  • THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

    THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;   22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
    Romans 3:21-22 (KJV)

As much simple as the truth is, so many people are yet to come to terms with it.   The Word of Righteousness is in that category.  The Word of Righteousness describes the plan of God which he hatched and executed after the fall of man.  When man sinned against the Lord, he came short of the glory of God.  When the Bible uses the term “man”, it describes the human race of both male and female.  The verdict of man’s disobedience is death, spiritual and eternal death and nothing can be done except the demand of justice is satisfied.  The problem is that man can never satisfy the demand of justice to redeem himself.  So the Bible says that all that man can muster in terms of righteousness is a filthy rag before God (Isaiah 64:6).  Man was left in the power of his enemy the devil and the devil had a field day dealing with man.  God introduced the law to cut off the influence of the devil over man.  In the law, sacrifices were provided to cover the sin of man which in turn makes him acceptable before God.  If man decide to keep the law, then the negative consequences of sin are suspended cutting off the influence of the devil over him, making man enjoy the blessings of the Lord, especially the blessing of His presence in their midst.  Even though that presence was tabernacled in on one central place but the covering was over all that kept the law (see Romans 10:5).

The problem with the law was its inability to change the nature of man, making it difficult for man to truly keep the whole law.  Sin was not just an act problem, it is a nature problem. The disobedience of man changed his nature from that of God to that of Satan.  It is at this point that many disconnect from the Word of Righteousness.  The problem of man was not just forgiveness of sin but a complete recreation.  Man needed the nature of sin to die and a completely new nature to emerge in order to be acceptable before God and this was what the law could not do.  It was only God that had a way out of man’s predicament.  So God came in Christ Jesus, became man, was born of virgin Mary by the incubation of the Holy Spirit.  The Word became flesh and dwelt among us Apostle John says in John 1:14.  Finally Jesus died because it was only a sinless blood of man, not of bulls and goats, that can satisfy the demand of justice for man’s transgression (Hebrews 10:4).   Jesus took man’s place, went to hell, defeated Satan in his territory and collected the dominion of man back.  Rose from the dead and ascended where He deposited His blood at the altar of heaven for the atonement of man’s sin once for all. He was given a name above all other name and a new generation began in Him. (see Philippians 3:5-10).

For space let us try to pin this.  Now when you surrender to Jesus, you are not just forgiven of your sins, you are also recreated (see 2 Corinthians 5:17).  You become a new specie of being that never existed before.  That new nature is the nature of righteousness that the Holy Spirit imparts to your spirit at new birth.  Now, what did you do to deserve it?  Nothing, absolutely nothing apart from believing in what Jesus Christ did for you and receiving Him into your spirit.  This is what is called new birth.  The day you became born again, you became all the righteousness you could ever be.  You become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  You can never earn it by your work of righteousness or right conduct.  In fact, without that new nature, whatever you do in terms of good works is like a filthy rag before God.  God now sees you in Christ.  God now sees you righteous, holy, complete, and perfect in Christ.  This is what the word of Righteousness is all about.  And till you meet Jesus face to face, you must maintain that consciousness that you stand by the righteousness of Christ Jesus not yours.  Any day you start seeing you standing by your own righteousness, you have fallen from grace (Galatians 5:4).  No space to tell you some things! Shalom!

REMEMBER:  You are now the righteousness of God, consciously walk in that truth.

CONFESSION:   I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.  I was born sin-free.  I am not a sinner, I am a saint because of what Jesus did for me.  I can never be defeated by sin, Satan and sickness because I am made more than conqueror. Hallelujah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:   I decree that your heart is receptive to the truth of God’s word in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (4): STAGNATION, FRUSTRATION, SHAME AND REPROACH

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Saturday September 5, 2020

THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (4): STAGNATION, FRUSTRATION, SHAME AND REPROACH

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
    Proverbs 14:34 (KJV)

