that Yahushua HaMashiach healed, he alluded that it was their faith that procured the healing for them. Our opening verse is one of those. Two blind men followed Yahushua one time. I sincerely didn’t know how they did, maybe some folks helped them by leading them by the hands. They were crying “Thou Son of David, have mercy on us”. That was intensive prayer. Crying shows their desperation for a change of situation. Where there is faith, prayer is usually intensive. All these praying and sleeping is just to show that it is not yet serious; when it is serious and you need a change, you would cry out like these blind men. But crying as good as it is, is not enough to secure you your testimony. Yahushua asked them, ‘Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.’ (Matthew 9:28). ‘29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.’(Matthew 9:29-30). Beloved, it is always according to your faith. With your charged faith in the Word of Yahweh, you can secure your healing on your own on your altar of prayer. It is all about your faith.

    They brought to Yahushua a man with paralysis in Mark 2:3-12. Yahushua saw their faith. Faith is an objective force. It can be seen. When some people come to the author and say “pastor pray for me”, most times, the author can see if they have faith because faith can be seen. In Mark 2:5, Yahushua saw the faith of these men that brought the man with paralysis through the roof and forgave and healed him. Beloved, you can take your healing by faith and it is only lack of faith that can deny you of anything from Yahweh. There is a Greek word ‘lambano’ which means to take and make it yours. In Christ, healing is yours and is available however, it is your faith that takes it and makes it yours. You are going to stretch forth and take your healing (lambano) and make it yours. If you don’t do it, no one could. That is why the issue of faith is so critical to anything you want to receive (lambano) from Yahweh. Adonai is not giving us things as it were because He had already given us all things that pertain to life and godliness and healing was included in that package (see II Peter 1:3). Whatever you don’t have now is what your faith has not lambano for you.

    Matthew 8:3 showed us for all times that the case of the will of Yahweh to heal was eternally settled. It is always the will of Yahweh to heal you, as long as your faith can stretch and take it.

    REMEMBER: It is always according to your faith.

    CONFESSION: Healing is my inheritance in HaMashiach my Life and I reach out today and lay of it of by faith. From now, no more room for sickness in this body. Glory!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: The last sickness you saw in your body shall be the last forever in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    SICK? CHECK IF YOU ARE IN LOVE

    Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
    Jude 1:21 (KJV)

    The love of Yahweh is a protective shield over your life and destiny, hence the admonition to keep yourself in the love of Yahweh. Without the love of Yahweh, you are vulnerable to the attacks of Satan. So whenever you are attacked by sickness, it is wisdom to check if you are walking in love towards Yahweh and the brethren. Walking in love towards Yahweh implies that you are keeping his commandments. I John 5:3 says, ‘For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.’ If you are willfully living in sin, then you don’t love Yahweh and not walking in love will expose you to Satanic attacks with sickness and diseases.

    Walking in love towards people especially the brethren implies that you are open to helping when you see real needs. James 2:15-17 says, ‘15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.’ I John 4:20-21 says, ‘20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.’ I John 3:17-18 says, ‘17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.’ We are showing you all these scriptures not just quoting them so that you can witness that this is not human imagination but the truth of the Word of Yahweh. The authenticity of your love is confirmed in your reaching out to your brethren in needs with the little that Yahweh has blessed you with. When such is not the case with you, you are placing yourself in that precarious position where you can be attacked by Satan with sickness and disease for not walking in love.

    When Apostle Paul was speaking to the Corinthians about giving for the welfare of the brethren, he said it was “and to prove the sincerity of your love.” (see II Corinthians 8:8). So opening your bowels of compassion to the needs of others is what proves the sincerity of your love. Love is an action word, “For God so loved the world, that he gave”, so if your love lacks action, it is not sincere. Love that lacks proofs is fake and not walking in love opens the doors to sickness and diseases. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Not walking in love removes Yahweh’s shield all around you.

