CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (12): HOPES ALL THINGS

its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, …
    I Corinthians 13:7 (AMPC)

This word we see translated as “hope” is the Greek word “elpizo” which means to expect or confide. The word is translated in other places as “trust” and “expect.” It is the confident expectation of something to come. To “hope all things” means to confidently expect the long-term spiritual growth of our fellow brothers and sisters in HaMashiach; to expect that their lives will turn out right; to expect that their situation will change for the better; to treat them according to that beautiful future you expect. To “hope all things” means that we never consider another to be a lost case. It means that we never give up on each other, even when we see one another fall and fall hard.

When we fail to “hope all things” we consider failures of sin to be a final judgment. It is portrayed in quickness to write the other off. We have critical notions of others and when they meet our expectations of their weakness, we cross them off our list and push them out of our lives. When we fail to “hope all things” we separate. We separate because we feel we have to move on, as if the offender has fallen out of our boat and won’t recover. And what is most awful about losing hope is that it can be so silent. We usually won’t even bother to confront them in hopes of producing repentance, simply receding from them, quietly, withdrawing from their orbit. We even convince ourselves that we are actually “covering their sin in love” by staying quiet.

We must come to that point where we expect the best of them, possessing an optimistic view of how things will turn out, in this life or, more importantly, in eternity. We must recognize ‘…that all things work together for good to those who love Yahweh, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’ (see Romans 8:28 KJV). This kind of attitude is tested when troubles arise, but possessing this kind of love means we will continue to confidently expect the best of the person we love. It also means we will do what we can to help that positive and Godly outcome become a reality. This can sometimes be a challenge. Sometimes circumstances develop or decisions are made that make it difficult to maintain an optimistic expectation for someone. That is where we need to remember that the essence of this love is the commitment to the best interest of the one we love. It is also important to remember how often we are on the other side, making decisions that make it difficult for someone who loves us to maintain that confidence in us. Selah!

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love expects the best future and works to help actualize it for people in the person’s world.

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for the love shed abroad in my spirit by the Holy Spirit. I ask for the grace to see the people in my world with your eyes and to treat them with love even when they are not getting it right in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: There is nothing that brings one divine presence and interventions like walking in love and I declare that as you make walking in love your great quest, everything mocking the glory of God in your life is cursed now in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (10): BEARS ALL THINGS

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Monday FEBRUARY 13, 2023

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (10): BEARS ALL THINGS

Love bears up under anything and everything that comes …

    1 Corinthians 13:6 (AMPC)

The more I try to comprehend this love, the more I am amazed and feel like I have not even started at all. The acid test of spirituality is walking in the Yahweh-kind of love. The Yahweh-kind of love bears up under anything and everything that comes. The Greek word rendered bears up or beareth (KJV) is stego. It means to cover and is related to the word indicating a roof, or a covering that offers protection from the elements. In his commentary, W. E. Vine explains that this covering either supports what is placed upon it, or covers what is placed underneath it. Love acts in both ways in bearing all things. The implications of this is awe-striking.

Love protects what is within. Love guards against resentment, anger, and discouragement. It isn’t hypercritical. Love doesn’t look for every fault or point out every shortcoming; it doesn’t complain, quibble, or criticize. How often we attack rather than protect. We expose rather than cover. We neglect rather than draw near! It is John MacArthur that says, ‘[Love] does not expose or exploit, gloat or condemn. It bears; it does not bare.’ In marriage (or any relationship for that matter), there are some things we must choose to overlook in our husbands/wives or in our marriages – as hard as it is. We must let that complaint, that shortcoming, that inconsistency go into the hands of Yahweh and choose not to pick it up again, dwell on it, or nurse the hurt. Because we love, we cover over what we do not like in another person, defending their character within the limits of truth and giving up our right or desire for revenge or justice. Instead of focusing on the faults, imperfections, or mistakes of each other, love chooses to focus on the positive and the good. But it’s a struggle! Bearing all things requires sacrifice and selflessness; really, nothing short of HaMashiach in us!

Love protects against the enemy without. We do not choose all of our circumstances. Life can be hard, but love supports what is placed upon us, standing up under the weight of it, no matter what tomorrow brings. Love bears the pressures, faces the trials, and does not give up. In addition to the trials that come in life, we will face many temptations. The enemy of our souls would love nothing less than our marriages destroyed, our families torn apart, and our characters demeaned. We must be on guard, ready to protect from whatever strikes. When attacked from without, love acts as a shield, keeping out the threats, not allowing them access to the person or the relationship. Like a roof keeps out rain or walls protect from wind, love is a shelter, a guard or defence; it bears all manner of danger from without and from within. Wow!

