FAITH: A SCRIPTURAL DEFINITION (2)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true.
Hebrews 11:1 [BBE]

Continuing from yesterday in trying to define what faith is, we shall look at faith to the believer now. So, what is faith? Secondly, faith is believing the Bible as the Word of Yahweh and responding in obedience thereby. Faith is being convinced about the provisions of scripture and acting out of that conviction thereby provoking divine manifestation. Faith is coming to the point that your reality is the Word and behaving it out, thereby committing the integrity of Yahweh to perform His Word. In Luke 17:12-19 we saw the story of ten lepers who came to Yahushua and pleaded that He should have mercy on them. In response, the Lord Yahushua said to them, “Go shew yourselves unto the priests” (see Luke 17:14). They were still leprous as He spoke to them. No change in their situation at all. Faith is believing the Bible and acting on it. That was exactly what these men did. They believed that for whatever reason that Yahushua told them to go and show themselves to the priests means that they were healed. They started off without any sign of being healed yet. Beloved, faith is you believing the Word and acting on it. Until you act on the Word, you can never see the power of Yahweh displayed on your behalf. The Bible says that as they went in obedience to show themselves to the priests, they were cleansed. Halleluyah! That is faith. Obeying the Word because you believe it. It is coming to that place that your reasoning dies at the instance of the Word. It is not a mystery at all. Just simply believing and acting to show that you believe, then the heavens open over you to show that the Word is infallible. Some of us would like to be healed first before going to show ourselves to the priest. Isn’t it the logical thing to do? But that is not faith way. Faith says, obey the Word first, before you can see the hand of Yahweh stretched out in your direction. If you are waiting to see that power move before you act, you would remain in that situation forever because without faith, it is impossible to move the hand of Yahweh.

FAITH: A SCRIPTURAL DEFINITION (1)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
HEBREWS 11:1 [KJV]

There is a world where all things are possible. There is a place where you can have all your needs met according to His riches in glory. Faith is that spiritual force which opens humanity to a world of unlimited possibilities. Faith is a world of no limits; if you can believe, all things are possible. Faith is living in a spiritual world of no limits. Faith is the most potent force in the whole universe; it’s the key to everything in the kingdom. Faith is the connection to the power source of Yahweh. We all agree that with Yahweh all things are possible (see Matthew 19:16; Mark 10:27). If there is any impossibility, it is only in the human realm because with Yahweh all things are possible. So, that power that makes all things possible is connectable only with faith. With faith, you stand in the realm of all possibilities. If faith is this powerful, what exactly is faith. If we can define it, we can find it and take delivery of it.

PROPHETIC FOCUS FOR MARCH 2023

And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Welcome to the month of March 2023, the end of the first quarter of the year of our Dependable Yahweh. This first quarter is the building stages of the year. What you do this first quarter to a great extent will determine what results you will command the whole year. That is why we started this year with being empowered at the altar of fasting and prayer. It takes power to function. Until you function, you cannot see the performance of Yahweh in your life. However, we function from a foundation of love. Psalms 11:3 says, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The foundation of functioning in order to see the manifestation of Yahweh is love and that is what we just explored in the month of February 2023. I Corinthians 13:1-3 shows us that you can operate the best revered gift of the Spirit and it would still not secure you change of story. Loving Yahweh and proving it is what provokes divine manifestation for you. It all starts from responding to the love of the Father who is the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach in salvation and then coming to know Him by His Word. It is knowing Him that ignites love for Him in your spirit. When you love Him, you are over in life and destiny. That love proves itself in the four dimensions we discussed in our Royal Banquet Services in February. Please listen to them on our blog princechimaobim.home.blog/royal-life-church-intl-messages/. I am challenging you to let your relationship with the Lord Yahushua be powered by love. I Corinthians 2:9 shows us that the dimension that Yahweh has in store for those that love Him hasn’t even entered into the imagination of people. This foundation is very crucial for what the Lord is saying this new month.

THANKFUL FOR FEBRUARY 2023

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Here at #WordForTodayDevotional, we devote the last day of every month as our thanksgiving day where we celebrate the grace of Yahweh that has seen us through the month. We do not take for granted the mercies of the Lord from the first of the month to today the last day. It has been a torrent of the word on Love and we owe the Lord thanks. We have returned today to thank Him for the success of the month of FEBRUARY 2023. In case, you cannot see anything to thank Yahweh for – I know such a person will not be reading this now; let me remind you that not all that saw 1st of FEBRUARY 2023 are alive today to see the 28th of FEBRUARY 2023. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed (see Lamentations 3:22). We owe Him thanks today. Also, our attitude of thanksgiving determines, what the next month will be for us. Let us explore more on the benefits of thanksgiving.

