Welcome to the rest of the Lord. There is rest for your soul today. There is rest for your marriage and family today. Pride is a trap of the enemy; it has destroyed many destinies. Most unusual liftings lead to pride; but the answer to pride is praise. If you must escape the trap of pride, then you must understand the mystery of praise. A personal life style of continuous praise is able to destroy the poison of pride. Worms ate up Herod because he did not give Yahweh the glory. That means that if he had given Yahweh the glory, he would have been preserved. That means that giving Yahweh the glory, kills pride. If you want pride to be eliminated from your life, then you must learn to promptly and honestly return the glory back to Yahweh. Pride is real and it goes before destruction (see Proverbs 16:18). Whenever pride appears, the next thing that you will see is shame (see Proverbs 11:2). So destroying pride must be the goal of everyone that wants to go far with Yahweh. With pride you don’t need the devil to attend to your case, it is Yahweh Himself that will destroy you because He resists the proud (see 1 Peter 5:5). There was a man called Ahithophel. He was David’s counsellor. When he gave counsel, it was like hearing from Yahweh. But he saw this as a personal achievement and became puffed up. So, when his counsel was rejected, he hanged himself (see 2 Samuel.17:23). He was cut down because of pride. Remember also the story of the rich fool? He said, “I have made enough wealth, I will pull down these barns, I will build bigger ones, and I will say to my soul…” (Luke. 12:16-19). He was too full of himself, thinking that his rich harvest was as a result of his expertise. But Yahweh said to him in verse 20 ‘…Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?’ Pride cut him down!
There is a need to be careful here. Many of us will be entering into positions of authority, as Yahweh begins to glorify the Church. But let’s remember Nebuchadnezzar, so we would not fall into the same pit he fell into in Daniel 4:30. King Herod was also a victim of pride (see Acts 12:21-23). The end-time Church will enjoy Yahweh’s supernatural liftings, that it will take an understanding of the mystery of praise not to become a victim of pride. We are in the age of gifts and callings, in the age of amazing divine deposits in the lives of men. So we need to exercise caution, in order not to be destroyed. We must know how to always return all the glory back to Yahweh.
Every good thing you have ever seen in your life is not by merit, but by His grace. You’ll agree with me that if a young man becomes a millionaire at the age of 23, he will need the Holy Spirit to still be worshipping Yahweh at 40! Let’s be very careful, because pride is able to turn blessings to curses overnight. When glory shifts from Yahweh to self, destruction is on the way. Now that glory has come to the Church, let us learn how to direct the glory back to its owner. If an angel could fall to pride, you had better watch it. There is no anointing that pride cannot destroy. There is no empire that pride cannot devastate. Praise is the answer to pride. Selah!
REMEMBER: Returning the glory to Yahweh promptly and honestly kills pride.
CONFESSION: Dear Father, You own me and everything about me. It is your grace that is at work in me and I owe all to you. I love you Lord and do testify today that without You am nothing, that it is your hand in me that is being celebrated around the world and not me. Glory to your Holy Name alone!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: I release the grace to promptly and honestly return the glory to Yahweh for every act of His in your life in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

Unction talks about the power of Yahweh to perform His will on earth. Purpose is the will of Yahweh concerning your life, your career, family and church. Anything that concerns Yahweh requires His unction for execution. To walk in prosperity as a child of Yahweh, you require unction. To function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as seen in 1 Corinthians 12, you need the unction of the Holy Spirit. That power upon you helps you to enforce the will of Yahweh even in the face of satanic opposition. Until you are in praise, you cannot access fresh oil. There is a flow of fresh anointing in praise which ultimately engenders the fulfillment of divine agenda for your life and world. When you give thanks and sing praises from the heart to the Lord, there is a release of fresh anointing from His presence that comes upon you. When you are not in praise, you are not in Yahweh. The moment Yahweh is not for you, He can’t help you. When you are in praise, you are in Yahweh, and consequently in power. You are not just in power, but in unlimited power!
Praise brings down the power of God into a man’s life, because it provokes the release of fresh oil which endues with power. Nothing forces your enemy to surrender like power. Psalm 66:3 says, “…Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.” When you engage in genuine praise, you are anointed with fresh oil and endowed with power; that is when you begin to see your desires upon your enemies (see Psalm. 92:11). If through the praises of David the evil spirit that tormented Saul was cast out, it means evil spirit cannot attempt David himself. So, when you are in praise, no devil can interfere with the issues of your life, because praise puts you in command over your enemies.