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love covers, supports and protects from within and without the relationship.

CONFESSION: The Yahweh-kind of love is shed abroad in my spirit by the Holy Ghost and I function in its reality in my relationships today. My love bears all things. My love covers, supports and protects the people in my world from within and without making us experience heaven on earth in our lives today and forever. Hallelujah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: By the manifestation of this love, I decree the restoration of relationships today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (8): IS NOT TOUCHY, EASILY ANGERED OR RESENTFUL

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Saturday FEBRUARY 11, 2023

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (8): IS NOT TOUCHY, EASILY ANGERED OR RESENTFUL

it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
    I Corinthians 13:5 (AMP)

Yahweh-kind of love is not touchy. There are people who are touchy or quick-tempered; they’re so sensitive, you have to be careful the way you talk to them, lest they be offended. That’s not the way of love. Love is not easily offended. To be touchy means to be irritable, quick-tempered, prickly or easily upset. The Greek word ‘Logizomai’ refers to “keeping a mental record” or “taking into account.”1 It is an accounting term. It accounts for the list of wrongs and possesses the ability to accurately look back and pull up any specific offence. As any accountant knows, if you keep track of someone’s payments or debts, it is because you have every intention of drawing their attention back to those financial obligations at some point in the future. The same is true in this case. Those who keep a record of offences (real or perceived) done to them, the intent is to bring those back up at some point in the future and hold that person responsible for their actions. This love does not do so.

Most translators interpret logizomai as not keeping a record or account of wrongs (NAS, NLT, NIV). A couple translate this idea as being “resentful” (ESV, NET). But there is potentially one slight difference as seen in the KJV’s translation, “thinketh no evil.” Chrysostom and Barnes aligned to the KJV’s thought. According to Chrysostom, ‘Paul doesn’t say, “worketh no evil” but, [instead love] thinketh no evil.” Love is so far from evil that it doesn’t even suspect evil of her beloved. How could she even be provoked? The fountain of wrath flows from the presumption of evil.’2 Albert Barnes reflects a similar thought when he said, ‘It means that love, or that a person under the influence of love, is not malicious, censorious, disposed to find fault, or to impute improper motives to others. . . . it is not disposed to think that there was any evil intention even in cases which might tend to irritate or exasperate us. . . . it puts the best possible construction on the conduct of others, and supposes, as far as can be done, that it was in consistency with honesty, truth, friendship, and love.’3

Both Chrysostom and Barnes reflect an insightful thought that is as well embedded in the KJV’s translation. If you never conclude that someone was malicious towards you and if you always assume the best of people’s intentions, it will be easy to overlook an offence because you will never take the offences personally. This is a little different than the conclusion of modern translators and commentators. They see this term as referring to accounting. In this case, the person would be aware of an offence, but they would not keep track of or record offences. While Paul’s intent is likely “love keeps no record of wrongs,” most certainly we should strongly consider the exhortation to accomplish this first by not being offended in the first place – not assuming the worst of someone’s motives. If we assume the best in people, we will likely have far fewer potential offences to overlook. Selah!

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love assumes the best of people’s intentions (thinketh no evil) and this cuts off the chance to be offended.

CONFESSION: I refuse to be resentful, touchy or self-seeking, because I’m full of divine love! The love of God is growing in my heart, and I’m deeply rooted and grounded in love. As I go forth today I do not behave unbecomingly, nor blaze out in anger, but manifest love to everyone I meet. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I declare upon you today, favour that will ensure you never lack in this season is released upon you. You are exempted from the evil of the day. Peace to you and your household in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (6): IS NOT RUDE

    #WordForTodayDevotional

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (6): IS NOT RUDE

it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. …
    I Corinthians 13:5 (AMP)

To be rude is to be socially incorrect in behaviour. It is of a person, lacking in refinement or grace. It is lacking civility or good manners. The Greek work is aschemoneo meaning to be (act) unbecoming, exactly how Amplified puts it. The place our spirituality is easily known and tested is in the use of words. So many prayerful people are very rude. They can easily insult the people in their lives and that does not bother them. The Yahweh-kind of love is not rude. If you get the use of your tongue right, then you are a perfect person. James 3:1-12 explained this issue very succinctly. It is a long reading, but it is worth the time. “1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us? and we turn about their whole body. 4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature? and it is set on fire of hell. 7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame? it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father? and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Love doesn’t act improperly, or dishonourably, or indecently. Love doesn’t behave in an ugly or unbecoming manner. Love doesn’t needlessly offend, or act bluntly or crudely. Love does not behave gracelessly. And so if you state it positively, love always behaves itself – it always acts properly and honourably, and decently and gracefully. Rather than being rude, love acts with common courtesy. The Yahweh-kind of love will be gracious with words as the Word commands (see Colossians 4:6). Selah!

