    YOU ARE THE WATCHMAN

    Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
    Ezekiel 3:17 [KJV]

    A watchman is a guard who keeps watch. As a believer; one who has received the kingdom in his heart, you are a watchman over the people in your world. God is holding you accountable as a son; one who is fully developed to take authority and responsibility over your world. God is saying to you today, “Son/daughter of man, I have made you a watchman unto your world”. A watchman is an intercessor who stands before God on behalf of the people and before the people on behalf of God. You are a watchman and God expects you to inform everyone in your world that doomsday is at hand. The day that God will judge the world by Christ is at hand (see Acts 17:31). But do people in your world know this? Do they know that the age is closing up? Do they know that it doesn’t matter how long or short you live on earth, one day you will open your eyes in the zones where time is no more? How can they know it if you refuse to tell them? They can not hear except their watchman takes responsibility to fulfill his/her ministry of warning them to escape the imminent danger. Beloved, you are a watchman God has placed in your sphere of contacts to warn them. Christianity is not a religion. It is a call to escape the impending doom.

    Have you thought about it that God didn’t come in Christ to establish a religion? You cannot be talking about religion when lives are at stake. God knew that the eternal destiny of man was at stake. Igbo adage says “the person whose house is on fire, does not pursue rats”. God is in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. God knows what is at stake – the soul of man perishing in hell. He did something about it. He gave Jesus Christ to be the propitiation for our sins. Now the onus is on you to tell those who haven’t heard. Tell those who are in the valley of decision. Let them decide to accept or reject the offer of salvation. You are a watchman to warn all in your sphere of contacts. Jesus says as the Father has sent Him so He has sent us (see John 20:21). Will you break the chain? Somebody probably told you and got you saved. Someone did to you what God is asking you to do to someone else.

    There is a consequence for failure. Hear what God says in Ezekiel 3:18, ‘When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.’ Can you imagine God requiring the blood of people in your world at your hand just because you failed to let them hear the gospel enough to either accept or reject it. If you are a medical doctor, you are a watchman medical doctor who God is expecting to tell all his/her patients, family, friends and colleagues that “hey, have you heard, doomsday is approaching fast, have you guaranteed your escape?” and from there you share the gospel with them. Same applies to you no matter what your career/business is. God is counting on you to be responsible. Selah!

    REMEMBER: God is expecting you to warn everyone in your world of the impending doom.

    CONFESSION: I believe that God came in the person of Christ, paid the penalty for my sins and provided eternal life for me and everyone in my sphere. I am committed to warning everyone that doomsday is at hand. So help me Lord!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE: I command that your heart is set on fire for the gospel today. No blood of any soul will be required at your hand for negligence in Jesus name Amen!

    SOUL-WINNING IS YOUR PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT ON EARTH

    And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
    Mark 16:15 (KJV)

    When we say that something is of primary importance, we mean to say that it ranks first and that it is of first importance or value; that it is direct and immediate rather than secondary.  If it is primary then it is the most important element of all considerations.  As a believer, soul-winning is your primary assignment on earth.  When you surrendered your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, He would have called you home immediately; but He chose to leave you here on earth, why?  It is because when you are born again, you become the Christ that your world sees; you become the extension of divinity to your sphere of contacts.  You are now the light of your world; the salt of your world.  They are lost and hopeless without you.  Your presence produces preservation and illumination to your sphere of contacts.  The instrument of that illumination is the gospel of Jesus Christ.  2 Corinthians 4:4 talks about the light of the glorious gospel of Christ.  When you share the gospel, you are shining the light to your sphere of contacts.  Your business/career is a vehicle to convey you to the people in your world.  Your career/business is not your primary assignment.  It is utter misplacement of priority to make your career/business as your primary assignment.  Your business/career is only a point of contact for you to communicate the gospel to your world.

    Our Lord Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. You probably cannot go to all the world but you can go to your world.  Your world is your sphere of contacts – your family, friends, colleagues, associates, and people you meet on a day to day basis.  Beloved, your goal should be to present the gospel in such a clear term that everyone in your sphere has the opportunity to make a decision either to obey the gospel or not.  Remember, you can persuade, you can compel but you cannot force someone to accept the gospel.  Once you have done your best and the person has understood what the gospel is all about and still rejects it, then you are free from that person’s blood.  You can invite a colleague to church.  You can hand a waiter a handbill.  You can talk to your mechanic.  You can ensure that all your family that benefits from your resources are compelled to be in church.  Everyone under your roof must be made to appear in church.  All these efforts is to give them the opportunity to hear the gospel and make a decision for their eternity.

    Have you lived with a misplaced priority?  Have you focused on your job to the detriment of the gospel?  Have you been ashamed of sharing the gospel with your business partners?  It is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful.  The most important thing on earth is the soul of man.  If you are too ashamed to help someone escape the horrors of eternity without God, then you are the most foolish person around.  You are callous and if it is not too make to say even wicked.  A believer that is not committed to sharing the gospel to his/her world is beyond words despicable.  If you understand that everyone without Christ is heading to an eternity in flames of hell and you do nothing, you are beyond words wicked.  Please understand today that preaching the gospel is your primary assignment here on earth and it holds the key to how much divine intervention and manifestation you can experience in your own life.  Selah!