At the root of a life full of reproach, stagnation, frustration and shame is the canker called sin. Sin has the ability to destroy a beautiful destiny. At creation, God made man with a destiny of dominion over everything. Nothing was able to work against man. Whatever he calls answers. There was no struggle of any sort. Nature literally worshipped Adam because they were made to do so. You see whenever you are in obedience to God, nature is in obedience to you. II Corinthians 10:6 says that you will be ready to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. In Eden, Adam’s obedience was fulfilled, hence he was in perfect dominion over the issues of life. But when Adam introduced disobedience, nature rebelled against him till date. Things stopped answering to his call. They weren’t really obeying Adam in the first place, they were obeying God in Adam. So when he disconnected from God, he became just an ordinary creature. Sin stripped him naked. Shame became his portion. Reproach became his neighbour. Frustration became his experience because now he would have to labour to get anything he wants and that was not only a guarantee that he was going to get it. He can sow seed into the ground and the ground could decide not to yield to him. That brought stagnation, frustration and dismay. Sin is the remote cause of all the woes in life. You need a miracle today is because of sin. God didn’t create you to live on miracles. You run helter skelter today is because of sin. Man was not created to suffer before getting things done. All the suffering and smiling we see today is the direct consequences of sin.

It is the presence of God in you that greases the wheel of progress in life. Without that presence, you are on a free roll to suffering, frustration, deprivation, shame and reproach. You may say but am not suffering, am getting money, am healthy, things are working for me, sin is not my problem. If you are living in sin and it appears things are working for you, I would encourage you to check out Psalms 73. Verse 17 says, ‘Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.’ You are slipping down into hell the only issue is that you are too blind to see it. God is a merciful God. Sin may be sweet and pleasurable but it can never go unpunished. If it seems that your way is prosperous even though you are living in disobedience to the Word of God, the devil has caught you with his robe on your throat, dragging you down to the flames of hell. Remember the rich man in Luke 16:19-31. He is even richer than you and had enough enjoyment than you are presently having. Don’t be deceived by sin, none of it will go unpunished. The flames of hell is real.

Adam lost but glory be to the Lord God because we got it back in Christ Jesus. Beloved, that life that Adam lost in Eden has been restored to us in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus, you are no longer to suffer shame, reproach, frustration and deprivation in life. In Christ, the only thing allowed is called persecutions not suffering and there is a world of difference between both. People should envy you now enough to raise eyebrows and say ‘is it only you?’. You are no longer to be pitied. That life of dominion we lost in Adam has been restored in Christ Jesus. If you not yet sure of your stand with Christ. Go straight down to the “ARE YOU SAVED?” and pray that prayer with the whole of your heart. Selah!

REMEMBER: That life we lost in Adam is restored in Christ Jesus.
    .
CONFESSION: I am born again by the Word of God. I now have dominion of sin, sickness, Satan and poverty. As I use the name of Jesus, I receive all that I desire and live a life of glory. Thank You Lord!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Today marks the end of that issue of shame and reproach in your life in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (3): DEATH (SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL)

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Friday September 4, 2020

THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (3):  DEATH (SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL)

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
    Ezekiel 18:4 (KJV)

Sin is not your friend.  Though there is fleshly enjoyment in sin which is why it lures many (Hebrews 11:25):, there is death at the end of the tunnel.  Sin’s final point of conquest is death. To cut away from the end result of sin, is to do away completely with the lifestyle of sin.  Your courting of sin because you are enjoying it is your courting of death because it is inevitable as long as sin is in place.  In Genesis 2:17, God told Adam that the day he eats of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he shall surely die.  The death is first spiritual death then physical death.  It is important to note that in sin you are already dead spiritually.  Spiritual death is separation from God.  It is separation from the Spirit of God and that is what sin engenders in your life.  It is important to know that spiritual death is already in force in your life now as you are reading this if you are still living a lifestyle of sin.  Peradventure you exit life now by force, you will land yourself in the flames of hell.  This is how scary and bad the situation is.  But as long as you are still alive in your body, there is an opportunity each day presents to you to make it right with God and eliminate sin from your life.