    CONFESSION: I am born of love because Yahweh is love. I am walking by the Word diligently obeying Yahweh’s commandments and proving the sincerity of my love by meeting the needs of the brethren in real-time. Halleluyah!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree your love for the Lord and the brethren comes alive now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    HEAR WHAT THE LORD IS SAYING FOR APRIL 2021

    The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
    John 3:8 [KJV]

    Happy New Month Beloved! Welcome to the fourth month of the year of HaMashiach My Life 2021. We believe you had the best of the time in the Lord’s presence using the #WordForTodayDevotional daily. The month of March was an explosive month of the Word. Everything in existence began with the Word one day and their destiny is also already Word-determined. You are a product of the Word (see I Peter 1:23). Your future and destiny is already predestinated (see Romans 8:28-29) and all by the Word. So, it takes staying in the Word to know where you are going in your life and how to get there. The Word is your compass and your manufacturer’s manual. Without the Word and actively daily partnering with the Word and the Holy Spirit, you would miss your way and most probably end up in the lake of fire. That shall not be your testimony! We saw that when it comes to the Word, it takes a Word Schedule and discipline to stay in the Word. The devil knows that the Word is your everything, therefore, he does and will do anything to distract you from the Word. It takes running a Word Schedule and staying doggedly disciplined to that schedule to maintain your spiritual life from day to day. We believe God that you are already baptised with the grace to stay in the Word daily with Word rigorous schedule. Mostly importantly, it takes the building up that the Word accomplishes in you for you to mature to lambano your inheritance. You have an inheritance in HaMashiach but until you are built up, you cannot take it. But as you stay in the Word, the Wonders of your inheritance shall be manifest for all to see. You shall continue to enjoy the Mighty and Marvellous Moves of Yahweh in your life, family, finance, business/career in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    Now, hear what the Lord Yahushua is saying to the Royal Life family in the month of April 2021. The life of the believer is supernatural in all ramifications. Your coming into existence as a new creation is supernatural because you came by the Word of Yahweh. Your operation on earth as a believer is also designed to be supernatural because John 3:8 says ‘The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.’ The supernatural means outside or above the natural. The operation of the Holy Spirit is what brings us into the dimension of the supernatural. The Holy Spirit came into the life of the believer to enable him/her live a supernatural life as described in John chapter three verse eight. From the point that you heard the Word and opened up to the Lord Yahushua, the Holy Spirit was in operation in your life. It is only by the operation of the Holy Spirit as the Word is preached that you can come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Yahushua. Without the Holy Spirit, you cannot believe. So at salvation, the Holy Spirit takes up residence in your spirit-man. It is known as the Spirit within. So from the first day that you said yes to the gospel, your supernatural status was confirmed. You become someone that your world should not be able to describe or sum up in one word. You became like a wind producing effects everywhere you go.

    Our prophetic focus for the Month of April 2021 therefore, is “I AM A WONDER BY THE SPIRIT IN HAMASHIACH MY LIFE” (John 3:8). April 2021 shall be our month of swimming in the supernatural by the Holy Spirit.. This month we are going to look at how we became wonders in the first place. We are going to explore what life in the supernatural entails. If we are living in the supernatural, then the natural forces are not your problem. The economy is not your problem. Your family lineage or ancestry is not your problem. Your background is not your problem. Your spouse is not your problem. You will even discover that the devil and his agents are not your problem. Your problem is your ignorance of your wonder status that new birth confers on you. Your problem is your unwillingness to take your place in the plan of Yahweh for you. Your problem is still allowing sin to remain in your life. The day you rise up and say, “enough is enough”, then you would discover that you have been the worst enemy of your life and destiny ever since. And this month is that month that you are going to say, “enough is enough”. As your eyes is opened to see your status and position in the supernatural, you shall rise to assume that status in the name of the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    This month of April, the Lord will be doing things that are above nature, beyond nature and against nature and by all means you shall emerge a wonder.