Fresh oil commands fresh victories. While David was dancing and praising the Lord with all his might, Michal (his wife) looked at him and despised him. And because Yahweh does fearful things in praises, even though she was his wife, Michal was struck with barrenness! Nothing can stand in the way of praise. As you praise Him therefore, everything that mocks your destiny in Yahweh will be made to pay for it. When you praise Him, unction multiplies, and manifests in revelation and power, bringing about Yahweh’s numerous acts. From now on, as you praise Yahweh, His fearful acts will take place in your life and His new oil will drop on you, causing you to walk in power!
REMEMBER: Fresh unction is released at the instance of satisfactory praise.
CONFESSION: I never run dry of the oil of the Holy Spirit upon my life because praise is my lifestyle. I am position to accomplish Yahweh’s purpose in my life and destiny. Halleluyah!!!

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. Proverbs 15:13 (KJV)
Whatever breaks your spirit-man breaks your praise. Sorrow is an enemy of praise, and whatsoever stops your praise is an enemy of your destiny. Praises in the mouth of an unhappy man are like songs in the mouth of a pig; it’s a nuisance in the ears of Yahweh. Sorrow does not only break the spirit, it also blocks your access to Yahweh. Many ailments people suffer today are as a result of sorrow of heart. When your heart is broken, your body will soon fall apart. Your physical body is in danger at the instance of prolonged sorrow of heart (depression). There are two basic causes of sorrow in the lives of people:
1. Hopelessness: Hopelessness is a major source of sorrow. When you become hopeless on any issue, sorrow is the reward you get, it is the prize for hopelessness. Every time you come to the end of the road on any issue (according to your own assessment), sorrow takes over. But listen to this: it is foolishness to be hopeless as a believer in HaMashiach! See what the Word of Yahweh says concerning you: ‘For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.’ (Ecclessiastes 9:4) As long as the Vine is alive, there is hope for the “branches”. Yahushua said: ‘I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.’ (John 15:5). He is the Vine and you are the branches. If you are in Him, the devil cannot make you hopeless. You also have this assurance from Yahweh in the book of Jeremiah: ‘I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.’ [Jeremiah 29:11 (GNB)]
2. Following other gods. The second source of sorrow in people’s lives is following after other gods. Any other god you have besides the Almighty Yahweh will definitely add sorrow to your life, for it is the blessing of the Lord alone that maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it. Haven’t you heard? “Thou shalt have no other god before me.” That is Yahweh speaking in Exodus 20:3. One of such gods is the god of gold. ‘For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.’ (1 Timothy 6:10-11). When money becomes your god, sorrow becomes your heritage. This is because that thing called money is never enough. When money becomes your source of joy and excitement, you never have stable joy. It waxes strong today, and wanes tomorrow. Money compels spending, so every time it reduces, one’s joy drops. When it rises, a fake and ephemeral joy rises inside the man. And when he keeps having such high and low temperature constantly, Yahweh’s promise of long life is cut short.
The presence of sorrow is the absence of joy and the presence of Satan and his demons. Anytime you allow sorrow you open the door for demonic oppression by your own self. Sorrow is a great enemy of Yahweh’s presence. Even kings in this earth, appearing before them with sorrow is considered treason with attendant death penalty (see Nehemiah 2:1-2). It was only divine favour that bailed Nehemiah out of death that day. Whenever sorrow is present death become inevitable. Make your choice today. Selah!
REMEMBER: The presence of sorrow is the absence of divine presence.
CONFESSION: I am full of joy because I am full of the Holy Spirit. I have no room for sorrow and hopelessness. My expectation is only on the Lord. He is my God and I will love and serve Him alone and experience the wonders of His presence everyday. Halleluyah!!!

