THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (3): INTERCESSOR

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.John 14:26 (AMPC)

An Intercessor is a person who offers prayer, petition, or entreaty in favour of another. This is exactly what the Holy Spirit does for you. He offers entreaty and petition in your favour before the Father and on your behalf to any accusing voice in any other realm. Anywhere any voice comes up to speak against you, the Holy Spirit appears to entreat for you and suddenly there is an overturning in your favour. No one can successfully work against anyone who works intimately with the Holy Spirit because He is always on duty to intercede for you against any opposing voice.

This should give you some springs on your feet as you walk. You are a spirit being and can’t be stopped. You have got an Intercessor. You are a participator in the Divine-Life experience. No mortal can harm you. They may lie against you, don’t be perturbed. They may conspire against you, that shouldn’t give you any sleepless night. Anyone that rises against you is ordained to fall flat because of you (see Isaiah 54:17). The ministry of your Intercessor forbids that you lose in any confrontation. Now hear this, Isaiah 8:9-10 (KJV), ‘Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.’

I want you to see the passion with which the Holy Spirit makes intercession for you. Romans 8:26 (KJV), ‘Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself(Himself) maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.’ With groanings which cannot be uttered. Can you fathom such love? Your Intercessor the Sweet Holy Spirit loves you so much that He groans to ensure that you are not denied, resisted or refused. Oh Blessed Spirit of Yahweh, how much you love me, how much I mean to you, how much you wants me to succeed and glorify the Lord Yahushua in my life here on earth. It moves me to tears just to know that I have this person in my life, who would rather groan than see me lose – groanings that words cannot utter. What a person! Also notice that He knows your infirmities. Infirmities here is the Greek word ‘astheneia’ meaning feebleness of mind or body, it implies malady, moral weakness, frailty (disease or sickness). See, stop hiding from your Intercessor, He already knows your infirmities and He is working in you to make the necessary changes but in-spite of all that, He maintain affinity with you. Halleluyah!!! Glory to the Lord! Can anyone do any better than this awesome personality?

REMEMBER: The Holy Spirit is groaning in prayer, petition and entreaty in your favour.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I thank You for the gift of the Precious Holy Spirit, help me to always appreciate His groanings in my favour. Blessed Holy Spirit thank you for standing on my side and ensuring that I win everywhere. I love You in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree today that systems and individuals holding what belongs to you come under the pressure of the Holy Spirit to release yours into your hands. Your hands shall not be dry again. I curse empty-handedness now and release you into overflow of resources in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