    REMEMBER: I Am A Wonder By The Spirit In Hamashiach My Life.

    THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of life, sound mind and body, of seeing a brand new month. Thank You for sending Yahushua HaMashiach to pay the price for my sins and for the privilege of your presence in my life by the Holy Spirit. Thank You for all you did for us in the month of March. Thank You for your Word which builds me up and delivers my inheritance among those that are sanctified. Thank You for the grace to remain disciplined in your Word. Thank You for what you are set to do in me and for me this new month. To You alone be all the glory in the precious name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that this month of April shall not see your end but you shall see its end. In this month of April, you shall see your life evolving in the supernatural dimension. I decree no evil news shall be heard in your life, family and job/business. This month, the heavens open over you and your family for a turnaround your world cannot deny. This month, every agenda of evil against you is shattered now. You shall only walk in success, increase, favour, supernatural possibilities and triumphs on every side you turn. No man shall be able to stand against you and your progress all the days of this month. Testimonies shall be your daily bread this month and celebration unending shall be in your house. Receive a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to re-enact your visibility in the supernatural this month in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen.

    HOW TO ENCOUNTER THE WORD (3): THE MYSTERY OF A QUIET TIME

    The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
    II Corinthians 13:14 (KJV)

    Whenever I think of the term “Quiet Time” the Greek word “koinonia” comes to mind. Koinonia is the Greek word translated communion in our opening text. Literally koinonia means participation. Personally or socially, koinonia means intercourse, that is the highest level of communication between two people. Quiet Time is a time of communion or intercourse with the Holy Spirit, the Word and the Father all in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach. Your calling in HaMashiach, beloved, is a calling into the koinonia of the God-kind. I Corinthians 1:9 says, ‘God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.’ The quiet-time is a specific time in which we seek the face of the Lord, to know his friendship personally and to worship and understand him better. Just like the term implies, Quiet-time is a time and place of quietness, where you can maintain some level of tranquillity to concentrate on the Presence of the Lord and on the communion of this God-kind. Quiet time, also called heart-to-heart time, or one-on-one time with the Father, is a regular individual session of Christian spiritual activities, such as prayer, private meditation, contemplation, worship, or study of the Bible. Quiet-time is the time of you coming to yourself both spirit, soul and body and consciously reaching out for the Person, Presence and Word of the Lord. That is the mystery of recovery of destiny as it happened to the man we have come to know as the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Luke 15:17 says, “And when he came to himself, he said,” that is his destiny could not be recovered until he sat down in probably a quiet-time session.

    There is nothing you cannot find solution to in a quiet-time with the Lord. The most precious moment of the day is that time you sit before the Lord in absolute quietness to read, study, meditate, worship or just maintaining some quietness. It deepens your relationship with the Lord like nothing else can. Maintaining this time daily will bring a revolution to your relationship with the Lord. Quiet-time is a great way to encounter the Word and have the Word make lasting impressions in your spirit-man.

    Just like all the other ways to encounter the Word, Quiet-time must be a deliberate exercise. It is a time you must schedule and keep with the Lord. King David scheduled his own quiet-time at the middle of the night. Psalms 119:62 says, ‘At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.’ Do you wonder how King David managed to emerge a king, a priest, a prophet, a psalmist, a singer, a songwriter, an instrumentalist, an inventor of musical instruments, etc.? He was a product of a solid quiet-time with the Lord. Schedule your quiet-time right away and make a covenant with the Lord to keep it. Shalom!

    REMEMBER: Quiet-time is a specific time of quietness for personal intercourse with the Lord.

    CONFESSION: I love you Lord and I cherish our time together. There is nothing that can substitute my time with you as you teach me Your Word and lead me in the path I should go. Thank You Lord!