    REMEMBER:   Preaching the gospel with your lifestyle and words is your first and most important task on earth.

    CONFESSION:  I am an ambassador of Christ on earth dispensing eternal verities to the peoples of the world.  I do not fail.  I am the light bearer both in the way I live and in the words that I speak.  Christ is seen in me and through me.  Hallelujah!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE:  I decree that the channels of your spirit open up to your primary assignment to the gospel in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • TUESDAY OCTOBER 6 PROPHETIC RELEASE

    You know that report you are carrying around is not yours. The Word says that He Himself took your infirmities and carried your sorrows (Matthew 8:17; 2 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:1-5). If that is true and you can believe it then you can’t have what was taken away about 2000 years ago. Whatever that report is, it has changed, go back and get retested. I decree the root of that infirmity uprooted in your life now by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Be healed now from the hair of your head to the soles of your feet in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

    THE TIME IS SHORT

    Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
    Revelation 12:12 (KJV)

    The devil knows that he has but a short time but unfortunately so many Christians do not know that they have but a short time on this side of eternity.  Today we are going to look at prophetic timeline and see why soul-winning is so urgent at such a time as this.  God gave Daniel a vision of what He will do in the end times and it is commonly referred to as the seventy weeks of Daniel (Dan. 9:23-27).  The seventy weeks of Daniel is the prophetic timeline of Israel as a nation and people.  Whatever God is doing in the world today, Israel is the point of contact for it. God’s agenda is in relation to the covenant He made with the ancestors of Israel, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  In prophetic language, one week is equal to seven years.  So seventy weeks is equal to 490 years.  God said that seventy weeks is given to Israel to finish transgression.  This seventy weeks started from the 7th year of King Artaxerxes being April 3, 458 BC (Gregorian calendar).  From 458 BC to the time the Messiah was cut off around April 3, 33 AD was 69 weeks.  This vision of Daniel and the one given to Nebuchadnezzar are one and points to the same end time events.  From the Vision of Nebuchadnezzar, the ankle of that image which prophetically is referred as the “Parenthesis” is the times of the gentles which is the age of the Church.  One week was remaining from the vision of Daniel which represents the time (seven years of Anti-Christ) of Jacob’s trouble when the Anti-Christ will break the treaty with Israel and unleash persecution which will culminate in the second return of the Messiah.

    From the time that the Messiah was cut off to His second coming is 2000 years.  Some Theologians believe that AD 33 was the time the Messiah was cut off.  If we go by that date, 2033 will be 2000 years from that cutting off.  The Church of Jesus Christ on earth today is the restraining forces that is withholding the manifestation of the Anti-Christ (II Thessalonians 2:3-12).  The stage however, is set for the Anti-Christ, the only thing remaining is the rapture of the Church.  Once the Church is taken away at rapture, the man of sin (the Anti-Christ) will be revealed.  Jesus Christ is coming back after 2000 years according to the prophetic scriptures and before that time, the Anti-Christ will be here seven years.  It is towards the end of the seven years with the time of intense heat for Israel that their Messiah will emerge, destroying the Anti-Christ and beginning the 1000 years reign from Jerusalem.

    We are in 2020.  Remove seven years from 2033, you have 6 years.  If the dates are anything to go by, then we have between now and maximum 6-10 years to expect the rapture of the church.  Should every living soul around the world not hear that time is running out to make a decision about their eternity?  If you are born again, you should preach the gospel with such velocity because time is short.  If you are not born again, you should know that time is running out.  Unfortunately it is only humanity that does not know but the adversary the devil knows this very well.  Within the next six years, we are specially suppose to be rapture conscious.  The events unfolding before our eyes all allude to this shortness of time.  There is a threat to have every inhabitant of the earth vaccinated by 2030.  What is in the vaccines?  You have probably heard of quantum dots vaccines being developed by MIT engineers. You have probably also heard of ID2020, the program to leverage immunization as an opportunity to establish digital identity.  Beloved, all these are being proposed to be implanted either on the forehead or right hand (see Revelation 13:16-18).  When we say the time is short, prophetically, it is even at the door.  Preach the Word!  Win a soul today!  Save somebody from eternal doom!  Shalom!

    REMEMBER:  There is an urgency in the spirit to soul-winning now because time is very short.

    PRAYER:   Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for insight into prophetic timeline.  I ask that you awaken every believer to the urgency of the moment.  I ask that you open the eyes of the unsaved to the light of the glorious gospel today in Jesus Name Amen!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE:   Everything that makes you at ease in Zion is cursed today in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

    This is your week of taking strange steps. You have postponed that execution for so long. You are waiting for a suitable climate but the Lord is telling you to step out this week and act in line with that goal and He will help you. This week your steps will trigger divine help released to accomplish seemingly impossible goals.     WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?