There is what the Word calls the light of Yahweh’s countenance. It is another name for supernatural favour. When that light shines upon you, both heaven and earth will begin to smile on you. Your destiny opens up supernaturally. No one ever enters into their destiny in HaMashiach without experiencing the light of His countenance upon them. OBSTACLES TO SATISFACTORY PRAISE (4): HIGH-MINDEDNESS
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: Romans 11:20 (KJV)
Highmindedness is one of the greatest enemies of praise. It is a condition where an individual sees everything as below his expectation. He sees himself as too much for where he is and hardly appreciates the acts of Yahweh in his life. As a matter of fact, Yahweh is too slow for him. This is nothing but a device of the enemy to turn one against Yahweh, by portraying Him as unfaithful and slow. The Bible says that in the last days, men shall be high-minded, lovers of pleasures and of self more than lovers of Yahweh (see 2 Timothy.3:2-5). They are never satisfied and they celebrate their qualifications and expertise at the expense of their relationship with Yahweh. At the end of the day, Yahweh leaves them to themselves. But 1 Timothy 6:17 says, ‘Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.‘ Life is in phases! Until you accept the reality of that statement, you may be phased out. You must appreciate the fact that you are where you are now, by the faithfulness of Yahweh. So, whatever you possess is not as a result of your expertise, but the hand of Yahweh upon your life.
There is nothing wrong with having a dream for your future, but the timings of its fulfilment must be left in the hands of Yahweh. ‘The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward…’ (2 Peter 3:9). That is why I believe I could not have been anywhere better than where I am now, because I am in the hands of a faithful Yahweh and no one could have handled my life better than Him. Yahushua said in Matthew 18:4, “Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” In Matthew 21:16 He also said, “… Have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?“
It says ‘be not high-minded but fear.’ You see high-mindedness is contrasted with the fear of Yahweh. You can only defeat high-mindedness with the fear of Yahweh. Walking in the fear of the Lord is what delivers you from high-mindedness. It takes being “child-like” minded to flow in perfect praise. Every little child believes absolutely in his mother. So, believe Yahweh, that where you are now is your best estate, and as you celebrate His faithfulness in your life, you will find yourself in the next phase He has prepared for you.
REMEMBER: High-Mindedness will make you regard Yahweh as too slow for you, hindering for seeing what He has done, thereby preventing you from praising Him.
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank You for the revelation of Your word. I ask that every trace of high-mindedness be mortified now in my life in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!
PROPHETIC RELEASE: The plague of high-mindedness is uprooted now in your life. You shall begin to celebrate the Lord genuinely from now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

OBSTACLES TO SATISFACTORY PRAISE (1): THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. Psalms 69:20 (KJV)
The spirit of heaviness is an enemy of praise. It is not a state of the mind, neither is it an attitude. It is a spirit – a force in the realm of the unseen. Its victim is not down because of any negative thing that has happened to him; he is depressed most times without even knowing why! He wonders what life is all about. I believe that was the spirit that came upon Elijah when he fled from Jezebel. He said, “… It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.” (1 Kings 19:4.). Until the spirit of heaviness goes, praise, which is your guarantee to the high places in life, cannot flow. But Isaiah 61:1,3 says, ‘The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to… appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…’
Even though heaviness is a spirit, the Spirit of Yahweh is superior to it. Paul said, ‘For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.’ (Ephesians 6:12). It is one of the devil’s acts of spiritual wickedness to put the spirit of heaviness upon a man, so that even in the midst of high praises he does not have a release to praise Yahweh. The devil knows that until you praise, you remain a victim of life. But you fight that spirit of heaviness by casting it out in the name of Yahushua, because He said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…” (Mark. 16:17).
Joy is your birthright and you maintain it by letting the Word of Yahweh dwell richly in your heart, till there is no room for the devil. So, you can rise up and say to that spirit of heaviness, “This is the day the Lord has made, I must rejoice and be glad in it! Therefore, in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach, you spirit of heaviness, loose your grip from me and get off my abode”, and you will be free. Now that Yahweh has delivered you from every sorrow and weight, He will also keep you free forever! Go and stay happy! Go and stay merry! Sorrow shall no longer find a place in your heart forever more! I curse everything that brings sorrow on your path! Go on celebrating forever, in Yahushua’s precious name!
REMEMBER: You need to be spiritually light to praise, never allow heaviness.
CONFESSION: Joy unspeakable full of glory is at work in my life. I have no business with the spirit of heaviness. The joy of the Lord is always my strength and I know no down times. Halleluyah!