    HOW TO ENCOUNTER THE WORD (2): MEDITATION

    Meditate upon these things? give thyself wholly to them? that thy profiting may appear to all.
    I Timothy 4:15 (KJV)

    To meditate means to mutter; to speak to yourself in a low tone over a subject for over a period of time. Reading the Word is likened to eating food. The Word is spiritual food for the spirit-man. But what you eat doesn’t profit your body until it is digested and assimilated. Meditation is spiritual digestion and assimilation of the Word into your spirit-man. Joshua 1:8 says, ‘This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.’ Reading the Word is putting it into your mouth but beloved, don’t stop there, go further to speak that Word to yourself. To meditate actually means to murmur. Murmuring is a negative word because it is dwelling on the things that are not working in your life. But the process of murmuring is the same with meditation, the only difference is on what you are dwelling on in the process. When you are dwelling on the Word, murmuring it to yourself, it is called scriptural meditation. Meditation is not a gift, it is the result of the overflow of the Word in your spirit-man. Most times, meditation is involuntary. Other times, you must be intentional on what you are meditating upon. But I want you to see that when you flood your mind intensely with the Word, meditation becomes involuntary. At all times, your mind is on the Word. This is the level and dimension I desire you come into.

    Do you notice that Joshua 1:8 says that we should mediate on the Word day and night? The day is a 12 hour period and the night is a 12 hour period. What does that tell you? Meditation is a 24 hours job. That is why I said that you must come to that point of meditating on the Word involuntarily. You must come to that point that even when you are not actively dwelling on the Word, your mind is on it by the virtue of the overflow and flooding of the Word day in and out. That is the only way to comply with Joshua 1:8 and until you comply with that scripture you cannot get what it promised – for then you shall make your way prosperous and then you shall have good success. When we were growing up in the faith, we heard that for you to maintain spiritual health, you must be consuming at least three chapters of the scriptures daily. That looked big then. But can you imagine consuming about 20 to 30 chapters daily and some times up to 50? Beloved, that is exactly our reality now.

    Can you imagine channelling the time you use on social media on reading the Word? Can you imagine cutting off unnecessary visitation to make more time to read the Word? Can you take skipping one or two meals just to concentrate on the Word? Beloved, wake up and take responsibility. There is no free lunch even in free town. Life is gabbage in, gabbage out. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Meditation is murmuring the Word to yourself.

    CONFESSION: There is something in the Word for me and I engage my mind to dig it out on daily basis as I meditate on the Word. The juice of the Word is pressed out for the nourishment of my spirit-man. I am grateful Lord!

    HOW TO ENCOUNTER THE WORD (1): READING AND LISTENING TO THE WORD

    Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
    II Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

    Beginning from today, we are going to examine how we can encounter the Word. With all we have seen the Word can do for us, unless we connect with the Word, we cannot enjoy the benefits. So how can we experience the Word and have the Word impart and metamorphose us? As we begin to unfold how we can do this, believe Yahweh to be a doer and not a hearer only. Decide to do and plan to do. Set Word objectives of what you must be covering in the light of what we are going to be showing you in a couple of days to come. It is He that does the Word that is blessed in his life (see James 1:22-25). The first way we encounter the Word is to hear it. Romans 10:17 says, ‘So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ Hearing the Word is by reading and listening. When you read, you are engaging your eyes and ears at the same time. This is important because what you see, makes impressions on your mind. The ear and the eyes are major channels into your mind and consequently your spirit-man. Consider this instruction from the Lord through Moses in Deuteronomy 11:19, ‘And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.’ This is saying let the ear channel of your children be saturated with the Word practically all the time.

    What reading does for you is that it floods your eyes and ears with the Word. What your eyes sees and your ears hears is what remains on your mind and that can be effortless. The work you need to do is to expose something to your eyes and ears, the other reaction of it remaining on your mind is almost involuntary. Even when you don’t plan to think about it, the mind just goes there because it is what it sees and hears that it cogitates upon. Without reading and listening to the Word being read out like audio Bible as we have them in this age, you are cutting off yourself from having the Word make impression of the Spirit on your spirit-man. There is Igbo adage that says “an ocean does not drown a person that it did not see his/her legs”. The Word is powerless in your life unless it comes into contact with your mind and spirit-man and that for a long while.

