REMAINING A NEPIOS IS THE PROBLEM

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Galatians 4:3 (KJV)

Why are people who are born again; who have received eternal life into their spirit, who are heirs of Yahweh and joint-heirs with HaMashiach sick, afflicted and oppressed in their physical bodies? This is a question that comes up every time and thank Yahweh, we have light in the Word of Yahweh that answers it. Our opening text in context answers that question. Galatians 4:1 says, ‘Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;’ The born again person is an heir of Yahweh but as long as he is a child is not different from a slave. Tutors and house-helps can talk to him anyhow and order him around. Why? Because he is a child. The Greek word used is nepios meaning one who is immature, one that is simple-minded, one that is easily convinced; one that does not know how to speak. The elements of the world imply those things that are prevalent in the world; which include environmental hazards, effects of climatic changes, plagues, pandemics, sicknesses and diseases, etc. As long as you remain a child you are in bondage under the elements of the world. But you shouldn’t be because you are not of the world though you are in the world (see John17:16). You have been raised with Yahushua HaMashiach and seated in the heavenly places in HaMashiach and with HaMashiach. But because you don’t know it and is immature in speech, you cannot rule over the elements.

In the spirit realm, growth is not a function of years but of knowledge. You can be born again today and know what the new creation affords you and walk into it. When you come to that knowledge then you are ready to reign. It is not a function of years but a function of knowledge. But it is very unfortunate to know that many have been in the Church for years and are yet to grasp the realities of the new creation. They are the first to rush for drugs at any slightest headache. They know all manner of prescriptions for sickness not because they are health workers but because they are swallowing all manner into their system to maintain their health. Though they have been around for some time but they are still nepios, immature, unable to speak spiritual truths. I challenge you today to grow. Do whatever you can do to get the light required to check out every form of darkness harassing your redemption. You have been translated where you are supposed to reign by light. Don’t accept anything less.

How do you grow? I Peter 2:2 says, ‘As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:’ The Greek work translated babes here is brephos meaning an infant, one that has just been given birth to. As one that has just been born again, read, listen, meditate on the Word because that is what determines your growth. A nepios is different from a brephos. A nepios is one that is not trained to talk/speak right, but a brephos is just one that is just given birth. A nepios may have been around for quite sometime but is still immature but a brephos is just given birth to and is just new. If you have been in the Church for more than six months, you are no more a brephos, you are now a nepios. It means you have not given yourself to the Word for the required training. It can start today. Selah!

REMEMBER: Refusing to train in the Word makes you a nepios.

CONFESSION: I know who I am, an heir of God, a joint-heir with Christ, seated in the heavenly places far about all the elements of this world. From there I rule and reign over the elements. Glory be God!