There is also physical death.  It is sin that brought physical death.  The original purpose of God was not death at all.  God made man to rule and reign on earth.  Man was immortal in the same image of God.  Oh the devastations of sin is practically incomprehensible!  Sin changed all that. The man who was made immortal in the very same image of God, is not susceptible to death. Whenever you see death or hear of one, look at sin in the face and curse it because disobedience is the ferry that brought death to man’s world.  Anything now can cut the life of man short.  Everything that man dominated before now dominates man.  Tress, animals, demons, Satan, etc can now cause man’s death, all because of sin.

Oh but that is not the end of the story!  Something has changed!  Christ Jesus has changed the game in man’s favour.  You should not die anyhow any more.  Look at II Timothy 1:9-10, ‘ 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,  10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:’  This is something to shout about!  Death is abolished in my life.  Immortality has been restored to me.  Hallelujah!!!  Beloved!  Can you see this?  This is saying that in Christ both spiritual and physical death has been abolished.  When I breathe my last here on earth, I continue to live with the Lord (II Corinthians 5:8).  This is why we must preach this gospel everywhere, because it is only in Christ Jesus that death has been given eternal technical, jurisdictional and territorial knock-out.  If you are reading this and you are not born again, go straight now to the “Are You Saved?” page of this devotional and pray that prayer with all your heart.  Selah!

REMEMBER:  The product of sin is spiritual and physical death.

CONFESSION:  I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.  Death has been abolished in my life.  The very life of God is at work in my spirit, soul and body.  Immortality is at work in me.  Hallelujah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:  I decree that determination of the process of death in your life today in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (2): SICKNESS, DISEASE AND AFFLICTION

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Thursday September 3, 2020

THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (2):  SICKNESS, DISEASE AND AFFLICTION

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
    Matthew 9:2 (KJV)

Jesus Christ in our opening text looked at this sick man and diagnosed the cause of his situation. This is to say that the remote cause of every sickness, disease and affliction in your body is sin. It may not be a direct sin of yours or your parents as Jesus Christ opined in the case of the man born blind in John 9:1-3.  Until sin came into force in Adam, there was no mention of sickness or pain in his body.  The presence of God forbids sickness or affliction in your body.  If the presence of God checks out, the result is sickness, disease and affliction because these are the direct result of the dominion of Satan over man.  Sin is a sinker of destiny and until you do away with sin, there is no hope of living in health.  True health is not a function of what you eat, it may be part of it.  True health is not a function of the environment you live in, it could contribute.  True health is the reign of the presence of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit in your body who has abolished death (II Timothy 1:10).  Sin invites the Satan and Satan comes with sickness.  That is how it works!  Sickness is a process of death.  Whenever you see sickness, what is knocking at the door is actually death.  Why?  Because the soul that sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:4) and sickness is the process of death.

Another reason why sickness is a result of sin is because sin has a curse verdict on it and guess what the majority of those curses are, sickness of course.  Deuteronomy 28:15-68 lists the curses.  Please beloved, take time to read those curses.  Those are the curses on the lifestyle of sin and God isn’t playing with words.  When you look at those curses and look at sin, wisdom should advise you if you have her.  The most alarming part of those curses when it relates to sickness is in Deuteronomy 28:61, ‘Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.’  That is even sickness that has not been known to mankind is included in that curse.  As we have already established from the reply of Jesus Christ in John 9:1-3 that it may not be the direct result of your sin but it could be the result of the sins in your father’s lineage or from your mother’s lineage.  The evil you do now can affect your fourth generation and when they will be suffering it, it wouldn’t be because of their own sin but because their forefather has implicated them in iniquitous lifestyle (Exodus 20:5).  Many of our forefathers literally by words transferred the consequences of their actions to their children’s children as in the case of the men that crucified Jesus in Matthew 27:25.