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love always speaks with grace.

CONFESSION: My word is always with grace seasoned with salt and it gives grace to every one that hears me. I function like this as a lifestyle. Glory be Yahweh!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree a restoration of your relationship today as your words align with grace seasoned with salt in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (4): IS NOT BOASTFUL

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Tuesday FEBRUARY 7, 2023

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (4): IS NOT BOASTFUL

love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, …
    I Corinthians 13:4 (AMP)

Love is not boastful. To be boastful is to take delight in our own accomplishments or positions and flaunt the fact that other people have not accomplished them. This second part is crucial, there is nothing wrong with recognising who we are and what we have done. We’re not asking people to pretend they are something they are not, or pretend they have not accomplished what they have accomplished. We’re talking about flaunting that in the face of those who have not accomplished that and regarding them as inferior because of it. In fact that is the key, its not about your accomplishments, its about seeing those accomplishments as making you more important than everyone else. Being boastful is arrogating to yourself the glory of your accomplishments. It is thinking and talking as though it was all by your power that you are where you are and have accomplished what you have accomplished. Love is not boastful. Yahweh-kind of love recognises that there is nothing in anyone apart from Yahweh. The Yahweh-kind of Love recognises that it is all by the power and help of the Lord that anything has been accomplished at all.

Again our ultimate example of this is Yahushua himself. Philippians 2:5-8, says that Yahushua did not consider equality with Yahweh something to be grasped but made himself of no reputation. He was not boastful of his stand with the Father. Here was Yahushua who was Yahweh, yet humbled himself to become human on our behalf and died a death of pain and shame for us. Yahushua was not acting proudly or boastfully when he lived among us. He was the one who took the servants place during the last supper. Yahushua and his disciples had gathered together to celebrate the passover. There was no servant there to wash their feet as they came in from the dusty road. We can imagine the disciples looking at each other, “well, I’m more important than him, surely you don’t expect me to do it. Look, there’s …, he should be doing it before me. If so and so, isn’t doing it then I’m not.” And then Yahushua gets up and washes his disciples feet. They are silenced and rightly shamed. They were acting proudly but Yahushua was humble. Love is not proud or boastful. To be boastful is to consider yourself to be more important than others. This is the exact opposite of Yahushua who gave everything he had, his privileges as Yahweh, his position, his home, his possessions, his life for the benefit of others.

Whatever you have or have accomplished is only because you have received it of Yahweh. It is the grace of God at work in your life. See what 1 Corinthians 4:7 (ERV) says, ‘Who do you think you are? Everything you have was given to you. So, if everything you have was given to you, why do you act as if you got it all by your own power?’ NET says ‘why do you boast as though you did not’?

REMEMBER: This Yahweh-kind of Love does not behave and talk as though it is all by one’s power.

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for your word to me today. Help me to know and behave in ways that shows that everything about me is from you and not by my power or godliness in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Pride kills. I decree its death in your life today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (3): IS NOT ENVIOUS

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Monday FEBRUARY 6, 2023

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (3): IS NOT ENVIOUS

…love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, …
    I Corinthians 13:4 (AMP)

First Corinthians 13 offers one of the Bible’s richest expositions regarding love. Verse 4 notes that love “does not envy.” So, selfish jealousy is at odds with Yahweh’s type of love. Some Bible versions rendered ‘love is never envious’ in our text as ‘it is not envious’ (NET), ‘it does not envy’ (NIV), ‘love does not envy’ (NKJV), ‘is not jealous’ (ERV), ‘charity envieth not’ (KJV), etc. The Greek word translated “envy” is ‘zeloo’ which means “to burn with zeal, to have warmth of feeling for or against, to affect, covet (earnestly), (have) desire, (move with) envy, be jealous over, (be) zealous(-ly affect).” Literally, the sense is “to be heated or to boil over with envy, hatred, or anger.” In the context of 1 Corinthians 13, the idea is that love does not focus on personal desires. It is not eager to increase possessions. Yahweh’s type of love is selfless, not selfish. Envy is when you want what someone else has and you resent them for having it. Spurgeon says it this way “There is a spirit, resident in the natural man, the human nature of man, which is always inclined toward hate and envy, always wanting to get somewhat from other men, and always grieved if other men seem to be or to have more than the person himself has.”