    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
    Romans 10:9 (KJV)

    You have been hearing of the term “gospel” and sometimes, we may get acquainted with a word thinking that it means something only to discover that we have been wrong about the meaning we have come to ascribe to the word.  The word translated as gospel in the New Testament is the Greek “evaggelion” meaning “a good message; good news” and the verb “evangelizo“ meaning “to bring or announce good news”.  Both words are derived from the noun angelos meaning “messenger”.  The gospel is the story that tells humanity that God has finished the work of salvation in and through Christ.  The gospel is the good news that God in Christ Jesus came in the person of Jesus, was born of virgin birth by the power of the Holy Spirit, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended to the right hand of God and that salvation and eternal life is available in His Name. In I Corinthians 15:1-4, the Apostle Paul enumerated these basic ingredients of the gospel.  The gospel is the good news that in Christ Jesus we are not just forgiven sinners but we are now new creations with the very life of God in us (see II Corinthians 5:17, 21).  In Christ Jesus, we are made the righteousness of God.  In Christ, we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17).  In Christ, we have the power of attorney to use the almighty name of Jesus to reign and rule on earth (Mark 16:17).

    The gospel is the good news that all that man lost in Adam, has been fully and completely restored to us in Christ Jesus.  The gospel is the good news that though you may not be an Israelite, but in Christ you are now the seed of Abraham with full rights to the covenant (Galatians 3:29).  The gospel is the good news that your servitude to sin, Satan and sickness was over on the cross of Jesus and now in Christ Jesus you are the lord over sin, Satan, sickness, poverty, etc (see John 19:30; 1 Peter 2:24).  The gospel is the good news that there is no other name given among men by which we shall be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (see Act 4:12).

    What does it mean to obey the gospel?  To obey the gospel means when you hear this good news that you believe it, then by faith confess that you believe that Jesus Christ came, died, was buried, rose from the dead and is at the right hand of God and that you make Him Lord and Personal Saviour of your life from that minute.  Then you are baptised as part of that confession by immersion in water.  When you have responded to the gospel in this way, you have obeyed it.  It is important to note that this gospel is the power of God to save even the vilest of sinners.  Its power can turn the life of a man 360 degrees in a split of seconds.  If you have not obeyed the gospel till now, please be encouraged today to take action.  

    REMEMBER:  The Gospel is the power of God to save even the vilest person.  

    SONG:  The vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receive.   Glory be to the Lord!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE:  May the power of the gospel shatter every yoke in your life and bring you to open heavens today in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

    THE ONLY REMEDY – THE GOSPEL

    He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
    John 3:36 (KJV)

    Genesis chapters 3 shows us the fall of man.  The consequence of that fall amongst other things was inheriting the destiny of damnation of the devil.  If the devil is your lord, then you would be where your lord ends up. Isn’t that logical?  Same is true if Christ Jesus is your Lord, then wherever He is, is where you will be also (see John 14:3).  The fall of man condemned man to the lake of fire at the end of the age and interrimly to hell.  Humanity’s condemnation to the lake of fire has nothing to do essentially to the sin of each individual.  It has everything to do with the nature that humanity inherited from Adam.  If it is possible to find one adult that is sinless, that human will still land in hell because he/she is a human being created with the nature of sin.  This is very important for those who are very conscious of their self righteousness.  There are those who believe that they are not sinners because they are not committing any known sin to them, but the fact that they were born by the coming together of a man and a woman has implicated them to the same condemnation of sinners.  But the reality is that all have sinned (see Romans 3:23).

    The only remedy to escaping the lake of fire is obeying the gospel of Christ Jesus.  The only escape is salvation that Jesus Christ brought.  How shall we escape then if we neglect this so great salvation? (see Hebrews 2:3).  No religion can save.  No other name can help.  The only solution and escape from hell is obeying the gospel.  Stop playing religion with your eternity.  Time is very short.  All these things that you are running after are shadows.  If you miss your place in the gospel you will mourn for eternity and then there is no longer any repentance. Do you know that one day, people will be crying to repent and accept the gospel but then time has elapsed.  Once you escape the earth either willingly or by force, your opportunity to choose your place in eternity is over.  It is the choice you made while on earth that subsists.

    Accept Christ Jesus today as Lord and Person Saviour if you are yet to do so and commit to heralding the gospel to everyone person that has not made that commitment.  This is an urgent matter and also a matter of life and death.  The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to arrive at the shores of eternity without the person’s name in the book of life of the lamb (Rev. 13:8).  May that not be you and all those in your sphere of contacts in the name of Jesus Amen!

    REMEMBER:  The only escape from the tragedy of the fall of man is Salvation in Christ Jesus.

    CONFESSION:  I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.  Eternity has already been sorted out for me and I am on the mission to enlist everyone on my sphere of contacts today.  I am committed to the gospel and I am fruitful on daily basis. I declare that no one who knows me will end up in hell in the name of Jesus!  Glory to the Father!

    PROPHETIC RELEASE:  The resolve to go all out for the gospel comes upon you now like a hurricane making you a fruitful bough by the well in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!