Now, the remedy for  sickness is removing the cause which is sin.  Jesus told that paralysed man, ‘Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.’  Coming to Jesus Christ for forgiveness is the way out of the reign and dominion of Satan over your life.  Hand over your life and destiny to Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, that breaks the dominion of Sin, Satan and Sickness in your life because no one can serve two masters at a time (Matthew 6:24).  In Christ Jesus, you have the power of attorney to use the ever conquering name of Jesus over whatever you don’t want including sickness (Mark 16:17-18).  You can lay hands on yourself and command that sickness to die in the name of Jesus Christ.  You can go to your pastor to pray over you and break the power of that sickness (James 5:14-16).  Then start eating well spiritually because your body’s health is a function of the health of your spirit man.  If your spirit is strong and healthy, it develops an impregnable immune system in your body.  As you stay in the Word, the Holy Spirit revitalises your body on a daily basis, making you look younger and healthier as the days go by (see Romans 8:11).  The Word is actually health to your body (See Proverbs 4:20-22).  Shalom!

REMEMBER:  The root of all sickness is sin, directly or indirectly.

CONFESSION:  I am born of the Word of God.  I have the very life of God (zoe) at work in every fibre of my being.  My body is impregnable to sickness, disease, infections and affliction by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in me.  Hallelujah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:  I command every sickness, disease, pain, infection or affliction in your body to die now in Jesus name Amen!  Exercise yourself and do what you cannot do before!  Share your testimony!

  • THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (1): LOSE OF DIVINE PRESENCE

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Wednesday September 2, 2020

THE DEVASTATIONS OF SIN (1):  LOSE OF DIVINE PRESENCE

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
    Genesis 3:23 [KJV]

In the following days from today, we shall try to establish the fact that the worst thing that can happen to you is to continue to live a lifestyle of sin.  We are going to explore the debilitating devastations of sin in the life of anyone.  People have asked, “Why is there so much evil in the world today?”  You see when God created the world, he gave it to man to rule the earth.  So the government in the world was vested on the shoulders of man and as long as he was under the authority and influence of his creator, he operated well in wisdom and order.  However, man was created as a free-morale being.  One day man decided to change allegiance from his creator to his enemy the devil, thereby acquiring his nature.  The devil is against everything that God the Father stands for – peace, love, goodness, etc.  The devil’s nature is hatred, wickedness, killing and all manner of evil that you cannot even think of now.  This was the nature that man acquired when he chose to disobey God.  All the evil in the world today is the direct result of man’s new nature of the devil.  Man now obeys the devil and the result is the abundance of evil in the world today.  Wherefore sin reigns, the resultant effect is trail of woes, pain, sickness and death.  The aim of sin is death.  Whenever you see the reign of sin, the ultimate purpose is death.  Sin is a process that ends in death.  Sin is disobedience to the Word of God (I John 3:4).  Sin essentially means “to miss the mark”.  The capital sin now is the rejection of the salvation provision of God which is Jesus Christ (John 3:36).  This is what will land anyone in the flames of hell.

When Adam disobeyed the Word of God, he lost the presence of God.  Sin makes one unable to enjoy the presence of God.  Sin disqualifies one access into the presence of God.  God is of a purer eyes than to behold sin (Habakkuk 1:13), so at the instance of sin in your life, He leaves you alone and when you continue in sin, you become the habitat of evil and the devil.  You will become desperately wicked like the devil your father.  When you continue in sin, you acquire the DNA of Satan who becomes your father and the will of your father, you will continually do. When Adam succumbed to sin, he lost the glorious presence of God.  The presence of God is what feeds all of God’s potentials and abilities in your life.  The potentials and abilities latent in you can only come forth in the presence of God.  There is Wisdom, Grace, Love, and untamed creativity in you but these only comes alive in the presence of God.  Outside of the presence of God, the weeds of the devil, wickedness, hatred, strife, murder, immoralities of inconceivable dimensions and abuse of everything, grows freely and manifests.  The presence of God is what guarantees your preservation against the hostilities of Satan and the gates of hell.  Outside of the presence of God, you are like a chicken in the devil’s poultry.  The presence of God is what brings about good in your life (James 1:17).  When you abdicate that presence, you come on a head-on collision with evil occurrences because Satan becomes your new master.