    Beloved, Satan knows this fact, therefore, he makes sure that you don’t make out time to read and listen to the Word. Now, you have to seat down and make a Word reading schedule. If you don’t do it, then it would not be done. You must set your Word reading goals for each day and then you can measure your progress. Why is setting Word targets important? Just the way you cannot measure performance against nothing. There must be a budgeting before you can measure performance or the actual against the budgeted. Same applies in your Word life. If you don’t have a target of what you must cover each day, you are not going to have anything to measure your performance against. Selah!

    REMEMBER: Set daily Word reading targets and ensure you are not failing.

    CONFESSION: The Word is the food of my spirit and on daily basis, I feed my spirit-man so fat deliberately. I do not take chances on taking care of my spirit-man. I am intentional about my spiritual health. Thank You Lord!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: Every carelessness about your spiritual health is over from today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN SOUL-WINNING (5): A FIGHTING SPIRIT

    No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
    Mark 3:27 (KJV)

    A fighting spirit is a spiritual disposition of not taking a “NO!” for an answer. It is developing a victor’s mentality. It is coming to a point of only having triumphs or nothing. Instead of not winning, let the fight continue – that is a fighting spirit. What we are saying today is that it takes a fighting spirit to be successful in the soul-winning business. This is so because our text associates the unsaved as the captives of Satan, the strong man. To let go his captives, you must put up a fight that will result in binding him. II Corinthians 4:3-4 says, ‘3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of HaMashiach, who is the image of Yahweh, should shine unto them.’ The god of this world being referred to is Satan. He is responsible and behind every unbeliever’s blindness to the light of the glorious gospel. For you to succeed in letting the unsaved to see the light of the gospel you must take care of the strong man Satan. This is done in intense intercessions.

    A fighting spirit is the answer to the attack of discouragement. In the harvest field, you will come across things and behaviours that will try to put you off and discourage you. It is at that point that a fighting spirit comes to your rescue because it would not accept a no. Until victory is achieved, a fighting spirit fights on. It knows no discouragement. Apostle Paul is a very good example of a fighting spirit. They stone him, beat him and in some cases he was left as dead but as soon as strength comes into him, he gets up and off to the next town to preach. He laid necessity upon himself for the gospel. He is either preaching, following-up or praying for souls. Never tiring, never depressed! The work of the gospel is a task that must by all means be executed even if it means to lay down his life, Apostle Paul was willing. At a point he said that he was not just willing to be bound in Jerusalem but to die for the name of the Lord Yahushua (Acts 21:13). That is a fighting spirit, beloved.

    How do you come about a fighting spirit? It comes by a baptism of fire of the Holy Spirit. There is a baptism of fire beloved. It is an experience where the Holy Spirit sets your spirit, soul and body on fire of enthusiasm for the gospel. That fire came upon Jeremiah that even when he does not want to speak the word, it begins to burn in his bones that he cannot be at peace until he speaks out the word (Jeremiah 20:9). When that fire lands upon you, it intoxicates your spirit making you restless until you are running with the gospel. That fire imparts on you a fighting spirit. Even in your personal affairs, you are guaranteed to win when the fighting spirit is in operation in your life. No circumstance overwhelms you. You are so dogged until you weary every devil out of your affairs. Beyond excelling in the gospel, a fighting spirit helps you win at every turn of life. Go for it.

    REMEMBER: A fighting spirit is the answer to all assaults of the devil in the harvest field and in your personal life.

    CONFESSION: I triumph in every place by the power of the Holy Spirit. No situation overwhelms me because greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. Hallelujah!!!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree the release of a fighting spirit in your life today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