Envy is the opposite of God’s command not to covet (see Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21). “Love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:10). The one who truly loves will be in conformity to the Ten Commandments, and envy will be excluded. In contrast to God’s command, the Corinthian believers were ranking some spiritual gifts as more important than others and envying those who had the “best” gifts. In chapter 12, Paul points out that the different gifts are meant to serve one another and build up the church. No one person has all the gifts, but each child of God has at least one, and love demands that each gift be used to serve others rather than self.

Envy rots the bones” (Proverbs 14:30). This means that envy is more deadly than the most lethal disease or virus. It corrupts the bones. New Living Translation (NLT) says it this way ‘...jealousy is like cancer in the bones’. When we crave what someone else has rather than being grateful for what Yahweh has given, we hurt ourselves. Instead of envying others, we are called to love them. True love—Yahweh’s love—rejoices when others are blessed. There is no room for envy. Yahweh-kind of Love does not seek to benefit itself and it is content with what it has, because its focus is on meeting the needs of the loved one and this is who you are as a born again person. May every trace of envy and jealousy die now and permanently in your life in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of Love does not boil over with envy, hatred or anger.

CONFESSION: I am born again by the Word of Yahweh. The love of Yahweh is shed abroad in my spirit and I am reflecting the glory of that nature to my world today. I am a lover and do not boil over with envy. As I come in contact with people today, the love of Yahweh in my spirit will ooze out to bless their lives. Halleluyah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: The Word you encountered today is settling every area of contradiction in your life in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (2): IS KIND

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Sunday FEBRUARY 5, 2023

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (2): IS KIND

love is kind and thoughtful, …
    I Corinthians 13:4 (AMP)

The second attribute of the Yahweh-kind of love is kindness. What is it to be kind? The phrase “is kind” in I Corinthians 13:4 is the Greek word chrēsteuomai, from the root word chrēstos, which E. W. Bullinger’s Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament defines as “good, gentle, benevolent…actively beneficent in spite of ingratitude.” Both “benevolent” and “beneficent” describe someone who does good. To be kind is to do good unto others, even if they don’t show appreciation for our gestures. The Yahweh-kind of love is always the answer to the odds of human demeanour. That definition of chresteuomai says ‘actively beneficent in spite of ingratitude’.

When Yahushua HaMashiach taught his disciples how to love with the love of Yahweh, He gave them the example of the kindness of Yahweh. In Luke 6:31,32,35, the word says ‘31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love [agapaō] them which love [agapaō] you, what thank [recompense, reward] have ye? for sinners also love [agapaō] those that love [agapaō] them. 35 But love [agapaō] ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind [chrēstos] unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Yahweh is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. This is the love of Yahweh. We see this expressed in Ephesians 2::4-5: ‘4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love [agapē] wherewith he loved [agapaō] us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)‘ We are recipients of Yahweh’s amazing love, for we have experienced His kindness toward us through Yahushua HaMashiach. He loved us even when we were dead in sins. Titus 3:3-6 says ‘3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness [chrēstotēs] and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost [the gift of holy spirit]; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Yahweh saved us according to His mercy—not because we deserved it. Yahweh’s love and kindness are not dependent on the goodness or gratitude of others. Extending the kindness of Yahweh to another person, especially when they are unthankful or evil, is a powerful way to positively affect someone’s life and the Lord Yahushua expects you to release kindness today and always to a hurting and ungrateful world.

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love is benevolent and beneficent in spite of ingratitude.

CONFESSION: I am a kind person and through me the Lord Yahushua is extending kindness to the hurting world around. Oh how much kindness we have received from the Lord!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Oh that the Lord will manifest His kindness through you to someone in your world today. I decree that you reap the fruit of kindness today in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (1): ENDURES LONG

    #WordForTodayDevotional

CHARACTERISTICS OF YAHWEH’S KIND OF LOVE (1): ENDURES LONG

Love endures with patience and serenity; …
    I Corinthians 13:4 [AMP]

Beginning from this day, we shall be discussing the characteristics of the Yahweh-kind of love. These are the manifestations of the Yahweh-kind of love in the Believer. Love is the first fruit of the recreated human spirit. This is because every other fruit is an overflow of love. As wonderful as the gifts of the Spirit are, the Bible teaches that it’s the fruit of the spirit – “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, [and] temperance” (Galatians 5:22-23) – that indicate a person is walking in the spirit and not the flesh. If you want to know whether you’re a spiritual person or not, look to see if you are walking in love. You simply can’t walk in the spirit or be a spiritual person without being ruled by love. The reason I single out love is because it is the foundation upon which all the other fruit rest. The others flow out of love. To find out just how important love is in the economy of Yahweh, read the first few verses of 1 Corinthians 13, “1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge? and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.” (verses 1-3).