The good news is that sin has already been dealt with.  Sin is no longer a problem.  The problem now is your choice.  You have simply chosen to remain in sin, to enjoy the pleasures of sin which is but for a moment (Hebrews 11:25).  Choose to end sin today and that is it.  First action to deal with sin is to accept the price and remedy of God for sin which is Christ Jesus.  Then receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.  Then stay in the Word of God to feed your spirit to win everyday.  Ensure the presence of God by living a life of praise and you are through.  We shall continue to stress these points almost on daily basis this month because there is no other way to be free from sin.  The choice is yours.  Selah!

REMEMBER:  Sin will take you away from the presence of God which will ultimately bring death.

PRAYER:  Dear Father, I believe in Jesus Christ that he came, died, was buried and rose again to give me eternal life.  I believe in the price that He has paid for my redemption.  I ask that you open my eyes this month to the provisions of Your Word on righteousness so I can solidify my holiness stance in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:   This is that month you have been waiting for.  Whatever that has lured you away from the presence of God is cursed now in your life in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED

    #WordForTodayDevotional

    Saturday August 29, 2020

    BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
    III John 1:2 (KJV)

To access the realm of financial fortune and remain in that realm, you must be spiritually minded.  The covenant of blessing is not a game of give and take, no!  It is a relationship with God and being spiritually minded is key to maximizing your access and maintenance of the blessing of God on your life.  Why is being spiritually minded important and what does it mean to be spiritually minded?  Being spiritually minded is setting your mind on the Holy Spirit and the interest of God’s Kingdom.  It means to walk after the Spirit of God.  It means to live according to the dictates of the Spirit.  As we have said over and over in the course of this month’s teachings that God is not after your pocket.  Your pocket is too wretched for God to be eyeing.  God is after your heart not your cash (see Proverbs 23:26).  It takes being spiritually minded:

    1. To strive to know God more.  So many when the Lord put small cash at their disposal leave Church.  Someone told a pastor, “I was praying and fasting that hard when it was much rougher, now I don’t see the need for all that”  What he was referring to was the fact that his spiritual fire in prayer and fasting was high in the days he was still coming up in life but now he has some substance at his disposal, he does not see the need for that intensity again.  That is the kind of person that can never go far with God.  His seeking God is for things not for God. Philippians 3:10 was the desperation of a man that has gone very far with God but still striving for more.  Until you are spiritually minded, you will be pursing God for things and not for God, not to lay hold on the reality of His presence, principles and power.
    2. To know the seriousness of sinfulness.  So many people are playing with sin today.  So many unrighteousness has been commonised.  Do you know that it was sin and its consequences that made Christ Jesus go through the agony of the cross?  Do you know the sacrifice God had to make to atone for the sins of man?  You obviously don’t know. If you do, your attitude towards sin would change.  I John 3:5-9 spelt the matter verbatim.  For space, I would have reproduced it here, but please ensure you read that. You need to be spiritually minded to appreciate the sacrifice and nature of righteousness you have in Christ and not be returning to your vomit like a dog.  Even though you are saved, if you don’t finally align with the nature of righteousness you have received, you would end up in hell where the devil and his colleagues are.  Sin is not enjoyment.  Sin is signing in into a nasty end in the lake of fire.  In case you are reading this, and you are still signed in, please delete that account and never be back there again.  It is not too late to get it right.
    3. To understand God’s pleasure and pursue it with excitement.  Some of you have been in Church for donkey years but there is no passion for the things that please God.  How far with soul winning?  How far with defending the gospel against enemies that want to see it exterminated?  How have you used your position and possession to advance the gospel of Christ?  Have you not been ashamed to speak up for Christ and the Church where it matters most because you were ashamed to be viewed as a Christian fanatics?  See what the Spirit says in Luke 12:47, ‘And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.’  Giving to the gospel will be with excitement if you are spiritually minded.

Beloved, it is time to stop playing Church and mean business with the Lord.  Selah!

REMEMBER:  It takes being spiritually minded to know that it all does not end here on earth.