THE POWER OF YAHWEH’S LOVE (7): THE ANOINTING

“Howbeit the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: … and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:”

1 Chronicles 28:4, KJV

Yahweh’s love is what provokes the anointing upon a life. David said ”and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:” His love for me separated me for the anointing says David. What is the anointing and what does it hold for my life and destiny? Literally, the anointing refers to the anointing oil. The anointing oil is a divinely inspired formulation. Exodus 30:22-30 let’s us into the formulation ingredients and uses. This holy anointing oil is used to commission people into divine service as priests and kings. No one will ever emerge a priest or a king in Israel upon whose head the holy anointing oil has not been poured. This is very significant because the believer has a king priest destiny in HaMashiach as I Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” The anointing is your coronation into your destiny office as a king priest. That means without the anointing destiny cannot start let alone being fulfilled.

THE POWER OF YAHWEH’S LOVE (6): HIS PRESENCE

And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Exodus 33:14 (KJV)

Yahweh’s love is the foundation of everything he does. His love releases His grace and when you find grace in His sight, you begin to enjoy His presence. Yahweh’s presence is that climate that comes upon your spirit-being when you are in contact with Yahweh. It can overwhelm your body causing you to fall down and be as one dead. It is important to note that the presence of Yahweh is everywhere, that is what we call omnipresence. But the presence we are talking about today is the manifest presence of Yahweh. It is that presence that is tangible, palpable and fire-full. In the beginning of human history, Yahweh enjoyed a close presence with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (see Genesis 3:8). After their sin, they became separated from this presence. Throughout the Old Testament period, we find various ways in which Yahweh revealed His presence in special ways. These included speaking, as He did with Noah; in physical form, as Genesis 17—18 describes; and in visible form, as He did with the Israelites in the forty years in the wilderness.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

The Love of Yahweh is Yahushua HaMashiach. Titus 3:4 says, “But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,” The love of Yahweh our Saviour is Yahushua HaMashiach. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Yahushua is the manifestation and expression of Yahweh’s love. What did Yahushua come to do? Matthew 1:21 says, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” What I am trying to show you is that Yahushua came to save us from sin not from Satan because the power of Satan over man is sin. Until there was sin, Adam was in complete dominion over all creatures, Satan included. He had dominion over the earth. Satan doesn’t even have an inch of opportunity on earth. The power the devil has today is given to him by sin. So, your battle per se is not against Satan but against sin. Once you have triumphed over sin and walking in dominion over sin, you are over Satan. This is in addition to the authority that Yahushua gave us expressly against Satan and his cohorts. Yahweh’s love has given you victory and dominion over sin, thereby knocking out the hold of Satan completely in your life. You need to know this. The power Satan has against you is sin. But the believer has been redeemed and translated into the kingdom of Yahweh where he/she now welds authority over and against Satan.

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.Isaiah 45:3 (KJV)

Mark 13:37 says, “And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” There is a supernatural supplies agenda that your heavenly Father provided for you in His love. Existing in empty-handedness is an error. Financial quagmire is not for you. There is an abundance provision that has your name tagged on it. Our opening text was addressed to a Cyrus. What Yahweh is saying to Cyrus, He is also saying to Pastor Prince and to you. There are treasures of darkness where natural human eyes cannot access. There are riches in secret places stored away from the wicked and unreasonable men for you. It doesn’t matter your work or profession, lack and want is never in the deal for you. Supernatural supplies is Yahweh’s agenda for you. Supernatural supplies is supplies that comes from the hand of Yahweh through His own orchestration that is beyond human calculation. Your work is not your source of supplies. Your work is a channel but the source remains your heavenly Father and there is no dull moment in His supply system. I want you to blast poverty mentality away from your life from today. There is nothing He cannot give you in the process of time when you show yourself to be ready and mature enough for it.

Yahweh’s love has placed you at the best and most strategic place where no harm, absolutely none can come through to you. Before something can hurt you, it must have defeated the Father Yahweh, defeated the Holy Spirit, defiled the Almighty name of Yahushua before it can reach you. You are hid in Yahweh and by His love have become the apple of His eye. That is why we say that you are too defended to be defeated. You are too protected to be perforated and punctured by the enemy. You should be walking with your head held high at all times. If you are in that aircraft, it is not permitted to drop. If you are on the road, your eyes is not permitted to see accident let alone being a victim. You cannot be a victim of Satan’s agenda and conspiracy, all because you are the son/daughter of His love.

“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”

Beloved, after this month in this #WordForTodayDevotional, you will never have any reason to hold down your head any more in life. The love of the Father has procured His mercy upon you. By that love, you have become the object of His mercy. This is mind-blowing to say the least. Romans 9:22-23 says, “23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?” The Father’s love has made us the vessels of mercy. That means that there is nothing that runs in your generation that should be part of your life. There is no wrath of the enemy or even the curse of Yahweh (if any) on your lineage that should be part of your experience today. This is because you are now the vessel of His mercy. His love has brought us His mercy.