Love is the bottom line. Nothing counts without it. In short, you and I can’t go anywhere spiritually until we get our love walk straight! Then I Corinthians 13:4 starts enumerating the characteristics of this Yahweh-kind of love and endurance and patience is the first to be mentioned. It is also worthy of note that Apostle Paul mentioned patience and endurance as one of the fruit of the recreated human spirit. There is something about patience that model love. As an individual who has walked with the Lord for years now, this is still an area of concern in the author’s walk of love. Maybe until you get your long endurance right, you are still to begin in the school of love. We live in a world that takes advantage of people that endures long and we often just gets tired of enduring.

The Greek word used here is makrothymia. Sometimes English translators choose to translate the Greek word hypomonē as “patience” (e.g. Luke 8:15; Romans 2:7; 2 Corinthians 12:12; Revelation 2:3). But hypomonē differs from makrothymia. Hypomonē almost always refers to perseverance or endurance in the face of difficult or painful circumstances (think James 1:3). But makrothymia almost always refers to a forbearing, persevering, patient love toward a person. It is a form of self-sacrificial love we extend to someone else. If it is the Yahweh-kind of love, then it endures long and is patient.

REMEMBER: The Yahweh-kind of love always forbears, perseveres, is patient and endures long.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to function in authentic love which endures long and is patient in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I release this virtue of love into your life today and let the effect be the restoration of relationships in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • THE GREATER LOVE

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Thursday FEBRUARY 2, 2023

    THE GREATER LOVE

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
    John 15:13 [KJV]

Greater love is a superior love. It is the surpassing love. It is love that pays the ultimate price. That is the love of Yahweh in full manifestation expressed in Yahushua. When Yahweh made man, in his love He gave him freedom of the will and placed him in the garden of plenty and abundance. However, man obeyed Satan and rebelled against Love. That brought negative consequences to man. Every evil around today is traceable to who man submitted to against his maker. People are always quick to remark, ”if Yahweh is love, why are there so much evil in the world?”. The answer is really simple. Evil in the world is all orchestrated by Satan courtesy of Adam and Eve. The dominion over the earth was given to Adam under the guidance of Yahweh. That guidance was the Word spoken to him. He was also given freedom to do as he please. He could swing his allegiance whithersoever he wishes. That is freedom. As you already know, he sold out to Satan by disobeying Yahweh. That transaction made Satan the god of this world from that day instead of Adam.

Can you imagine what it could be like if Satan is reigning in a place? You don’t need to stretch your imagination too far. Just look at the world today. That is the result of the government of Satan. II Corinthians 4:4 made it clear that Satan is the god of this world; “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (KJV). Both man and the world under him came under the authority and dominion of Satan. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 denotes Satan and his anti-Christ as the Wicked. Whenever you see wickedness and evil, Satan is behind it. He may use everything under his dominion like people, demons, witches and wizards, etc.

Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. So, man died. He became in need of a redeemer. The demand of justice is that anyone to redeem man must pay the price of sin which is death and hellfire. That was what Yahushua was referring to in our opening verse. He laid down His life for love, for His friends, you and I. Man’s greatest need is salvation and Love has paid for it in full. Whatever that’s confronting you now bows today to this Greater Love. If you are not sure of your salvation pray today’s prayer with all your heart. If you are not saved, you are still under the dominion of Satan and no matter how comfortable you are now, you can’t emerge a winner at the end. Nothing from Satan is free. It is costing you so much now and ultimately hellfire. Escape today. Shalom!

REMEMBER: Yahweh greater love settled salvation matter for you once for all.

PRAYER: Dear Father, Thank You for Your Word to me today. I believe that Yahushua HaMashiach has paid for my redemption. I accept Yahushua today as my Lord and Saviour and confess same. I am free from sin and the wickedness of Satan. Now, I command you Satan, get lost in my life and destiny in the precious name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I command your life and destiny to open up now. Every power holding what belongs to you is judged now by fire in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

  • WHAT IS THE LORD SAYING FOR FEBRUARY 2023?