PRAYER:  Beloved Father, I thank you for your word to me today. I receive grace for daily intimacy with the Holy Spirit who will enlighten my eyes in the word and keep me spiritually minded, so that I will end well in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:  Begin to walk in the reality of divine presence which will produce the harvest of increase, abundance, advantage of the Holy Spirit, favour and glory from now in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • WHEN AM I DUE?

    Friday August 28, 2020

    WHEN AM I DUE?

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

    Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

There is what is known as Due Season in the school of prosperity. Due season is the season that your blessing matures and start flowing to you. Ecclesiastes 11:1-3 says, ‘1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. 2 Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. 3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.’ Every time you give, you are laying a foundation for the times to come (see 1 Timothy 6:19). So, your due season is when your cloud is full. You are not due until when your cloud is full! Until you have cast enough up there, laying up treasures for yourself in heaven, your rain of blessings will not fall upon you here on earth. How then do I fill up my clouds? It is by casting your bread upon the waters, and when it is due it will rain down blessings for you. Every opportunity to give a sacrifice brings you closer to your due season, because it helps to fill up your cloud faster than regular input. That’s why with every acceptable sacrifice, there’s a forceful turn around of destiny. The cloud suddenly becomes full, and the “rain” begins to fall! Each man plays a principal role in determining his due season. Some have been regular Christians for 20 years. Others have been around for just five years, and they have filled their clouds again and again, and the “rain” just keeps falling time and again for them.

It is evaporation that leads to “raination”! If nothing is going up from you, nothing will come down for you! Every rainy season is a time of refreshing and refreshing answers when your cloud is full. When evaporation is taking place, the earth gets drier and drier. But suddenly (when the water evaporated has condensed and the clouds can no longer contain its weight) the windows of heaven open and it comes back to the earth as rain. Your due season does not answer to prayer. It is only after the cloud of your giving is full that they empty themselves upon the earth as blessings. So your programmed efforts should be towards filling up the clouds again and again by giving and giving till the cloud is full. The rain will fall for every man who fills up his cloud. Every opportunity for sacrifice is to expedite your rainfall. It comes down with speed, because suddenly the cloud is full. I love this scripture: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (1 Timothy 6:17). There is a responsibility that will help keep you under heaven’s refreshing.

When you are due, the rain will fall. But until you are due, you can pray for as long as you like but nothing will happen for you! Why is there no rain in the desert? There is no evaporation there, so there is no way they can have rainfall; as what becomes rain takes off from the earth as vapour. So if nothing is going up from you, you can have a desert-like destiny, with nothing coming down for you. “God is not mocked”, says the book of Galatians, “whatsoever a man sows, that also he shall reap.” Friend, stay on course until your heaven is full!

REMEMBER: There is a due season, don’t be discouraged continue until the heavens is full and your harvests starts pouring.

PRAYER: Precious Father, thank you for enlightening me today, I receive fresh hunger and appetite to keep engaging in the giving covenant till my due season in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I arrest every arrow of discouragement in your covenant walk now in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

    KINGDOM PROSPERITY IS SORROW-FREE

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
    Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)

One distinguishing feature of the blessing of the Lord is that it is sorrow-free, hassle-free and strain-free. We have established already that the blessing is not being full of money. When we talk about the blessing and prosperity, the mind of people run to having a fat bank account. That is definitely part of it but the blessing is bigger and larger than have a fat bank balance. Inside the blessing is riches. Our opening text says that the blessing makes rich. That means that when you are blessed, you are on your way to riches, to be made rich. You don’t get rich to be blessed, but you get blessed to get rich. The truth is that it is not only the blessing that procures riches. The devil also gives riches when you adhere to his method. So, if riches is solely your aim, you can as well subscribe to the devil to procure one. However, when the devil gives you anything, it comes with a lot of pain, sorrow, mourning and eventually at the cost of your own soul. Mark 8:36 asked such a question as to clarify the consequences of subscribing to the devil, it is always at the expense of your own soul: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? When it is not God, then it cannot be good because every good gift comes down from above from the father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).