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Wednesday FEBRUARY 1, 2023

WHAT IS THE LORD SAYING FOR FEBRUARY 2023?

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
    I John 2:15 [KJV]

Welcome to the month of February in our year of the #DependableYahweh. We are already set this year for outstanding success having stayed almost all through January on the fasting and prayer mountain. It was such an intense month of prayer and fasting with the theme “I am empowered on the altar of fasting and prayer to serve the Dependable Yahweh.” We explored the fact that you are here to serve the interest of the Kingdom of Yahweh, otherwise, you would have been physically translated the very day that you got saved. He left you here so that you can be an instrument to bringing others out of the bondage of sin and Satan. We saw what fasting is and scriptural examples of fasting. We examined in depth what fasting offers and how to fast acceptably. There is acceptable fast and also unacceptable fast. We believe in all that you were transfigured as you prayed and more importantly empowered to serve Yahweh this year. We prayed intensely to receive the grace to serve Him as a lifestyle with proofs and we believe that the rest months of this year is already a walkover. Having been empowered, it is now time to prove our love for the Lord Yahushua HaMashiach by deploying ourselves full-time for the interest, increase and expansion of His kingdom.

We saw as we explored fasting that no matter what anyone has done, true repentance with fasting always brings forgiveness. We saw the story of King Ahab who was wicked as I Kings 21:25 says, “But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.” But when he humbled himself in prayer and fasting with sackcloth, Yahweh forgave him. I Kings 21:29 says, “Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his house.” We serve a Dependable Yahweh. His love is constant and dependable. There is nothing you have done that He will not forgive when you genuinely repent like king Ahab. The case of king David also comes readily to mind. When confronted about his wickedness and despicable actions, fall upon his face and wept before the Lord and the Lord forgave him. From every scriptural perspective, it is obvious to see that Yahweh’s love is Dependable. You can fall backwards with your eyes closed and be sure that you can never fall because He is right there to hold you.

The challenge therefore, is not with Yahweh’s love for us, but our love for Him. Can our love for Him be proved dependable? That is where the challenge lies. So, many of us are professing that they love the Lord but indeed deny him in their actions. We claim we love the Lord but at the same time love the world. This is practically and scripturally impossible. You cannot love Yahweh and the world at the same time. You cannot serve Yahweh and the world at the same. This month is a month to ensure that we are not failing the Lord in any way. I John 2:15-17 says, “15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Our prophetic focus for the Month of February 2023 therefore, is “YAHWEH’S LOVE IS DEPENDABLE BUT CAN HE DEPEND ON MY LOVE?” (I John 2:15). Beloved, if the Father demonstrates His love for you while you didn’t know Him, be rest assured, that He did not bring you out of bondage to watch Satan and his cohorts mess with your life and destiny. He brought you out to decorate you; to make you a masterpiece of His love and grace and this month of February will establish that in your life. The Father’s love is on you and no Satan’s agenda can annul that. He did something about you while you were yet a sinner, now that you are saved and it is time to prove your love for Him by being committed to what He loves and that is the salvation of the souls of people. It is in you showing your love for Him that He manifests Himself to you. John 14:21 “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” His manifestation is what we call testimonies and change of levels in life. Shalom!

    Happy New Month!

Remember: Yahweh’s Love Is Dependable But Can He Depend On My Love?

THANKSGIVING: Dear Father, thank You for the privilege of life, sound mind and body, of seeing a brand new month. Thank You for sending Yahushua HaMashiach to pay the price for my sins and for the privilege of your presence in my life by the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit). Thank You for bringing me into this month of FEBRUARY to manifest yourself to me as You challenge me to prove my love for You. Thank You for all you did for me in the month of January. Thank You for what You are set to do in me and for me this new month. To You alone be all the glory in the precious name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I decree that this month of FEBRUARY shall not see your end but you shall see its end. The Lord shall settle you in that area of need this month. I decree no evil news shall be heard in your life, family and job/business. This month, the heavens open over you and your family for a turnaround your world cannot deny. This month, every agenda of evil against you is shattered now. You shall only walk in success, increase, favour, supernatural possibilities and triumphs on every side you turn. No man shall be able to stand against you and your progress all the days of this month. Testimonies shall be your daily bread this month and celebration unending shall be in your house. You are coming into a world of all possibilities this month in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach Amen.