The value of the blessing cannot be comprehended and apprehended with words but from our opening text, it is obvious that it makes rich. Beloved, the blessing makes rich. It enriches your life and destiny in every way. Rich in peace in your life and family. Rich in security around you. Rich in possessions of material things like our patriarch Abraham (see Genesis 13:2). Then it comes all sorrow-free. All through this month, we have been discussing on how to encounter and sustain the blessing. We said that the blessing is only for the children of God, so you must be born again to come into it (see John 3:3). Then we said that the blessing is for the child of God that hearkens to the Word of God (see Deuteronomy 28:1-2). Then we said that the blessing is for the child of God that obeys the covenant of seedtime and harvest (see Genesis 8:22). Then we said you sustain the blessing by walking in consecration, dedication, affection and addiction with God.

Living in health, in a vibrant spiritual relationship with God are invaluable outcomes of the blessing. If you are challenged in your health, I decree that the force of the blessing rescues you now in Jesus Name Amen! Whatever is mocking the presence of the blessing in your life is cursed to its root now in the Name of Christ Jesus! Beloved, go for the blessing. It is the end of all human crisis and satanic incursions. At whatever point you are in your life now, the blessing will make a difference, a huge difference. You shall no more know any sorrow in your life. Today marks the end of sorrow, sickness and anything that negates the presence of the blessing in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

REMEMBER: The blessing makes rich and adds no sorrow.

CONFESSION: I am born again to reign again. The glory of God is in my spirit and I am positioned for increase, riches, wealth and impact in my world today. There is no sorrow around my life and destiny. I am walking in the blessing! Hallelujah!!!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: Everything mocking the glory of God in your life is cursed from its root now. In any area the blessing is yet to speak in your life, I provoke the speaking of the blessing in that area today in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • THE HUNDREDFOLD RETURN

    The Hundredfold Returns

    THE HUNDREDFOLD RETURN

29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,  30  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
    Mark 10:29-30 (KJV)

The Word is the seed of God.  The heart of man is the ground upon which the Word is sown. There are so many scenarios and outcome of the plantings of the Word in the heart as our Master Jesus narrated in Mark chapter four.  Please acquaint yourself of the different outcomes of the Word in that chapter.  But we are interested today in the fact that there is a seed that was sown in the good ground of the heart.  Though it was a good ground, still they produced in different dimensions.  The Word will produce according to how you hear it, how you receive it, and how you bring forth fruit. These returns are brought forth by believing and acting on God’s Word and by the confession of your mouth. Some hearers will bring forth no fruit because they will allow other things to choke the Word (Mark 4:19). Some will bring forth fruit. Some will bring forth a thirtyfold return, some will bring forth a sixtyfold return, and some will bring forth one hundredfold.  Then our opening verse reiterated the hundredfold return again confirming the fact that in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall each matter be established.  Beloved, there is a hundredfold return on whatever you did because of the gospel.  This includes your time, resources and efforts.  If you ever gave towards the gospel, you can expect a hundredfold returns.  None of the blessings of God work automatically, even though they belong to us.  They become manifested in our lives as we exercise our faith to receive them. Healing belongs to every believer, but that great blessing is enjoyed only by those who exercise their faith to receive it. Tithing carries great benefits and rewards, but if you don’t tithe according to the Word and use your faith to receive those benefits, they are not manifested in your life as they should be. In the same way the hundredfold return is a powerful force in the believer’s financial blessing, but you have to release your faith to receive all that the Word offers you. The force of faith must be applied by the Word of God in your heart and by the confession of your mouth.

The force of faith is what determines the dimension of increase that you will experience.  But you can’t believe what you don’t know do exist.  There is a hundredfold return and you can have it.  I want you to stretch your faith to get this provision of scripture for your increase.  Thirtyfold return is great to compare this world’s system.  There is no investment in the world that can give you such return on investment.  But as good as thirtyfold and sixtyfold are, there is hundredfold and God wants you to have it.  The hundredfold return on all our giving already belonged to us, but lack of diligence (failure to continually confess the Word and release faith for the hundredfold return) permitted the return to lie fallow in Accounts Receivable. Accounts Receivable is money that belongs to a company, but sometimes collecting it is another matter. We must learned how to collect! What we have learned will help us to continually keep that hundredfold engaged and operating in our behalf. Now we can continually release our faith for all of the hundredfold return on all our giving. (Since this great return already belongs to you and is just waiting for you to apply faith pressure, you can receive the hundredfold on your past giving as well. The hundredfold is retroactive. Praise the Lord!).

I always like to go for the best.  Now that we know that a hundredfold return is available on our givings to the gospel, none of us should receive less.  Muster all the faith and go for it.  Shalom!

REMEMBER:  The hundredfold return is available for you, go for it.

PRAYER:  Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your word.  I receive grace to stretch for the hundredfold return on all my givings in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

PROPHETIC RELEASE:  From today, I provoke a hundredfold release on your kingdom givings in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!

  • THE PLACE OF THE WORD IN KINGDOM PROSPERITY

    #WordForTodayDevotional

THE PLACE OF THE WORD IN KINGDOM PROSPERITY

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
    Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

The Word of God is God’s highway to the world of wealth. If you want Kingdom Prosperity, then the Word of God is the seed which you must sow to reap the harvest of prosperity. Prosperity in the Kingdom is on the platform of encounters with “this book of the law”. There is the laws of kingdom prosperity and it is contained in the Bible – this book. Until you encounter it, receive it and practice it, prosperity will be an illusion. God’s kind of prosperity begins with receiving the law and laying up His Words in your heart, because God’s Word is what leads to the world of wealth. It is God’s gateway to heavenly blessings (see Job 22:21-24). When you become a Word-operator, you become an automatic commander. It is your encounters with His commandments that makes you a commander. It’s your gateway to heaven’s blessings, amazing, unmistakable and undeniable blessings! In Deuteronomy 28:1-14, we see where God opens up, showing us the pathway to His everlasting blessings. It begins with: And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments… (Verse 1) And He goes on to list out the blessings. “This Book” is the gateway to wealth. It is the answer book for prosperity! Anything that can help your understanding of “this book” is an asset to your destiny, so grab it!

You cannot shine without light. Isaiah 60:1 says, ‘Arise, shine; for thy light is come …’ Until your light comes you cannot shine, no matter how hard you try. Psalms 119:130 says, ‘The entrance of thy word giveth light …’ That light refers to scriptural illuminations that help your appreciation of divine truth. Isaiah 60 1-22 shows us the value of that light when it enters you in form of blessings and distinction. The Word of God is God’s gateway to heaven’s blessings. It’s our covenant platform for kingdom prosperity. No short cuts! It is the Word that creates wealth. Prosperity is preached, not prayed for. Luke 4:18 says, ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor…’ What do you do to the poor? You preach the gospel. And what is good news to the poor? Prosperity! What is good news to the hungry? Prosperity! What is good news to the naked? Prosperity! What is good news to the homeless? Prosperity! You don’t fast for it, you preach it. The encounters come by the Word, not by the rigours of religious exercise. So it is the Word that delivers men from poverty. Any outstanding breakthrough is traceable to a definite light encountered from God’s Word.

Prosperity does not start with money. In fact, prosperity is not abundance of cash. The prosperity of your soul determines your overall prosperity in life. And the Word is what prospers the soul. Until your soul prospers by the Word of God, your life can’t taste prosperity. Every man that was released from the bondage of poverty encountered certain words that brought about their release. It’s not the practice, it’s first and foremost the Word. The prosperity of your soul by the Word is what results in your outward prosperity in life. The prosperity of the soul is nothing but the revelation of the Word of God.

REMEMBER: Light from God’s Word is the bedrock of Kingdom Prosperity.

CONFESSION: I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. I have the light of life working inside me. I can never walk in darkness because Christ is my light showing me the way to lay up gold as dust. Hallelujah!

PROPHETIC RELEASE: I declare that the eyes of your understanding is enlightened today in the Word. I decree the recovery of the lost grounds to the devil now in all areas of your life in the name of Christ Jesus Amen!
